To Matthew - thinking about you on your 'remember' day.

Ive got Matthews photo pinned up on my notice board - he has a beautiful smile.

For Trips and Matthew

I am going to visit Dan and Em just to check on them [mithering nosey mum emoticon] but wanted to leave a song for my lovely friend Trips.

Shouldnt be too late....

shabster · 01/06/2008 19:17

brucelovesfrumpygrumpy · 01/06/2008 19:18

shabster · 01/06/2008 19:21

DH already suggested the 'other thing' that is supposed to help. BUT I just know that my Dfirstborn knows nothing about S-E-X and Im not even going to think about him being rude with a young lady.

twolittlepigs thanks for the advice on tandem feeding - makes perfect sense! I love it when they suck on my little finger - sooo cute. Amazing how strong they can suck - sometimes we have a proper tug of war to get it back!

Trips is sitting here feeling very loved by you all, and has a glass in her hand too, thank you, you are so wonderful. Went to the cemetery this afternoon, feels so inadequate just putting flowers and a card, but it looked lovely, the weather was soft drizzle the same as the day he died Tomorrow the actual day will not be as bad, I always feel worse the day before. We went to a boot fair this morning, just to get out really, came across an old character selling plants, really good ones and very cheap, so we bought a tenners worth. He told us he had a nursery just 5 mins down the road, so we went to have a look. What a place, I just loved it..........a cross between Steptoes back yard, a run down farm and plants in a green house you should have worn a safety helmet in! There were dogs everywhere, ducks, geese, chickens and chicks, eggs lying everywhere! We bought more plants to cheer us up, to mark Matthews remember day tomorrow. As we were struggling to carry them up the muddy track, stepping over broken barrels etc, the old boy from the boot fair returned, saw us, wound down his window and said to me, "Ive just seen you twin sister back there", and winked. Dy know it made my day, somehow I felt I was meant to meet him today, does that sound strange? Came home and spent the afternoon listening to the mighty Rodster, curtesy of FG!! Will pop it in the post tomorrow Shabs xx

Ah all is well!

Subject.... I have to decide that! Sadly I don't think that my comedy writing is up to much or I'd write about the adventures of a multi mum!

triplets · 01/06/2008 20:12

Trips notes only 2 takers for w/end by the sea

MarsLady · 01/06/2008 20:16

I hope you noted my vested interest!

hi momma, good weekend? how's work going?

tkband3 · 01/06/2008 20:42

I'm definitely up for a weekend by the sea Trips. Toasting you and Matthew now, and will be thinking of you tomorrow.

Hello and love to everyone else.

ExpectingKat · 01/06/2008 20:42

Hi all long time no speak, sorry has been a while but its the first chance I've had to come back on lol I hope everyone is well.

All going well here, The twins are doing very well and are now 17wks have been going through the night since 12wk and my was I ready for that lol Cameron DD3 weighs over 13lb now and Kasey DS2 is over 16lb. DS1 has done so well with the change of having 2 babies in the house and loves to cuddle them (and throw things at them!) some days have been so hard juggling a 1yr old and babies and have found myself in tears but I love them to pieces and wouldn't change anything DD1 and DD2 love being able to hold a baby each and have been real helps. It was deffinatly a stressful couple of wks when twins were only a couple of weeks old and DS1 decided he was going to start to walk. I don't know how my nerves got through it. I still find it amazing that a yr and half ago I was a mother to 2 and now its 5!

Well I thought I would just pop on and say hi take care all

Kat

Deal in Kent and I provide the food!
Just popped two new pics on my profile, one for Matthew, one of Becca!

PazzaPlusTwo · 01/06/2008 20:57

shabs you are going to be such a godsend to Dan and Em

I had my mum round for a few days (hence absence on MN - she is like you Shabs and I am Tomster ... I'm SURE she GAVE me this pootah for my 30th birthday! ) and it was sooo great. the girls were much more settled, I got bacon and eggs for breakfast every day and sent to bed in the afternoon which totally helped my mood & milk supply.

it is also so delightful seeing mum holding her grand-daughters!

PazzaPlusTwo · 01/06/2008 21:00

Kent sounds great I'm in! Will look up Deal on a map. Which weekend?? Hope it's not the last w/e in June or the two after as we're bringing the girls to see their great-grandma in Switzerland and PILs in Germany.
