Hiya everyone - including old and new Anyone got any news they want to share - i can read from this post onwards next time i'm online (cos i really haven't time to back-read)?

My own news is that i seem to be getting the reputation for 'the crazy mum' with the DTDS friends
I can't see why - all i was doing was trying make my hair stay down and all (my hair is quite frizzy). And they all came and saw me sticking mousse in my hair through the window - so i chased them all with the mousse all over my hands - why did i do it? How embarrassing!

triplets · 11/02/2008 22:10

I noticed Momma............imagined the scene from that Bo Derek film with Dudley Moore, what was it called? Shabster I bet you know. Theme tune Ravels Bolero or something.........anyway I digress! No sleep Frumpy, DH has to go to hospital tomorrow, been losing blood from the end we`d rather not talk about, been happening since last Sept, only went to docs in Jan, def something wrong, he is up 5/6 times a night to the loo. I have been worried sick, though the first visit to the consultant he was told they were sure there was no big C involved, took some blood and now more tests tomorrow. Since Christmas things have been worse, I take ages to get to sleep because of my tinnitus, then he wakes me up every time he goes to the loo, need a spare bedroom Sorry, not a very jolly post girls Its been abit stressful to say the least. It was lovely of you Frumpy to say Matthews name, made my heart sing..........

Do...do...do......NICE TO SEE YOU BACK FG.....come on and do the conga.............

TripleyTigger · 11/02/2008 22:19

Of course a congo line is almost the same as a CONGA,but you have to do it Safari style.

Momma knows all about that

triplets · 11/02/2008 22:20

Oh golly Momma, now I feel old......Matthew will be 29 on the 9th July.

triplets · 11/02/2008 22:21

Tripleytigger do keep still for 5 mins, it can`t be good for you!

shabster · 11/02/2008 22:22

triplets my love - the film is 10 - methinks
Know what you mean about your heart singing when you hear MATTHEW - ditto from me.

you know I'm always here for you - like the proverbial bad penny

estar · 11/02/2008 22:22

FRUMPY!

shabster · 11/02/2008 22:25

e star - help me get my coat undone - cant reach the straps cause they are on the back -

MyOtherPersonalityIsTheSaneOne · 11/02/2008 22:26

Triplets I have not been on the D'ya ever threads enough to know about Matthew, so i really don't know what to say.

Your poor DH though. And I know how disturing tinnitus is too, i suffered with recurring ear infections as a child, and DH still has it.

triplets · 11/02/2008 22:27

And whats wrong with Bolton?
Ten.........hooray, that would have been on my mind all night...........ok off we go Shabby.....do do da do da do da do da do da

estar · 11/02/2008 22:28

Okay, Shabby, just come this way, that's it, further back

Triplets, that's nearly my 29th birthday! He was born nine days before me!

shabster · 11/02/2008 22:30

Ta trips - much appreciated although there is quite a lot wrong with Bolton (or Notlob as I lovingly call it)

anyone fancy doing the progressive barn dance - 'slide slide clap move on to the next person' - anyone goes near Mr Robbie Williams and I will kick them in the willy - he is mine

triplets · 11/02/2008 22:32

Vimto...........when we were kids every year we used to go on a coach trip to Hythe canal for a fishing competition, all the kids were each given a bar of Cadburys milk chocolate, a satsuma, a bag of crisps and a bottle of Vimto.......yum! One year I cried cos I caught an eel and wouldn`t take it off the hook!

estar · 11/02/2008 22:32

Dingdong, that's the same kind of asthma ds1 has, always in the night and worse in winter. I'm also thinking it won't last into adulthood.

And triplets, my dad had the same 'issue' as your DH for ages and ages. Sorry, I can't remember now what it was, but I know it was eventually sorted with a minor op and he's okay now. I really hope the same turns out for you guys.

shabster · 11/02/2008 22:33

oh estar - and I thought we were close

I went to Morecambe Pontins every year and so have a soft spot for you. Donkey derby, olympic sized swimming pool, kids club it had everything - someone told me they have built a prison there!!

MyOtherPersonalityIsTheSaneOne · 11/02/2008 22:36

DTD1 has that sort of Asthma. She still needs the blue inhaler very occaisionally, but doesn't need the brown one at all. she usually needs it when she has been laughing excessively (at me)!

triplets · 11/02/2008 22:36

But Shabby you are not quite in Bolton are you? Must say I have a secret, DH has realtives who come from up that way, they come en mass, we usually keep the curtains half closed when they come down to their caravan(can`t quite call it a mobile home)and pretend we are out. Affectionatley known as The Wiganites!

shabster · 11/02/2008 22:40

Oh yes I remember that Trips - we call them Pie eaters not Wiganers.

What do you call four Meat and potato pies on a skewer?

ANSWER A Wigan kebab

OK lame I know

Anyone know Uncle Joes Mint Balls - not personally in the biblical sense - they are toffees.

We are on the outskirts of Notlob - a leafy little suburb called Farnworth - sounds lovely dosen't it? Peter Kay went to school here

estar · 11/02/2008 22:40

Shabs, you'll wish you'd been here today - it was gorgeous. I nearly crashed the car cos I was driving along the prom staring at the beautiful water. People were everywhere, without coats and the beach shop was even open! We only moved here in October, so I have yet to see it in all its holiday glory. And if you want to come on holiday again, there's always lots of room at the B&Bs....

(Won't mention that's because nobody else comes here anymore)

And you know I love you really. Mwah x
