MarsLady · 05/02/2008 00:07

Yes we've taken note shabby and you'll find a strong letter of warning in the morning!

shabster · 05/02/2008 00:29

oh shite not again - I have been put on this earth to cause bother at every opportunity!!

Kale nita (greek for night night - see I am proper cultured Marslady) I am not staying in for detention - my mum will be worried about me.

triplets · 05/02/2008 00:30

No no Mars, be kind to her please, she is going to take me pole dancing in Falaraki one day, aren`t you Shabster?

shabster · 05/02/2008 00:32

Only if you are very, very lucky young ladyxx

triplets · 05/02/2008 00:34

But I`ve bought my tassles..........2/6p on ebay!

triplets · 05/02/2008 00:36

Triplets is off to bed with a mental note to wash her tassles!

shabster · 05/02/2008 00:36

Triplet - lets practice - shuffle your feet and move your hands to the following - big fish, little fish, cardboard box. Oh come on triplet you can do it - we just have to have our vests on, navy blue knickers and boogy to the latest gramaphone records you old trout xx

shabster · 05/02/2008 00:39

Triplets - my DH (not darling husband but richard head!!) has offered to wash your tassels. If I am going to get done off Marslady type person I may as well get done for something really good........

shabster · 05/02/2008 00:46

Still spinning round this pole - very lonley up here in the spotlight...................see you all tommorow - and you have to stay with me in Marslady detention x

Egg · 05/02/2008 07:08

LOL, you two have made me smile when I am feeling tired and grumpy this morning. So Shabster you seem to have a lot more in common with Triplets than I realised, incl the nocturnal tendencies!

Lost track of this thread again, I need to post at least four times a day or I am useless in trying to keep up. Starting from now I will make more effort .

Egg · 05/02/2008 07:09

Oooh just saw mention of The Kite Runner. I loved that book, is the film really a match for it? I have not been to the cinema since July 2006 , should I make the effort with this one?

Egg · 05/02/2008 07:14

BTW, is it a bad thing when you start pouring the coffee granules into your mug rather than bothering with a teaspoon?

Egg · 05/02/2008 07:14

Looks like it is my turn to dust the tumbleweed .

Chopster · 05/02/2008 07:40

lol @ shabster.

The Kite Runner looks good, will have to read that.

egg, I tried to make coffee with my fingers yesterday. It sticks to your fingers.

shabster · 05/02/2008 07:45

Dear Mars Lady,

I wish my daughter, Shabster, to be pardoned from detention this evening.

She has always been 'special' and tries to be well behaved.

I do feel you are being a little hard on her. I have found that if you dont make eye contact with her she will eventually go away.

Yours crawlingly
Shabsters Mother (Dorothyster)

MarsLady · 05/02/2008 09:22

What a wonderful mother you have Shabby. Consider yourself pardoned (but if you wish to be truly sure.... I've packed my tassles and am waiting for you to say the plane has arrived).

Well done Egg. More posting from you. Perfect!

Passed messages on to FG.

shabster · 05/02/2008 09:29

Phew - by the skin of my teeth!! Marslady you can only dance on bar street in Falaraki if you have a thong on that matches your tassles! Mine got lost somewhere in my nether regions last June x

estar · 05/02/2008 10:17

Oh what a night! Got ds1,2&3 in bed for 8pm, still hadn't tidied up table and kitchen from tea, but it was time for baby's feed, so sat down to watch an hour's TV, when ds3 appeared at the top of the stairs saying 'I shick', then barfed everywhere. Abandoned baby to go and comfort and shower ds3 while DH got out the carpet hoover-cleaner thing (yes, we bought it while potty-training dts) and tried to clean the stairs, except it stopped working, so there was much expression and noise while he tried to fix it. Got ds3 back in bed, stepped on wet patch on the bedroom floor and turned accusingly to ds2, who, yes, had wet himself (going through some wierd phase at the moment), then climbed back into his bed. Proceeded to discipline and shower ds2 and strip his bed. Remade the bed, went down to screaming hungry baby, started feeding him when ds1 came down to say that ds3 was being sick again. Up, shower child, strip bed, remake bed, remember to clean wet carpet in bedroom, back to hungry baby. Decide to finish internet shopping that I started before tea and the %$@! cable in the back is dodgy, so laptop is flat. Have to plug it in at exactly the right angle to get it to charge up again, then wait till it was safe to pick it up again and finish the shopping. Finally got to bed after midnight (I don't do late nights anymore), then woke up at periodic intervals to feed baby and mop up more sick from ds3, who eventually got into our bed, so now this morning I have to wash pretty much every scrap of bedlinen in the house, still tidy up from last night's tea, and scrub carpet again* because the whole house still smells of vomit.

And if you managed to keep up interest through all that, well done! See you later x

shabster · 05/02/2008 10:27

OMG estar how i remember nights like that! My 3DS was allergic to blackcurrant (we found out much later!) and would cough and cough then run from his room to mine doing purple sick along the way! I still cant drink the dam stuff without being able to smell vomit! Hope today is better xx

shabster · 05/02/2008 10:28

I'm trying to be serious and grown up in case Marslady is about. Going in the bike sheds for a quick cig - let me know if she is on playground duty you lot.

MarsLady · 05/02/2008 10:38

Oh Estar! You poor love. My DTs have got hacking coughs that wake me!!!!! Dt2 got into my bed in the early hours, sneezed in my face 3 times then rolled over and went to sleep! Sigh............

estar · 05/02/2008 11:03
