I know I am ashamed especially because I shared a house with loads of law students.......

Now Roffey Bros - werent they builders who did up some flats?

Chopster · 12/02/2008 17:08

pmsl! You may not be much help, but you are certainly making me laugh!

Consideration, in the legal sense, must consist of some ?right, interest, profit or benefit accruing to the party or some forbearance, detriment, loss or responsibility, given, suffered or undertaken by the other? (Currie v Misa [1875] LR 10 Ex 153).

any help?

HM, don't worry I am def coming, also meeley has said she is def coming. I've jsut not got the funds to book jsut yet. Should be sorted and will be booking in the next couple of weeks, provided estar is still up for it, or will share with meeley. (we've met before).

shabster · 12/02/2008 17:08

HM Well impressed girl that was ace

Must admit I googled Williams first and I dont need to tell you the rest do I.......some amazing images of him in his glory just showing off his tats.

Would love him to maul up my liberty bodice (only triplets and one or two northern girls will know the secrets of the liberty bodice)

shabster · 12/02/2008 17:11

Chopster - I understand your explanation less than I understood your homework title. Listen to me homework, cause of my 10 yr old that.

If you need to know about the tattoo around Robsters neck - apparently it means each to their own.

Chopster · 12/02/2008 17:13

unfortunately the tutor is a man, so I don't suppose pictures of robbie williams or talk of bodices is gonna help much. Might make me feel better though.

frumpygrumpy · 12/02/2008 17:24

Oh damn, I know liberty bodices, does that mean I am also in the "come in and sit on my knee" brigade? I also lust after nubile young men. Anyone remember the time I bought a winter snow jacket and the young boy man boyman gave me a free t-shirt? now that was fun!

LG&T can I come and rub the baby on one of your dcs? The dts were 3 months when they had the pox and it was a dream because they were unaware and couldn't scratch. Ds1 was 2 so didn't fare as well. Your poor dh, its supposed to be murder as an adult.

And yes, I've heard you can be immune to it. I've got a couple of friends who have been exposed to it many times and never caught it.

shabster · 12/02/2008 17:28

frumpygrumpy would be an honour to have you in the 'sit on my knee' gang.

Before I was about 35 I used to say how much I liked older men. Now I am 51 and married to one I have gone right off the idea.

I am a PERV - there you go - they say confession is good for the sole.

frumpygrumpy · 12/02/2008 17:33

Shabster (please explain your name to me), thank you for the welcome. There is nothing wrong with a bit of perving IMHO. Tis therapy for the soul. Where would we be if we couldn't lust.

Overrun indeed!!! I know she's just shy because she can't keep up. Did anyone tell her we only manage it on alternate weeks and text each other the important bits

FG I saw your article in the Sunday Times mag... all about when you had the DTs and your new radio show "The Gabby Logan Show" on Radio 5 .

iamdingdong · 12/02/2008 18:07

oi fg I've emailed you too, about 3 times I think kept getting distracted by the whingy clingon that DT2 has become (she's jsut had an almighty strop over eating any tes - has had nothing all day, I ended up pretending the hospital was on the phone - bad mummy and then all she ate was 8 pasta twists adn a clementine )

shabster · 12/02/2008 19:09

My friends little boy already had an auntie shaz (sharon) so wouldn't call me that - he decided (at 4 yrs) that he would call me shabba.

When I knew I was going to be a first time gran - he extended it to Grandma shabster.

At school I used to get shazbat (influenced by Mork and Mindy) oh yes and the boys favourite - Titty Tildsley (my chest and my maiden name)

Frumpy g - bet you wished you had never asked

frumpygrumpy · 12/02/2008 19:32

Thank you shabster, I loved Mork & Mindy, so wish there were reruns of that now....... fancied myself a pair of her dungarees I see reference to your story and I haven't had time to properly catch up. Where is your story?

dingdong, don't worry, I only check my fg address once in a blue moon unless I'm expecting something. Your poor wee girl. Just let her eat nothing, I get like that when I'm ill (and my DT1). Don't want to eat, just want to sleep. She'll top up when she's ready. Will she take a milkshake?

I see Overrun ran off again........

Momma, where you be girl? I've been wearning this damn bikini all day!

Where's Em/Tigger/Triplet girl? Strangely quiet.....

iamdingdong · 12/02/2008 19:39

fg she won't have anything, I've tried ice cream, yogurt, fruit juice, choc mousse... its been going on for days now, she did eat some spag bol last night, so I thought I'd do similar tonight, but her 4 yo sense of logic isn't tuned in to mine yet! She's got no fat on her to spare either

shabster · 12/02/2008 19:47

fgrumpy - 'story' is on page 13 of this thread.

Well my lovely ladies - I am off to dance the night away at my friends house - promise there will be no talk of bodily functions on my return home on MNet.

Hello every one < waves energetically> I am still an occasional MN user, but am limiting myself these days.
Still struggling on, dts not toilet trained, still on mattresses on their bedroom floor, everything bolted on to the wall. So no change there then
HOpe every one is well, and thanks so much for giving me such a sweet nudge back to the thread

At last all is quiet in the Peace camp, even DH has gone to bed, he was 2 hours at the hospital and looks very tired tonight, so now we wait for the results. On top of everything he had the prep done last week on his broken tooth, going to put an "insert" in it(never heard of that one), this afternoon the tooth broke again before he left the hospital! Then driving home the car started to make a horrible noise and shuddered, just in time for our week away! It never rains but it pours as they say! For once though I felt sorry for him. Now then where is Ms Shabster? Slap wrist for telling big porkie pies..........I did not tell you to say "pervy", moi........no no no. Being a good southern girl( I use the term loosely) I do not even know the meaning of the word, and how can you fancy Mr Williams when you have your own look-a-like at home?

triplets · 12/02/2008 22:18

Guess you are all out on the town doing the conga with Shabster.........Triplets sulks and goes off to be...........

BOO

Still nobody about...........oh well its bed and a book, how exciting is my life?
