Happy Birthday Frump! You look wonderful

Life here has returned to normal - DS1 is back at school and wheezy cough has nearly gone. Can't seem to catch up on two day's missed housework tho!

LG&T - ear: olive oil. Happened to a woman when we went diving and the instructer told her it really works. A little dribble is supposed to disperse the water.

And SHINGLES! DT2 had that last year and the doctor was actually exicted - he had never seen a three year old with it before. He was fine and it cleared quickly once we'd worked out what it was, but I thought the same thing - how can such a healthy, energetic bouncy child have shingles?

Happy Birthday FG . here's a present .

Been sorting more stuff out for the wedding. Have decided on this dress for the girls.

Oh and must add my name to the meet-up thread - DP said yes .

Morning all,
Well the snow has well and truly arrived just got back from sledgeing, we had a fab time.Just sad im in no condition to zoom down the hill with them But the sight of DH and kids made up for it DD made a lovely snow angel.I have to say some of the best things i have ever bought is the sallopetes and ski wear. The kids no longer get wet or cold when its like this.Everything looks so beautiful all white and the moors and mountains spectacular.Wish you were all here to join in.Anyone else got lots of snow????
Have a nice day
Twinkle

theslownorris · 02/02/2008 11:05

Not much chance of having snow here . We're on the South Coast and less than a mile from the sea . Had a heavy frost, although that's gone now.

BibiThree · 02/02/2008 11:16

No snow here either (south wales) .

Lots of frost though so we're staying in with hot chocolates and pjs today!

theslownorris · 02/02/2008 11:43

My first "proper" job was in Wales . I was a groom at a yard near Abergavenny and then I went to work for a family in a village between Crickhowell & Brecon. I hadn't been back for years until Dh & I stayed just outside Cardiff for our 10th wedding anniversary. I still miss the place now . (Not from Wales btw, just love it there ).

Had to take the DTs to a birthday party today. Need to organise theirs really. Well I've booked the puppet show and planned to cook fishfingers and chips. Suppose I ought to do the invites really lol!

That was a oh dear Lord lovely cake Bibi! Yum!

BibiThree · 02/02/2008 19:35

BibiThree · 02/02/2008 21:14

Aaah, would love to be more northern at this tome of year. I love snow!

triplets · 02/02/2008 23:04

Good evening everyone,
No such luck as being a dirty stop out Momma, just been going to bed abit earlier to escape being down here, feel less stressed in my comfort zone with a good book and a bag of M&S choc covered nuts hidden under the bed, the only decision I then have to make is whether or not to crunch them in one go, or suck them slowly til all the chocs gone and then savour the roasted nut on its own...............what ever happened to Sat nights when I would get dolled up, wait to be picked up by an exciting man, out on the town until 2 in the morning...........oh such heady days! Now its round up the kids, round up the cats, sort the washing, load the dishwasher, and fall exhausted into my bed. Is this called getting old?

galaxymummy · 03/02/2008 01:05

Dear Triplets
you are getting old when
you stop kissing policemen at new year because they look too young
when you look at soya milk and multigrain bread with interest(incipient menopause)
when your baby feeding equipment starts to head south
when dh says "I cant pick you out on stage as your hair has lost its bright red colour"
when dd says "mum I am taller than you" and tucks me under her chin
I can feel a new thread brewing here?

largeginandtonic · 03/02/2008 05:22

FG many happy belated returns to you, i hope you had a wonderful day. Hope the Broadband gets sorted soon we need you on here

Estar you have made me feel so much better, i just keep thinking how on earth did he get this?! There is chicken pox going round here so i guess that is where it has originated from. He is ok but some spots have started showing up on his leg further down just as the first ones seem to have scabbed over

I am waiting with baited breath for the others (2 youngest) to come out in the pox and the other 3 to get shingles like Jacob. I think it is inevitable, i will be in for months!

Tigger whats this about you not coming to the meet? MrsJB is lovely, are you FB chatting? She has been to my house you know her Granny lives up the road form me. I am desperate to go and visit her in France, she has a mansion y' know How are you anyhoo?

Have i missed Kat coming back? More lovely babies to squidge soon

Triplets if that is the case then i too am old > I must get some of these magic choc covered nuts, M&S one's the best?

I have just fed Beau and he shows NO signs of wanting to go back to sleep, i am pretty sure he does not need a feed at this ungodly hour anymore. Must break the habit.

Hello everyone else >

TripleyTigger · 03/02/2008 13:07

LG&T We are FB chatting and scrabbling,MN chatting and MSN chatting!! Obviously we have way too much time on our hands She said that you were lovely and that she had been to your house. Do you know that the mansion has just had a lovely new kitchen fitted? Yes I am trying to bully ask her into letting us stay She says she has a lovely cellar to lock the kids in

Oh, well the meet up is to far and to much to arrange for me,so i was really looking forward to Piximons, only I have had to pull out of that two. Although I have said I will try my hardest to pop in AND offered my baby sitting skills whilst she is house hunting to make up for it

Momma are we gonna get snow or what?

TripleyTigger · 03/02/2008 13:09

Have you had a bad night? LGT? You posted blinkin early!!! I hope you are o.k.
