Oh Triplets!!! Ever seen Trains, Planes and Automobiles? What a shame, lie in bed all weekend and demand bacon rolls at houry intervals, except between 12 and 2pm when you will be snoozing. I'll be fine x.

Harrogatemum · 02/03/2007 15:37

Triplets - your story is hilarious!!

Charleymouse - you probably wont read this but you are going to the right place! Good luck with everything.

FG - if its any consolation, I took the whole tribe into town this morning. Even with my Mum with me we had an hour from hell, me pushing the buggy and holding DT1's hand. My Mum running after DT2 who refuses to hold your hand and wont walk next to you but just races off. We were going to get them new shoes. We went to Clarks where we managed to get just one pair for DT2 so then had to hike off to Russell and Bromley for a pair for DT1. DT2 shook all the rows of shoes whilst we were sorting the shoes for DT1 and knocked them all over. Great. Then we went to get passport photos done for them for their Australian passports at Max Spielmann where they ripped up one of the displays. Hooray!!

We finally got them home with a big sigh of relief. My best friend's husband came round with his little boy as my best friend is in hospital with their 2nd baby after having an infection after a CS. Well we decided to go for a walk to the local duck pond. Of course DT2 went running off, DT1 fell in lots of mud, we got some serious evils from a jogger who had to slow down to get past them (and she was fully made up and smelt of perfume, whats that all about?), then to the park where of course there were fights over the swings........then foolishly back home through the wood which was difficult with a Maclaren buggy and trying to stop them falling over tree roots.

Well I made it and am home now shattered.

I have admitted defeat and put Hairy Mclary on DVD for them. Thank god they are quiet and watching it!!

Is it time for a drink yet........?

Ovun · 02/03/2007 15:46

Triplets a hilarious story, brilliant, in fact it puts me in mind of the time I went to Bordeaux with some friends........No, on second thougths I wont go there today, as dont' have the energy I'll save that one for a rainy day
FG, glad that relief is nearly at hand. I actually do get painful periods, although not as bad as you are describing. I am taking a pain killer for them now, which is helping.
HM, sympathies about your trip, sometimes I think to myself "why did I bother", iykwim? Anyway, hope the dvd keeps them occupied for while. The dts have made all ours dirty by getting them out of the machine when they are finished Otherwise I would be doing the same

dingdongjustforyoufg · 02/03/2007 15:59

I am seriously considering opening the bar early tonight, what with it being the weekend and all...G&T anyone?

dingdongjustforyoufg · 02/03/2007 16:25

Marscentio · 02/03/2007 16:46

dingdongjustforyoufg · 02/03/2007 16:55

I was trying to put one up of DS1 as well, but it doesn't seem to be working!

Leoladyofleisure · 02/03/2007 17:14

So in their immortal words, hoop de do!!

throckenholt · 02/03/2007 17:41

awww - so cute - brings back so many memories - particularly as my DS1 was about the same age as your DS1. He is going to have so much fun "heling" you change nappies

MilaMae · 02/03/2007 18:55

Laughed at your story triplets!!!

Ovun · 02/03/2007 19:55

Leo, lovely boys. It takes me back, it really does. Mars, is it too late that hug?
Well, I have to say that I am relieved that it is the weekend
Plan to go off and do some food shopping for the meal I am cooking for friends tomorrow night. I am planning it tonight ( I lurve planning and cooking fancy meals) She only eats fish, and he doesn't like prawns, apart from that I have a blank slate. Open to any suggestions.

rosmerrin · 02/03/2007 22:55

Lovely pictures Leo, what super boys - enjoy!!!

triplets · 03/03/2007 00:12

Bonsoir,
Just got in from our debriefing meeting, re le w/end! All laughed all night, thinking of Istanbul next!

Harrogatemum · 03/03/2007 08:11

Ovun - does it have to be flash - just that I do a very nice and simple fish dish that DH and I had last night...but its not really dinner party fodder!

wilkie50 · 03/03/2007 09:41

Hi All

I posted a few weeks ago about my sister in Manchester and her twins not sleeping.

On her behalf can I just post a massive thank you - the Dr Ferber (sp?) book you recommended was amazing and she now has two settled little girls at night and her and her DH are much much happier.

Thank you so much once again.

xx

Leoladyofleisure · 03/03/2007 10:17

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

I have just written an huge post and managed to delete it all!!!!!!!!

Need to go and have a bit of a sleep now though!

All is calm in the Leo house! A bad night last night with ds1 and dt2 both very unsettled.

Thinking of you CM. Hope you are doing OK!
