what is it they say about colour and flubby skin

TKB, you are being far too subtle. You need to spell it out doll! You need.........

"Dear Mr TKB, you love me, I love you, please prove your love for me by organising our anniversary. Come home from work on Monday, order me to chuck my pinny on the back of the chair, swoosh me upstairs with a small sherry and order me to slick on my best frock and a swish of lippy, then wine me, dine me and remind me why my heart fluttered when I first met you. Got knows it won't be a-fluttering if you don't, it will be thumping out my big chesty with fury. Lots and lots of love Mrs TKB" along those lines doll?

Momma. Are you pregnant today LOL!!! I had 2 doms left over from TSF's date you could have had [innocent]

frumpygrumpy · 20/02/2009 14:55

My DD1 is much better today. I still have a sore throat but...................am I allowed to go out? Should I? I have tickets to see Hue & Cry tonight. Shabs, if you lived closer I would have given them to you.

frumpy - I may well give that a try. I am often too subtle for my own good .

And yes, you should definitely go out...it's not like Hue and Cry come to visit you every week now, is it?? . DP can have the dc's for the day tomorrow if you feel rough...can't he? .

no-one has missed me
One long week, feel very fed up and bored. Had to take two boys with us to Kings on Weds for Hs check up, no-one could have them for us. Left home at 9am got back at 5.30pm. Prof Rela thinks despite Hs weight loss, he is doing ok, did bloods and ct, get result next week. If all is ok, he doesnt need to see him for 4 months, so fingers xd. Then its back to onc on 12th March for restart of chemo. My ibs is really no better, feel tired all the time, so been going to bed early, just need a break, anything anywhere. So very glad to hear the dd of T&T is home, and amazed at my godsons typing skills So has no-one missed me

triplets · 20/02/2009 20:51

Well this is a fine how d`y do, you have all forgotten me.....boo hoo............

MERLYPUSS · 20/02/2009 21:43

Triplets who ?
I am off to bed soon. We have had the last week off work and OH has been on a '20 minute work call' since 3pm today. Dinner is in the bin and I have had a glass of milk for tea and that's it. If I fade away in the middle of the night (unlikely) blame it on his job .
GLad to hear lots of people have had good news. Isaac is back to his bouncy self and attacking his bro so all is well here. God knows what I will be like if ever they are iller than an ear infection. It's OH's fault, he panics me. I can be dead ill annot worry but as soon as he pokes his nose in about the kids being rough I get all twitchy. I will remember the laying the fevered one on the bathroom floor tip though for future reference.
nighty-night

OMG I have wept buckets tonight Frumpster.....thank you so much....I heard them sing and then heard the audience applauding.....to some people it may sound crazy but thank you, thank you, thank you Frumpster......

....and, Trips, I have missed you so much...your news sounds good to me!!!

I was not looking for Linda......thanks the mighty Frumpster. xxxxxx

Morning! That bump art was in a different league Neddie. Then again, I bet she didn't do it herself with only a mirror for help and not being able to see her belly button. Maybe we should have a 'hopper-off' with all expectant multiple mums! Glad you liked it TKB.
Hope everyone had lovely dates - bugger, I got figs instead, poor DH

frumpygrumpy · 21/02/2009 11:32

Shabs I couldn't do real life talking doll but as soon as he started singing I just had to phone you! Was it clear? Or muffled? I didn't want to hold the phone up too high and spoil anyone's view and DP was wondering what the hell I was doing (DP phoned me once from a Stones concert so I could hear Ruby Tuesday but all I could hear was the phone bumping off his leg and the guy next to him singing!)

T'was a great gig. Wasn't too busy when we arrived so we managed to wiggle down to the front. Pat Kane's voice was so solid and he clearly still adores doing live stuff. Thought I'd died and gone to heaven when he sang Violently, tis my personal favourite. He also sang a beautiful song "for all the parents", its about his daughter, called Stumble Through the Dance With You. I've never heard it before but it was so gorgeous. I think its all about not having a clue but loving it at the same time. I get that

Felt you were standing beside me last night Shabs, thanks hen, great night x.

Trips, not forgotten doll, not a bit, always watch for you and wonder whats going on when you're not posting x.

frumpygrumpy · 21/02/2009 11:42

Shabs, I know its a bit early for RadioGaGa but.... This was the concert I told you about lately. Me and my friend got into George Square at 8am one Saturday morning and got to the front (about 8 people back from the front row) You can just see how many people are there at the very beginning of the clip. The free concert went on all day, Hothouse Flowers, Hue&Cry, Wet Wet Wet, loads and loads of acts. There were people hanging out of office windows and hanging off the top of lamp posts. It was amazing. I love this song. They have a way with words.

shabster · 21/02/2009 11:47

For Frumpster

Morning hen. It was so weird!!! My phone rang and I said to Chelle 'OMG Frumpster is ringing me!!' I lifted the phone up and just heard the song so clearly. It sounded fantastic. Chelle was looking at me like this cause I was singing along with them! I just sat there with big blobby snotty tears running down my face!! It was a great suprise.

Tried to find the song you talked about - Stumble......- on Youtube but couldnt - I will not be beaten I WILL find it. Thanks again xxx

Never too early for Radio Ga Ga!! When we used to visit our 'holiday' friends in South Wales we would always end our boozy nights singing 'Looking for Linda'........and 'Half way to Paradise' and the Welsh National Anthem even though we dont speak a word of Welsh

frumpygrumpy · 21/02/2009 12:19

Shabs, thats fab. So glad. I had half a mind of worry in case your DH was with you and he was peed off that a nutter was phoning playing you a love song down the phone PMSL!!!! I think Stumble might be on their new cd which wasn't on sale last night........will keep my eyes peeled too.

Off to take care of DD1, she was better yesterday but not so great today......
