That's what I was hoping HM but having picked the DTs up from playgroup I'm completely knacked! Stopped for a rest, now I'm making tea and I need a lie down.

Ruby - thats why I stay here and rarely stray off thread!

Now I need some advice.

I am meeting a few women I've never met before tomorrow night -what should I wear?

tkband3 · 16/05/2008 18:39

HM, that's what I was going to ask . What's everyone wearing tomorrow?!

Mars, if I drove up and gave you a lift, do you think you'd manage it?

estar, what an awful shock. You've just reminded me to get DH to check all the smoke alarms tonight.

tkband3 · 16/05/2008 18:41

Oh and I forgot to say, Shabs, hope you have had a better day today. Reading your list of worries, it's no wonder you have been feeling out of sorts.

shabster · 16/05/2008 18:49

Hey Rubester - just been and had a good nose on the conversations I think you are talking about. Pardon me for not crossing this out but I cant be arsed with that lot. I have sweaty moustaches, facial hair, panick attacks and my big fat bum to concern myself with - they are like the mums in Tommys playground but not half as sarcastically funny. Malakers!!! (greek word)

HarrogateMum · 16/05/2008 18:50

Well Tkb - I will be in my jeans both morning and night no doubt, although slightly smarter ones in the evening! I have most of my good stuff folded on a bed ready to take to Aus so cant promise I will be looking suitably yummy mummy!

shabster · 16/05/2008 18:51

tk!! It looks quite funny when you list whats going on doesn't it?

Malakers - hope nobody on here speaks any Greek at all. Malakers - Malakers, Malakers.

shabster · 16/05/2008 19:04

Im going to my friend Josters for a few hours with the mighty, SAT finished, TOMSTER!!

See you all soon.
Dear Penis

Thought you might all get a laugh out of this that my 18 yr old nephew sent me!!

HarrogateMum · 16/05/2008 19:12

Shabs - can you send me your address via FB -I too think I have a little something that would be good to take to Faliraki with you (and its not flip flops!!)

TiggerTonkerTruck · 16/05/2008 19:57

HarrogateMum · 16/05/2008 19:58

TiggerTonkerTruck · 16/05/2008 20:01

frumpygrumpy · 16/05/2008 20:55

I poured sturdy G&Ts too early

DP and me are like lushes

I'm shopping online for Mary Poppins tickets and DP is cooking.....lovely.

Shabs, did you email me? Go on. I won't be silenced. Not where a friend is concerned

HM, I do jeans with casual school run tops and beads in the day and then jeans with a sleeveless top in the night. Works for me But then I have no friends and can't cope with sociable ocassions

frumpygrumpy · 16/05/2008 20:55

Look at all my smileys PMSL. I must be pissed

FG and Rubes - with you.......just on a little brandy whilst watching Phoenix Nights on DVD

triplets · 16/05/2008 22:25

Evening ladies..........whats going on tonight that we all have to stay on here? You know Shabs and I like an early night

Well poor H has felt really awful all day today, that two days now, just sitting, doesn`t feel like eating, very pale, so hope he bucks up tomorrow, it makes me feel sad and I can see Becs keep watching him. He has had another appt come today for next week, so Mon its the consultant to get all the results and decisions, then Thurs its the oncologist to discuss the chemo, its all starting to really sink in how very serious this all is. Keep thinking that we would be getting ready to go to Center Parcs on the 26th, maybe later on! Had to go up to school today to sit with Thomas, they ran an Urlen test on him (for reading, to see if he is dyslexic)he sailed through it no problems, so thats a relief.

As Shabs gone out tonight for some apple juice, we`ve not had music at midnight the last few nights, I worry when she goes quiet!
