You too Momma...Im reconstructing all the big bits that we carried last night and making them into a brill cabin bed for Tommy - well thats the theory

ChopsTheDuck · 22/05/2008 07:52

Love the title, last week I was cleaning 'hamsters' out of the drains. He had very kindly filled both grates.

I am knackered. AF has come to visit, and I've spent the week running around sorting out dp. He trashed our beloved old fiesta this week. Drove it at a rav 4. Not very clever. Thankfully no-one was hurt, but the car was written off as it is so old. WHich means we now have to fork out payments for a replacement. Off to look at a mondeo tomo - anyone ever had one?

shabster · 22/05/2008 07:56

Morning Chops - apart from the car how are you? I dont drive, sorry, and only know Jags, Rolls Royces, Minis and Ford Capris Any other makes of car I identify by the colour!!

ChopsTheDuck · 22/05/2008 08:05

Oh Chops! Sorry about the car but glad everyone is okay.

I could do with a few more hours sleep this morning. Just putting out the recycling and looking at the amount playgroup mums can drink!

TiggerTonkerTruck · 22/05/2008 08:57

bellabelly · 22/05/2008 09:07

Just popping in, normally these threads run far too fast for me. Just wanted to say Bibi, yes my DTs are nearly 10months now and I feel your pain... Mine seen obsessed by all things technological and grab mobile phones, tv remotes, dvds etc etc. Haven't had any poo-smearing yet but am bracing myself!

MarsLady · 22/05/2008 09:20

Hi bella.... we don't mind post bys (as in drive by) but it would be good if you posted occasionally whether you've read the thread or not. We miss you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BibiThree · 22/05/2008 09:23

Bella, they're not so much poo smearing, they've had the trotts and managed to projectile poo out of the sides, backs, legs and fronts of their nappies on to all surrounding surfaces. Charming. And now one of them has figured out how to wriggle her arms out of her tops then scream the place down because she's stuck straight-jacket style inside the body

On the plus side, they're finally sitting up well on their own so will now happily amuse each other in the play cot for half an hour at a time so I can grab a cuppa and some toast for brekkie before 2pm! Hooray!

CHOPS - I learned to drive in a Mondeo and it was lovely to drive, from what I remember!

bellabelly · 22/05/2008 09:30

Marslady...

Bibi, that sounds like fun, mine had the trots a couple of months ago and it was revolting I must say. Also both got nappy rash as a result which NOTHING cleared up except leaving their nappies off. Ohhhhh the mess. Ohhhh the stink.

MerryMarigold · 22/05/2008 09:47

Hello. Popping in to say 'hi' and I can relate to all the pooey tales. That's despite only currently having one, who's learning to how to go al fresco (supposedly in the potty, but why would you sit on a horrid plastic thing when you can squat in the grass!). 3 lots of all that in a couple of years is beyond my comprehension right now, and probably rightfully so or I may not be able to go on with the pregnancy!

Tigger, have to laugh at the 'other woman'!
