I MADE IT!

Today was my last commute to work (for a while at least) and apart from a little bit of 'shirking from home' tomorrow, I am on maternity leave! Yay!

Sorry I went AWOL, but the last few weeks have been such hard work I've done nothing but go to work, sleep and eat. My bump is noticeably (even to me) bigger every day and I have twin 2's head stuck right in my ribs which is making the oddest things difficult (e.g. leaning forward to look both ways at junctions when driving ) But we are all healthy so can't complain too much (just need to get more sleep - plans for mat leave are naps x many!!)

Just had a read through to catch up though. Brilliant news from Tripletsandtwins, congratulations on the engagement to Neddie and well done to Danny on passing exams under such difficult circumstances.

Triplets - if you are still struggling with the webcam CD, put it in the drive, then click on the Start menu, then My Computer then double click on the icon that is called DVD Rom Drive(D or whatever is followed by (D the CD should then start up - hope that helps, ignore me if you've cracked it already

1stMrsF · 19/02/2009 20:13

Obviously the D Drive will not be called !

It will actually be called something ending in 'D:' inside some brackets ( )

MN smileys too clever for their own good.

Oh My God - my choice of tv has been awful tonight. Im just watching the documentary about the plane landing in the Hudson River and I am shit scared terrified of flying but earlier I watched the documentary about Faith and Hope, the conjoined twins who both lost their fight for life. I just sat and very quietly sobbed.....dont know why I do this - cant help myself - always curious about other peoples ways of dealing with things.

Keep sighing very loudly now - something I did constantly after I lost the boys.

Ladies I just looked at Facebook - looks like Meeely has had her baby! ANother little boy - hurrah!

frumpygrumpy · 20/02/2009 10:18

Shabs, I watched the Hudson thing. Scary eh. I'm not a big fan of flying. I always crave opening a window, I crave fresh air and it makes me feel slightly claustrophobic. I'd be happier if it got so expensive that we went back to simpler modes of travel and a simpler world. I couldn't watch the twin thing as I knew I'd find it too tearful. You ok?

Congratulations Meeely!

Just saw this and it made me think of teasleepfood's bump art . Maybe you've started a trend tsf .

Really happy for T&T that DTRD1 (hope I've got that right) is home .

And congratulations to Meeely .

Momma, your date sounds lovely, I too love Thai .

It's my first wedding anniversary on Monday and I am a stone heavier than the day I walked down the aisle. So I have been really good this week, in an attempt to get back into the clothes I wore on my 'honeymoon'. I 'reminded' DH the other night and told him I'd book the babysitter, but I wasn't cooking anything special and if he wanted to mark the occasion, he could sort it out for a change. I've not heard anything since, but am hopeful .

Well, it's Friday...I have made it to the end of half-term and I still have 3 children with all their limbs intact. DD1 has been doing a swimming course this week and yesterday swam 20 metres [v.proud emoticon] . Have her best friend over for a sleepover tonight...roll on Monday .

FG, hope the FG household is feeling better...

Right, lunch...

Neddie · 20/02/2009 14:04

Yum Thai food lovely. The bump art is great, though I will have to wait till a bit further along to have mine done (mine is definately going to be a spacehopper).
