Ooooooh, I like the sound of you already! Bring it round and we'll fill it with wine and/or revels.

Monkeygi · 12/02/2009 23:23

I don't mind it, I find myself singing it, I just like other stuff of theirs better. I have a lot on vinyl that I can't play anymore until I get a turntable. Its all at my mum & dads and likely purged and/or damp!!!! I do love the lyrics...........'is this one for Paisley' lol!

here is the young one who makes me swoon, 19 in this clip and with the gravelly voice of a man And his mum and dad run a chippy, what MORE could I ask for

Holy crap. I saw him just before Christmas at our corn exchange and he was a little the worse for wear. I could fix him given half a chance I tell you. Muddy puddle eyes boyo, let me JUMP IN

[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9uKOOHncNGw My dear, dear, dear friend Linda died about 4 years ago.....we met in Majorca when my Dan and Matt were little lads. We trawled up and down the country - us visiting them and them visiting us!!!! We had a connection like no other!! They drove 6 hours up from Wales and then 6 hours back to attend Matts funeral. She never, ever told me she was even poorly. Her darling daughter rang me and said 'Shar, are you ok my darling, my Mam died this morning!'

Want to play this for my dear friend Linda....I am still looking for Linda xx

Aw doll, thats so sad. What happened to your Linda? Horrible to miss someone like that. Heart of gold she must have had not to tell you.

Did that say 1989!!!! Oh that makes me laugh hard. I was sleeping with my hairdresser then Oh [shameful] and I really shouldn't have been PMSL!!!!

frumpygrumpy · 13/02/2009 00:48

You know the Linda story was real. He really did meet a girl on the train and wished it had been more.......a bit like that film. What was it called............

frumpygrumpy · 13/02/2009 00:49

SUCH a good music time. Truly. I was a happy girl back then! Oh jeez, world was my oyster and I was damned if anything was holding me back. Wonderful!

frumpygrumpy · 13/02/2009 01:17

Morning Shabs. FG - yes I do feel like I have to do it all, do more, fit more in. If someone else is struggling, even though my life is full to bursting I will set about cooking a freezer load of food for them, not just one dish but 4 or something, dont ask me why, I think I like to feel needed.....

triplets · 13/02/2009 08:44

Morning girls.........went to docs yesterday for 2nd opinion on ibs, she knows I am worried so has made me an appt on the 20th March at the colon clinic in Dover.........yikes, I know its silly as I just want reassurance but now am terrified there will be something wrong, what would we do? So last night feeling fed up I went to the pub for an hour and met 3 friends for a drink, am I getting paranoid or would you be worried too? H in a bad mood with me, I told my doc how disappointed I was with Hs doc, not seen him since last April, so she is getting him to call today to see him, and H is furious with me, cant do right for wrong and just wish it would all go away. My best firend flwe to India yesterday for a year, post came and she sent me a solid silver tiny heart to wear to remind me that she is always with me, boo hoo

shabster · 13/02/2009 08:46

Morning HM. Good to see you. I bet you are the kind of person who cant say 'NO' to anyone if they ask for your help I used to agree to anything because I hate thinking I have hurt someones feelings. I am getting really good at saying 'No, sorry I cant!' has taken years of practice though xx

OP posts:
shabster · 13/02/2009 08:48
