alright, but I'm sorry if things dont go as quickly as everyone wants!! When should I go into hosp do you think, just when the pain gets unbearable?

Report
Kelly1978 · 28/11/2006 17:52

I'd agree with that. That's what I did anyway, you don't really want to be in hospital any sooner than you have to be.

We're not rushing it babe. Just enjoying it.

Now...... stop clock watching and let it all happen.

And actually...... if you feel a bit watched by us or even vaguely under pressure to perform then you need do only ONE thing for it all to come good.

I can only echo Mars, HM we're having a laugh but if you feel we are intruding on your time, just ignore us.....we'll post a few times saying "ooooh she's gone in" and then we'll wait patiently until you return. Good luck honey xxx.

frumpygrumpy · 28/11/2006 18:37

And yeah, I'd go in when things hot up a bit. You'll know. It'l be the time you feel it isn't funny any more and you want to feel like someone else is taking responsibility. Now, go get some dinner and watch some telly and leave us to wonder xx.

HM go to hospital when you feel ready. My DD was born within 15 mins of pain getting unbearable, I was just thinking maybe homebirth wasn't a good idea when out she popped. Second midwife didn't have time to get to our house so DH had to step in.

Blimey its really hotting up here, it is fantastic feeling a bit part of it with you HM, but agree with Mars and FG, if it begins to feel like pressure its probably wise that you don't post, we will survive
kelly, so sorry to hear about your sw, it is pretty awful not to let you know. I feel ashamed for my profession, but then there are always rotten apples.
Hope your understandable anger about ssd, doesn't make you feel at all awkward about having me on the thread.

Practising doing my links, I have a thread about dt1's hernia op tomorrow
here it is

Report
largeginandtonic · 28/11/2006 19:29

One of my dts had a hernia op when he was about 5-6 months old. I cant remember most of it {blush] I do know i went to the hospital with both dts and we were home again by that evening. He recovered really quickly. Im sure it was a tiny hernia, the worst bit was him being wheeled off to theatre. I hope it goes ok for you and your ds.

HM hope you have managed a lovely tea and are resting ready for later xxxx

Overrunnerbean · 28/11/2006 19:43

Thanks largeginandtonic, they are keeping him in over night, we were hoping that it would be day surgery so he will be seperated from his twin. They have never spent the night apart, so don't know how that will go down.
Just have this awful fear at the back of my head that something will go wrong

I know I guess, but do you ever have that awful thought about one of the twins dying, and you think to yourself, but they are supposed to be a twin, and suddenly there is only one left. Morbid I know
Doesn't help that dh is not back yet as he is working extra hours so he can take some time off in next couple of days. he still wont be able to be with us on the day of the op though

overrunnerbean............. and......... relax!!

No... I don't let myself think of that. My heart would break from the thought however improbable.

Now........... breathe in................. and out..................... In................. and out.............................

All will be well!
