Am catching up........Shabs thats fantastic about the £200!!!!! How long will that last in Faliraki????

jackieparsonspants · 12/05/2008 21:41

Ruby, I am picturing you as the Timotei advert ]grpm [grin[] PH I GIVE UP, IT WAS DP HE GAVE ME THE WINE!!!!! grin] pgrin]

FFS!!!!!

pixi please email me if my mobile number would help.....not that I imagine having the number of an old, shitey, fruitbat would help but.......... [email protected], just say on here that you have emailed (I tend not to check it regularly being an old black and white telly sort of a girl). Or anyone else that has Pixis mobile, ask her if she wants mine...just to offload sometimes. Remind her I don't do speaking voices but always make exceptions for important stuff.

Ruby, my meeting wasn't 'that' meeting. That was last wednesday.......[snore] It was the wifey to talk about our new house [double snore].......

estar · 12/05/2008 22:01

[lost] Frumpy? Is that you? I thought you were a newbie

shabster · 12/05/2008 22:36

Hiya girls...frumpster 200 squid in Faliraki could last us the whole holiday if we relied on 'freebies!!' When we take Tomster to the Mcdonalds in Faliraki the whole staff come out and shout 'welcome home, you come back to see us again!!' I think they are all probably barking mad - which is why we fit in. The money will last us at least a week and we dont scrimp on anything. If we want a cheap night out we go up into the village (or villarge as Nikos calls it). Nikos drives us there and picks us up at stupid o'clock. The taverna charges us about £5 for the three of us to eat and drink all night. We have a Greek dance, smash a few plates and 'Sagapo' everybody there. OMG I wish I could afford to emigrate without money worries.

triplets · 12/05/2008 22:46

shabster · 12/05/2008 22:57

Your not wrong Trips - knowing what I know now I would never have got married...and even though I would give my own life for my childrens I really am not sure if I would have ever had children. So much sadness and worry......I would never ever trade them for anything BUT sometimes it makes you wonder

shabster · 12/05/2008 23:00

Hiya Momma - everything ok with you? Have you heard anything from Tigger?

jackieparsonspants · 12/05/2008 23:09

Hullo my dears! I pushed DP off the seat for a moment and shoved him into bed with a cuppa and the paper. Poor soul is snowed with work, he's been flying all over the place since the day we got back from NY and might have to go to China next week......I wasn't best pleased when I heard the lunchtime news about that earthquake mind you.........

Shabs, that is truly fantastic!! £200! I've never won a bean. Well, I did win a dancing competition at a disco when I was about 12. I was a fan of FAME at the time LMAO!!!! Put my heart and soul into it, wearing a big, poofy, tartanesque, party frock and won a pack of marked playing cards Story of my life!!

Hey, trips xxx. So, are you sleeping together again?

triplets · 12/05/2008 23:10

Yeh..lovely song Shabs. It is awful to say but you wonder if you could go back, would you do it all again? Probably I think. Life was so good for me until 94, easy, happy, no worries, darling darling boy........then bang. I do often ask myself if I did the right thing bringing three more into this world, only because I feel a sense of selfishness, I needed them, didnt stop to think that one day we would be looking so much older than their friends parents. My two boys went to a football party on Sat and apparently were party poopers as they hardly joined in. It made me feel that its our fault, they dont have young parents to run around a pitch with them, we do do alot with them, but we are not sporty anyway. In the last few weeks since we heard about H, I feel so sad that we have caused them to worry about their Dad, it isn`t fair. Then I think how awful life would be without them, I love them so much, often look at them esp when they are sleeping and still cannot believe that I did it, I had triplets!

shabster · 12/05/2008 23:12

Hiya Jackie - Me and trips are not sleeping together again - I deny this

shabster · 12/05/2008 23:14

Trips me darling.....If I could go back and do it again....do you want the honest, honest truth?????

I would run, screaming in the opposite direction.

I apologise if that offends anyone. I adore my sons BUT..........

Not trying to be clever or funny with this post I just would never repeat the last 32 years.

triplets · 12/05/2008 23:16

Jackie Remember me from Lizzie Carter School for Girls

Yep, H has been upstairs for a week now, so there are three of us in this relationship Me, H and Gladys

She makes funny noises and keeps me awake and I am sooooooooooooo trying to like her but atm finding it hard and actually off putting which is horrid of me. So worrried she is going to come adrift in the night, told my friend Tessiebear I will need to sleep with wellies and a sowester on......."MAN THE LIFEBOATS"

Not funny really

Apart from Billy Connolly, Morcambe & Wise are two of my favourite things ADORE them.....

Trips, my money says each and every one of us would do it all exactly and precisely the same all over again.

And another thing.....the way your children behave really has nothing to do with you. I could talk long and hard about the nature/nurture debate. My mum was/is adopted. I belive you are who you are and no amount of external influence can really alter that. Slightly, but not enough to be significant. If they didn't join in the footie, its because they didn't want to. You were so right to bring your darlings into this world. We wouldn't be here now if you hadn't........stop being so selfish PMSL!!!
