PMSL shabs! Does this ring true for most of the male species? Is this why traditionally men came home late from the pubs?

Lol at 'testimonials'. When I worked in a pet shop we had somebody bring their hamster back because it had developed 'lumps'. Needless to say it was a boy .

Seriously I would have thought that he is probably curled up somewhere seeing as hamsters are generally nocturnal. Have you checked he's not still in a corner of the ark? Maybe start looking where the run is and work outwards? (Sorry if you've already done that )

shabster · 20/05/2008 10:31

Never thought of that.....think I need to carry out a detailed survey. Right make an orderly line now boys:-

Robbie Williams
Marti Pellow
John Travolta
Linford Christie....thats why he used to win so many races - his testimonials used to get over the line first

Matt used to also say 'telt fips' (felt tips) bardecrue (barbecue), Woss Baggott (Russ Abbott) and talkie walkies

frumpygrumpy · 20/05/2008 10:32

Do they need any condoms?

shabster · 20/05/2008 10:33

Was I right Snorris - was it your hammy that was lost? I remember Tom being mortified that one of the multiple mummies had lost their hamster

They are rather well endowed though aren't they. However I have never seen a hamsters todger????? Just going to hoover the bedrooms and check out Cena the hamsters tackle.

snorris · 20/05/2008 10:35

Yes,it was dd1's hamster that went AWOL. Being a girly hammie I think she shifted a bit quicker though .

shabster · 20/05/2008 10:36

Hamsters

frumpygrumpy · 20/05/2008 10:37

Shabs, I'm loving it.

DT1 says "bisceti" (spaghetti), and DD1 used to say "radiatior" (radiator) and "bananana". My DD1 has a lisp and it makes everything she says very cute.

She is 7 now though and I have been worried about her being teased at school. I have been doing speech therapy exercises with her and its going. Along with new teeth she says everything different now. Sad but true She used to shout "luth you" at night as I closed her door. I adore that.

shabster · 20/05/2008 10:37

PMSL I thought it was yours Snorris!!

I had only just come onto MN and Tommy was besides himself worrying about your hammy!!

shabster · 20/05/2008 10:40

Matt was hysterical - his speech was very, very late - until he was about 5 there was only Danny who could understand him.

Matt: Mam wead towas the tank engine for me peeas

Me: One day Towas the tank......

Matt: Dats not wight - Its not Towas its Towas - come on Mam. Tawk pwoperwy.

Me: One day Towas the tank......

Matt:

I lurve it when the lisp - Tommy does that, especially when he is very tired.

frumpygrumpy · 20/05/2008 10:47

Why do they grow up?

HarrogateMum · 20/05/2008 10:47

blimey its all go on here isnt it!!

I am just having a rest from running around doing last minute washing and packing and sorting and drying and aaaaaaaggggggghhhhhhh

Hope you find the hamster Tigs!

snorris · 20/05/2008 10:47

Slightly off topic but I love this! Guinea pigs.

Dd1 used to say 'rodoglator' (radiator),'spadidge' (sandwich) and 'nadidge' (sausage). We had a sonversation with Dt1 last night about Doctor Sue (Who)!!
Dd4 has a lisp and so does Dt2 now she's lost her teeth.

frumpygrumpy · 20/05/2008 10:48

You've just reminded me that the DTs call the escalator the elegator.

snorris · 20/05/2008 10:49

conversation

In my defence dd4 has removed several keys from the laptop!

frumpygrumpy · 20/05/2008 10:49

HM, I pack any last minute wet stuff in bags and dry it there!! And when I was a teenager I used to wear my jeans wet (horrible!!) because a girl has to suffer for her vanity

shabster · 20/05/2008 10:49

Love the GPig thing - I think I need to get out more!!

frumpygrumpy · 20/05/2008 10:50

Don't go out Shabs! Tis a world out there we know nothing about...........

shabster · 20/05/2008 10:51

Aw yes Frumpster I remember that. Used to lie in the bath with my Wranglers on getting them to fade and to shrink to my size!! Would have to go the opposite route nowadays!!

snorris · 20/05/2008 10:53

Have you seen The llama song?

I really shouldn't be here. I am child-free until 2pm and I'm supposed to be tidying etc. I keep seeing ads for food on the TV and now all I want to do is eat.

frumpygrumpy · 20/05/2008 10:53

Right. I need to pee, make beds, tidy kitchen and make lunch and tea for my gran. She's 83 and I'm picking her up at 12pm. She will have two gins & tonic around 5pm and tell me I make the best gin & tonic in the world.

She'll say "I don't know what it is but you make a great gin & tonic hen, there's something about them, I've tried making it masell but its never the same". Then she'll doze on my couch and say she's never slept so well. She always says the same thing, love her to bits.

shabster · 20/05/2008 10:54

Did anybody see The Osmonds on GMTV? Ha Ha - they will never be able to sing Crazy Horses AND dance!!!!! Looking forward to Saturday night even more now.

They were all interviewed and it looked like this:-

Jimmy, however, still needs a dam good slap! Marie - well I just know she is going to sing Paper Woses - and I know the Manchester lot will sing WOSES really loud like she does

shabster · 20/05/2008 10:55

frumpygrumpy · 20/05/2008 10:55
