Awww leo, your boys are all gorgeous, you must be so proud!

hm, that sounds exactly like a day in my life, I'm so glad I'm not the only one.

triplets, your story has made me shudder a bit, I'm planning a child free gettaway at easter - hope mine goes a bit more straightforward, will be the first time without any children in a few years!

Marscentio · 03/03/2007 11:10

You're welcome wilkie (if you're still there)

My hugs are available 24/7 people.

Hello eveyone, hope you are all having a nice lazy saturday, very easy when you have twins i find.....

Mars thank you for sorting the secret baby shower pressie thingy on the may thread! We are very grateful xxx

Leo the babies are gorgeous! I cant wait for mine to come out, although i wont lie im very pleased it will only be one to hug

Am 30 weeks already, it really is flying by. I go a bit wibble at 29 weeks as thats when the twins arrived so am very relieved to have got past it. S #4 tried to come at 32 weeks but they managed to stop him and he ended up being 2 weeks late!!!! Oh you never can tell can you!

FG hope you are feeling better ad dh is around to help out.

HM you sound very calm now, shopping expeditions aside I just get stared at when im out with them all, especially with the huge bump at the moment. Town would be hell....

Triplets LOL at your weekend away, at least it was eventful. Im pretty sure i would have gone to pieces, your girlfriends sound like great fun.

DH doing me a huge fry up today I also did my 2 hour round trip for KK donuts yesterday (and ate 5) so i have those to look forward to later too....am sooooooo gonna regret this aftyer the birth!

DH and i are going to settle down later and wach a load of birth programmes very kindly taped for me by SKYTV on the may thread. I want dh to be prepared to deliver the baby as this is his first he has not even seen a birth yet. Im hoping it wont come to that but Hugs came in 40 mins.....

Am off to stuff my face now (i mean feed the very hungry baby in utero)

Wilkie, I love it when a plan comes together! Great news, a success!! Thanks for letting us know. I have referred to it on and off for the best part of 6 years and it always has something to offer. Glad for her.

Hi everybody, Leo your boys are just gorgeous - their hair is amazing It really is a special time and I wish you all the happiness in the world with them.

Still have the iron bar round my pelvis and up into my back and abdomen. I think I might go back to the doctors and talk again. Madonna wouldn't suffer I'm sure.

Mars, if I snuggle in, will I ever get out? I've heard about feather trimmed nighties and men that are never seen again.........

frumpygrumpy · 03/03/2007 12:16

DP has the DTs down at his mums for an hour. I'm stripping the beds

dingdongjustforyoufg · 03/03/2007 13:20

so that's why I haven't seen DH all day Mars, let him go

Marscentio · 03/03/2007 14:17

lol

there's a mum here in need of some multiple mum support

throckenholt · 03/03/2007 15:30

Hi All, how's everyone.

Progress here - after having swimming lessons once a week since January finally today DTs decided to try kicking their legs rather than just walking across the pool pushing the floats in front of them - and quietly shaking their heads whenever the teacher asked them to do anything . When I take them they kick like lunatics and love jumping in and splashing - you would not believe they are the same kids.

And my task from now until next Christmas (at least) is painting - the extension has finally got that stage (in one room at least) - what fun .....

Overrun · 03/03/2007 16:02

Hi all,
go and kick up a fuss FG.
HM, I was open to all ideas, but have now settled on my menu. Its not very fancy, but will tell you anyway

Anchoiade with goats cheese
Croutons

Potato, Celeriac and Onion
Gratin
Summer peas,
Roast peppers
and baked
Shallots

Summer fruits in a merringue
nest with whipped cream

My menu has come out a bit crap, maybe that will give you all a bit of a laugh
rosmerrin · 03/03/2007 16:45

Yummy Overrun - what time do you want us there?

frumpygrumpy · 03/03/2007 20:34

have you noticed Mars isn't saying much. I reckon she's having trouble keeping one down.........bet she has lemon drizzle on her cleavage too.

cricket · 04/03/2007 03:33

Lovely pictures Leo of all your gorgeous boys....made me teary again! My ds has just the same hat which he wears everywhere too! Good going on the hair front with the twins - lovely to see!

Hope all is well CM - am thinking of you. best place for you etc but appreciate you will find it tough..

Had day from hell with so many rellies ringing up asking if there was any news yet? Stomped around in big strop as there hasn't been anything going on since I had a sweep on Thursday at ante-natal clinic..however, have now got pains and am up in the wee hours again so who knows....

Lunar eclipse was amazing and full moon definitely explains a few weird moods around here....

Marscentio · 04/03/2007 11:06

The lunar eclipse was incredible! I watched the moon turn red and then back again. Amazing!

Was out last night, not salsa. Just a quick meal and too many drinks with some girlfriends.

Did I miss dinner at Overrun's? Bognamit!

How you doing Cricket? When my rellies would continually call me I used to say... oh yes all done and dusted but it was so much fun I've popped them back in ready to go again.

Overrun · 04/03/2007 11:56

the meal went really well, and despite having quite a bit to drink, no hangover, yay

cricket · 04/03/2007 12:42

Still here Mars. Pains went away this morning for a couple of hours and are now back again. Nothing regular yet but nagging nonetheless. Hoping that it's the start of something!

Extremely jealous of nights out and too much to drink...can't wait...might be a year or two though. ho ho.

largeginandtonic · 04/03/2007 13:07

Hello all, hope everyone is well. Cricket have everything crossed for you, really hope you go in to labour soon the waiting drives you mad doesnt it?!

I forgot about the lunar eclipse, doh! Would have been able to see it too as was up with ds# 4, he was sick all night. Am really hoping it isnt another nasty sick and poo bug to go through them all, i feel like ive only just got over the last one

DH gone back to work today too, oh bum. Not for too long this time i hope though, i plan to relocate to Plymouth to have the baby in the Easter hols. The kids will all go to school there temporarily, has been a night mare organising it. I just cant see how i will cope otherwise, dh wouldnt be home till 39 weeks and we have no childcare at all here.

The midwife said she thinks i should really consider a hospital birth this time as Hugs was shoulder dystocia and a bigger baby may not fit through my pelvis. If i was in Plymouth anyway i would make it to hosp (hopefully) as it only 10 mins away, here it can be 40 mins to an hour and Hugs came out in 40 mins! It just seems scarily close......im actually going to have to give birth again, nooooooooooo

Happy sunday to you all xxx

Marscentio · 04/03/2007 23:33

Hi Cricket.... make sure to eat and drink and rest.

lg&t.... I think I'm going to do a quick spot of research for you.

Kelly1978 · 05/03/2007 08:25

Hello everyone!

We've still got the house of poo here. I thought it would be good to get the kids out for some air on sat, so we went to battersea park. Got within a mile of it, and it p*ssed it down so we headed to the science museum instead. Had a good time, headed for home, and dd1 suddenly vomited everywhere! It was even down the side of the drivers seat. Pulled over, had to remove the seats to get the mats out and wash them down. Set off again, 2 miles later, dt1 was sick! Cleaned him up and changed him, set off again. Then ds1 starts wailing he needs the loo, no where to stop. Told him would have to wait and he poos himself! Got him out, held him over a nappy to finish the job, cleaned him up and finally got home at 6.45! Sat down exhausted with a large bacardi and coke. I think these ads must be magic though, I managed to stay totally calm and serene throughout.

The dts got packed off to aunts yesterday, since they seem to be recovering, and dd and ds1 are still off school. I'm now looking at revision for my law exam, nooooo! I really need to pull my finger out, it's at the end of April and I can't remember any of it.

Kelly1978 · 05/03/2007 08:27

I wish I had seen the lunar eclipse now. I think I was probably flaked out in bed. I didn't realise it was going to look all red and pretty, I assumed it would be jsut like seeing a normal half moon or something.

Marscentio · 05/03/2007 08:50

Your revision will go well babe. Just divide it into child-friendly chunks! You know... bits you can do whilst the kids are elsewhere/in bed/in the bath/in front of CBeebies etc.

You go girl!!!!!!!!!!

frumpygrumpy · 05/03/2007 10:20

Kelly, kelly, kelly, tis the season of madness!! You did well my darling, I would most likely have stopped to buy some gin and and a straw

We have workmen in the garden and workmen in the kitchen. My house is a whirl of singing, tea making and drills. I am enjoying their company (none bodice-ripping but lovely all the same), especially the plumber, he is a sweetheart

wonder how long I can keep them.......

frumpygrumpy · 05/03/2007 10:22

Kelly, I thought you were having a break from studying. Why the exam? Please excuse me if I have had my head up a camel's bottom somewhere and have missed something.
