x swords here Shabster
I have to say I watched the second half of the match with 2 of my brothers who were both born with the Man U kit on! My Dad used to support Liverpool, so I would support anything my Dad did! Should have seen my brothers faces when the final whistle went, and the language. Still think you should have gone to church

shabster · 10/02/2008 20:25

trip - MCFC needed me in front of my tv today - church will be fine for at least another week. Yes, I realise, MCFC cant hear me screaming like a 'fishwife' but all our street can and, as I have said before, I was put on this earth to cause bother.

You stick with the 'pool' my love. Tom asked if he could support someone else cause he was sick of being disapointed by City - my reply 'I would rather you come home with a dress and high heels on'

2 goals to 1 - Umpah.

shabster · 10/02/2008 20:29

I bought a MCFC shirt - much to DS1 disgust - 'older woman shouldnt talk on mobiles or wear football shirts' (so when he is around I do both)

When I went to the sports shop - spotty geeky lad said - 'I dont think we do a shirt large enough for you love' (oh, come here said the spider to the fly, young man)

My reply - Bernard Manning is a city fan and I have seen him with a shirt on - if it fits Bernard it will fit me!

Think I am either a tomboy or I have slight lesbian tendancies

MarsLady · 10/02/2008 20:50

man u hater shabby. I'm a Spurs girl and my DS is a Gooner (I blame his godfather)

estar · 10/02/2008 21:01

Wow Shabs - thanks for sharing. The thought of it made my blood run cold, I've had so many nightmares about my boys being knocked down, I can't believe you've had to live through it. Made me smile though to think of him, he sounds wonderful. My 6yo ds also pronounces his 'r's as 'w's and I don't want him to stop! And how amazing that when you shouldn't have had a day with Gareth, you ended up with seven months!

electronic · 10/02/2008 21:09

thanks ooogs and marslady, will email you now marslady. apologies in advance for being in and out of the MN loop for messages as i live in new zealand and we are 12hours different in time zones so my posts will be at odd times for you all in england (?i am guessing mostly and by the sounds of it london where i have just moved back from to be nearer family). am looking forward to sharing and gleaning advice from you all

electronic · 10/02/2008 21:10

ooh and thanks mommafeelgood for the welcome too!

oooggs · 10/02/2008 21:13

wow electronic - NZ, I'm down south in Cornwall {grin]

estar · 10/02/2008 21:15

electronic - I never ended up tandem feeding for the same reason but I got them to latch on properly individually. In hindsight, I probably could have tried again later but I liked holding them one at a time instead and it's not exactly discreet when you're tandem feeding, is it?

stringerbell I have three boys close together too (one then twins 20 months later) and we're still surviving - I've even had another one since!

electronic · 10/02/2008 21:17

hi there marslady

thanks for the welcome to mumsnet, it seems like a really good resource for people to share ideas on.

having the troubles with bf the twins at the mo after it being ok for the first three months things seem to have gone a bit up the whop with their routine and feeding since their 3mth growth spurt so seeking advice!! actually just read that post that you put up with the link so will go and have a look at the link now.....haven't heard of breast compression - imagining it is perhaps REALLY cramming it into them! will go and read now
thanks and look forward to any advice you might have.

lol

I really want to go to my bed but I can't because I'm talking to Jamaica and trying to organise a friggin funeral. I need to source white gloves, a terry nappy cloth and aftershave because that's what he'll need to be buried in. Fortunately my DSis bought him shirts and a suit recently. Who knew! I thought a simple casket, a service and ta ta! But oh no... this monster is growing. Now I have to think about food. Food for a load of ravenous Jamaicans. Sigh........ So I'll be keeping you company Momma and chatting to Electronic in her daylight hours.

My wee weapons are 4 tomorrow. I have about 9 toddlers/children coming over and a puppet show. Fish fingers and chips with jelly and ice cream. Oh bugger! I was going to bake the cake tonight. That'll be the morning job around the cleaner! sigh.... (again)

shabster · 10/02/2008 23:44

Got a big bottle of Carbon White, big pack of crinkle crisps (steak and onion flavour) and a beautiful XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXlarge city shirt on. Even robbie williams would give in to his desires to be here in Bolton with me.

shabster · 10/02/2008 23:48

Marslady - I want to come!!!! Please!! I wont say feck but I will dance, especially if you have the birdie dance song. My sons best friends dad was from St Kitts - the only man ever who appreciated my big, chunky, stickyout bum. I love West Indian men - they appreciate stuff that others dont even think about.

You wont even know Im there.

MarsLady · 11/02/2008 00:23
