Oh. Trips you have every right to be depressed, you have my sympathy, it must be a nightmare. I have sunk into a pit of despair as well. Too much stuff in my life to do which I am unable to do at the moment because of pregnancy- it keeps me awake at night. I am all alone in the house as well.Dp gone back to Germany and won't be back for another 3 weeks- I will have to go and get my nuchal fold scan done on my own, which I was hoping he could be present for as well.

Gee up Neddie.................I would come with you if I could. We have to keep telling ourselves things will pass and as the wise one Shabs keeps telling me..............all will be well. At least I didnt need any dental work done, usually he finds something, kids were ok, just poor H needs a repair job! He weighed hiself this morning and it has dropped again by 2 kilos, yet he is eating a little better. Think he will have to go up on his own on Weds, simply dont know what to do with the kids, and they def dont even want to come. I so need a holiday, wouldnt care where, just out of these 4 walls. Better go, James is waiting to get on here. Thank you darling Shabs for my song xxxx

Just had to come on and brag

Danny has passed his second year Chartered Accountant exams....one more year and he will be fully qualified.

He sat the exams when Ems PND was at its worst and didn't manage to do more than about 2 hours studying - so its even better

Right....brag over!!

Whoa! How proud you must be and please tell Dan he is a very clever lad, had to be with a brill Mum like you! He must have worked so hard, what with being a new Dad and helping and worrying about Em, he has guts and I know where he gets that from. Please give him my love and tell him well done, he has acheieved so much in the last 12 months! His brothers up there will all be cheering I am sure! Still no luck for Weds, spoken to two friends today who live on their own, but no offer to help. Never mind, I am not going to stress about it, I HAVE to de-stress and get myelf back on track and must stop worrying, because it isn`t helping any of us. Any exciting news around to cheer me up, feel as though I am out of touch with everything.

shabster · 16/02/2009 22:39

He has one more year to do and then he will be a qualified Chartered Accountant He did no revising at all so he must have put in the work throughout the year.

Just been having a look at the music on Youtube and found this song. I used to want to be the girl in the Seekers - think she was called Judith Durham (or have I just made that up?) I used to love their songs

Remember them Trips?

kale nits ma petite mange tout, remember Judith Durham? All bound for morning town many miles away!

TeaSleepFood · 17/02/2009 08:18

Morning all,
Oh trips, we sing morning town ride every night to the twins! On the 1 occasion when I wsn't there at bed time I sang it in the car! My mum used to sing it to me and I can't help myself. Poor babes!

Neddie · 17/02/2009 09:00

Morning girls- thanks for the hand holding offers- I might take you up on that one Monkeygi. I am having my first ante-natal appointment today so quite excited. Got engaged over the weekend and bought the ring (which has to be re-sized). It's a 1920's style diamond within diamonds square design and has been pre-loved (just like me). it's not flash and we are trying to buy a house so I thought that was more important than a flash ring. I am not a jewellery person either but it is really lovely. What are Kale nits?

shabster · 17/02/2009 09:06

Morning girls xx

Neddie - Awww love the sound of your engagement ring. Kale Nits? The Greek word for Good night is Kale Nita (pronounced kalay neeta) but one night Trips wrote Kale Nits and it has stuck!!! Im not Greek or anything exciting like that but I have been trying to learn how to speak Greek for at least 5 years......progress is slow

tripletsandtwins · 18/02/2009 00:23

DTRD1 is HOME!!! AT LAST!!

Came home yesterday! Thought it would never happen but she's doing great, upped meds and everything, but yeah, better than anyone - myself included - expected I'm sooo pleased. Can't be bothered to rant about how awful the last few weeks have been because we're home and she's back in the nest, tucked up nice and warm in bed where she should be . The house feels whole and full again. HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!!!!!

Right... well I'm going to collapse again now and pray we have a completely hospital free future ... don't expect to see me for another week while I recover!

Hoping you're all doing great,

zz

tripletsandtwins · 18/02/2009 00:25

*xx (although perhaps zzzzz is more appropriate ...)

BTW Oooggs, I haven't congratulated you yet on the arrival of your little baby boy so... CONGRATULATIONS! Sorry it's a little belated

xx/zz
