estar - Hello my chucklebutty - you ok?

estar · 21/05/2008 21:46

Alwite duck? I'm alreet thanks .

Have you seen a duster or a broom anywhere? I think FG keeps them hidden in order to make herself indispensable to the rest of us. What she doesn't realise is - she already is!

Shabtastic - I was thinking of you today and the lovely relationship you have with your Em. It made me miss my MIL - she died nearly six years ago and she was wonderful. I always felt like part of the family and she was always so excited about me and DH being together (he was a rotten teenager and turned good before he got together with me but I still take all the credit ). She was ill for the two and a half years after me and DH got married and died when DS1 was ten months. I conceived the DTs two months later and soooo wish she could have known about them. She would have laughed her head off and then (if she'd have been well), been all the support and help I could have dreamed of.

Ah well.

Ironic, isn't it? What most people wouldn't do to get rid of their MIL .

Rubester - Hiya sweetie.

I cannot believe that tonight, in broad daylight, I have carried one of those cabin type high beds from my friend Joesters to my house. The funniest thing is that nobody even noticed us. We were both almost wetting our pants laughing cause it was so heavy. One day....when I am rich...I will have servants for this kind of job

I kept saying to Joester 'Do you know how old I am....I will be sodding 52 in December, stop laughing right this minute [grin'

estar · 21/05/2008 22:11

Oh pleeeeease come to my house in real life with that thing. Pleeeeease!

(Watching Mary Poppins was the worst thing I could have done as a child. The amount of times I just tried standing in my messy bedroom and clicking my fingers. Disney lied to me )

awwww estar - lovely words about your MIL. She has seen your twins sweetheart. I reckon there is a waiting room in heaven where all the babies hang around waiting to be born. I also reckon that loved ones that have died can sit with the babies who are waiting, and swop stories about the families they are coming to.

Estar...my MIL was lovely, but died before DH and i were even married. She never saw her 3 lovely grandchildren

And if nobody likes my pouffes and coffee i will take them back away again and sit on my own in the dark AND SULK.

So there.

And i will eat this chocolate all to myself [razz]

GodzillasBumcheek · 21/05/2008 22:17

Not many were watching it here Rubester - they are all Trotters fans (Bolton Wanderers) about 50 little Asian lads were having a mass game of cricket and we walked through the middle of them carrying the damn bed!! All we could hear was 'Hiya Tommys mam' 'Hiya Matthews mam.' Must admit when we got through the cricket game and around the corner we could hear sniggering.

shabster · 21/05/2008 22:19

my friends son is called Matthew as well [confusion emoticon]

Think I have pinched my 'bingo wings' with the piggin bed!!!

shabster · 21/05/2008 22:23

I know its wrong to 'hate' Rubester - but I'm sorry I really, really hate Man Utd. Spoilt brats the lot of them. Disappointed Sean Wright Phillips hasn't played for Chelsea - he is a fellow dwarf!!

GodzillasBumcheek · 21/05/2008 22:27

I HATE footie

BibiThree · 21/05/2008 22:27

Hi everyone, the serial lurker returns for her quarterly contribution!

Just out of interest, anyone on here have 10mo twins? Mine are driving me bonkers at the moment, catching every single germ to float within 3 miles of our house, trying their best to redecorate the house in poo and dirty every scrap of clothing they own withing the space of 24 hours.

And all of you who remember 10mo twins, please tell me I will make it to 12 months and beyond!!!
