Morning girls Oh I like this page. The coldplay song made me cry. I was so depressed last night I couldn't sleep- i have so much crap going on-like everyone else. The pregnancy hormones don't help. I feel very sorry for you all coping with vomit-it's my biggest fear.

shabster · 12/02/2009 08:59

Morning Neddie - its grand here isin't it??? I love the multiples thread - especially quite late at night - when all of us 'special' people appear!!!! All the weird and wonderful and I am classing myself in the weird category! xx

OP posts:
shabster · 12/02/2009 09:00

....I also think the word 'special' has some reference to 'Care in the community....'

frumpygrumpy · 12/02/2009 14:28

Hi Neddie, doesn't sound like you to be down. Can we help?

Hi Shabs, having another day of illness with DT1. She is much brighter though and much less vomit DT2 is almost normal. Whatever the hell normal is.

HM, do you feel like you have to do it all? Even if DH is helping? Do you feel you have to do it all perfectly? I do and the more time I have the more I pack in. Give me half an hour and I will squeeze in an hours worth of 'work' when I should probably veg somewhere. I can't stop. Its an addiction. And its catch22. The more I do, the more I need to do, if I force myself to quit it bites me on the arse doubly hard.

How strange seeing that in type.

frumpygrumpy · 12/02/2009 14:30

Ah Shabs, if you bagsied 'weird' I guess that leaves 'wonderful' for me Um. Yup. Sort of fits.

shabster · 12/02/2009 14:31

Frumpster so glad to see that Charlie Peace didn't get you in the middle of the night

frumpygrumpy · 12/02/2009 14:43

Oh Shabs, but he did

Neddie · 12/02/2009 14:56

Hi there, thanks for the offer of help but I think it's because everything is happening at once to me and someone gave a heap of criticism to me via an e-mail yesterday and I just couldn't take anything else. I sort of had a bit of a meltdown. Good job I've had shedloads of crap in my life before so i know how to get out of it. Just say b**cks loudly! And think of all the fantastic things that have happened to me as well. How many women of my age would struggle to conceive a baby after one attempt- and I managed 2 at once so I must be positive- there are always people worse off than us.

TeaSleepFood · 12/02/2009 16:31

Go Neddie Go and bo***s to them all. You are so lucky to be having twins and to have found us !

I loved 'listening' to you and shabs FG it made me lol. Is it me or is Marti Pillow a cross between David Ginola and Hugh Jackman
Only a bit sad that I'm not one of the speshul people that come out at night - curled up on the sofa by 9!

frumpygrumpy · 12/02/2009 16:39

tsf, I think not young lady. I think last evening you were tripping out with a certain Mr tsf were you not. Didn't hear you come in and didn't remove my earplugs either. Shabs and I were doing sign language

David Ginola and Hugh Jackman.......I'm sort of seeing it! Thats right, just line them up. I have plenty time and plenty daydreams to fill

I feel a G&T coming on.

frumpygrumpy · 12/02/2009 16:43

Neddie, how nasty! That's a weak person who passes on criticism through email!!! Email is for chat and questions and answers. Not for criticisms. That is someone trying to hide and therefore someone a little insecure and therefore someone who is falling in your shadow and therefore someone who is jealous somewhere along the line and therefore someone who is being nasty because they don't like where they are in life and therefore someone deserving of our pity.

Send him/her over. We will carve them up with our sharp intelligence and wisdom suits.

frumpygrumpy · 12/02/2009 16:44

DT1 is poorly, poorly, poorly. And DD1 just started half term. Must mean she is due to get it about Sunday........

shabster · 12/02/2009 17:09

Ginola and Jackman - well both of them are very nice - suits you Sir!!! Frumpster - sorry to hear the evil illness is on the march

Neddie - you are right - I know I have put this phrase on here before but I do like it - my Matt (aged about 7) just before his accident said 'You know Mam, you have to gwab (grab) every day by the balls and shake it!!'

You keep gwabbing every day by them Neddie.

Shabs, did I say that my DD1's light came on late at night.......just after you told me you'd have words with Matt and Gareth to peel me back from the precipice? It must have been them DP was working just along the hall from her room when he noticed her desk light come on. He went in expecting to find her awake but she was out (nearly said like a light PMSL!!) cold, sleeping like an 8yr old. Spooky if you don't believe. Wonderful if you do.

shabster · 12/02/2009 19:26

How fantastic - I talk to the lads most of the day - asking for their help in loads of ways. Matt loved those desk lights and always pestered for one - even though he didn't have a desk He would have liked seeing your face like this

om bleedin god its taken me ages to find u lot again!!!!
not sure im liking all the new changes i cant find anything
well hope your all well and ive not missed too much xx

frumpygrumpy · 12/02/2009 21:31

Hi shaz! Nothing has changed. It might all look different but just choose Mumsnet Classic on the options page and suddenly it will creak back into being. The wine remains open, the gin remains cold, the hurricane lamps never burn out, there is always someone up and Shabs stokes the fires in the morning. Same old, same old Life ok with you?

Shabs, that's funny. Guess Matt has a desk lamp now I have tickets to see Colin Fry in April. Have you ever been? He's fab.

shaztwins1 · 12/02/2009 21:49

yep all fine my end thanks frumpy hope alls well with u 2 ill have to keep up this time round wont i lol

frumpygrumpy · 12/02/2009 22:15

I fear I need to be held in...........I am tending to spout forth on every thread that pisses me off. Then I utter my opinion and tell them that I'm off and won't be drawn into their shit. PMSL!!! And they think I care.

Monkeygi · 12/02/2009 22:42

Can I just butt in please? I'm not sure (cos I've forgotten exactly what name she said she's using) but the name seems apt, also the area/ age. So, Neddie, if you are who I think you are (trying to think of hint for my id cos you won't have remembered my moniker either-ooh yes. Karate.) WHY HAVEN'T YOU RUNG??? Never mind. Will be ringing you asap.
Sorry to everyone else for butting in, btw. Have been looking for my friend on here for ages. Feel v silly if it's not her.

(((shuffles quietly off)))

frumpygrumpy · 12/02/2009 22:42

Right. I think I'm through. Have done all my jobs as I have typed. Lucky the laptop follows me like another child

Just want to play this for you Shabs. I don't know why. I've just been singing it all day and I've got DD1 hooked too. I actually said to her "DD1, do you have my Blondie cd in your car?" she burst out laughing and said "no mama, its in my room though". Took me ages to work out what she was laughing at. Just to clarify, we are not posh. My DD1 (8) does not have a car

We do, of course, have a helicopter and pilot who sits in it at all times just for when the fancy takes me.

I'm so restless tonight.

frumpygrumpy · 12/02/2009 22:45

Oooh hi monkey........if she like you then its her. If she doesn't like you, we've never seen her and we don't know when she'll be back We're a loyal bunch here Pop in anytime though!!

Monkeygi · 12/02/2009 22:57

Ta frumpy. Will be checking in. If you see her tho can you tell her I promise I'll replace the glass.....
