wow still feeding twns at 2, you are doing well.
I fed mine to 6 mnths, same as my singletons. I then started weanign them off, because I was feeding expressed milk and it was hard going and I hated the leaky boobs! I do miss it though, quite sad to think will never snuggle up to a baby feeding again.

All these pics have made me far too broody!

Overrunderthemistletoe · 14/12/2006 22:21

I'm always broody, but have to put that aside as it aint gonna happen I do enjoy it, and they certainly do, but sometimes I think when is this going to stop

piximon · 15/12/2006 09:24

Doris next weds is fine, I did send an email to the address I have for you with my address and phone number.
Has there been a problem with the site? I couldn't get on earlier and now the pages look very strange.

dingdonglapinroseonhigh · 15/12/2006 09:35

The site has changed hasn't it - its all a bit close together I think, hurts my eyes, must be getting old!

Kelly1978GotRunOverByAReindeer · 15/12/2006 10:03

its bloody horrible. Why when something works do people have to change it. It's sooo ugly.

I got about 4 hours sleep last night, I am so tired. The bys woke up at 4 and didn't go back to sleep until gone 6. Pests! I'm droppign them off to family for tonight, or I'll never get through the after school routine.

ThrockenAroundTheChristmasTree · 15/12/2006 10:13

I wsa going to post about putting our twin photos on a website - but the new layout has confused me so much my brain hurts.

Anyway - leave a note here if you want to put a photo up - then I will set it up and sort out a link

dingdonglapinroseonhigh · 15/12/2006 10:16

oh kelly poor you, hope you manage to get some rest later

The site changes seem to be improving a bit, not hurting my head quite so much now...

FrumpytheGrumpyreindeer · 15/12/2006 10:38

OOOh , did I have a party last night or did someone do something nasty to our room?

Right, who's about? Going to try one more time.......before I lay my life in Kelly's hands

FrumpytheGrumpyreindeer · 15/12/2006 11:14

dingdonglapinroseonhigh · 15/12/2006 11:17

FrumpytheGrumpyreindeer · 15/12/2006 11:21

Hi dingdong! Tried to put my picture on but now MN seem to have mislaid the button for adding one in - I am cursed!! I'm off to eat worms in a sulk. This layout is not working for me. See you later x.

FrostyTheSnowMarsLady · 15/12/2006 11:22

Hiya... very quick hi cos I'm working and trying to find something out!

Any of you know anything about the homeopathic remedy aconite?

Anyhoo........ Overrun........ what lovely boys! Almost fell over when I saw the link under FGs name lol, especially knowing how she feels about cyber space.

So........... only here for mere moments... but not keen on the new layout. Makes me squint and frown!

DD....... will sort where this weekend. But over at Pixi's or nearby as she's the least mobile of us!

largevirginbirthandtonic · 15/12/2006 13:12

Hello all, well done Mars!!!

Kelly you must be pooped, it is such a killer when they dont sleep. I have been desperately trying to get ds #4 to sleep in his bed at night... He only woke once last night so im hopeful im winning the battle

Our bloomin digital camear has broken, we have sent for replacement broken bit and it will hopefully arrive before xmas. Will post some piccies then of the brood.

We have just watched the dts in their nativity assembly this morning, shepherd and wanderer, very cute. Thats it for the plays now...phew. Only monday and tuesday till 2pm left at school, i cant wait till they are all finished.

Fg i had the mirena coil, the doctor told me it would be a miracle cure. I had it after dd and 6 months later had it taken out as it just made me bleed for 6 months! I have heard success stories though so hopefully it will be ok for you.

The ball weekend was fab...it was soooo nice not to wake with a hangover. It was very posh, lots of very puffy dresses and "what, what's " Im having a chilled out time at home as dh is cleaning, cooking and nappy changing...bliss. Im going to be lost again in january when he goes again Xmas Sad

I still have about 15 KK's left but im working on that... They are so delicious...mmmmmmmmm

FrumpytheGrumpyreindeer · 15/12/2006 13:54

tis boring now

Kelly, I can't give up, its under my skin!!! When I click on upload it just keeps bringing up a box saying the page cannot be displayed......any thoughts?

dingdonglapinroseonhigh · 15/12/2006 14:22

I think either its to do with the site being rejigged OR the pic is too big

I'll see if I can put one up

dingdonglapinroseonhigh · 15/12/2006 14:23

no I can't page can't be displayed, so its not you fg its the stupid site

largevirginbirthandtonic · 15/12/2006 15:45

Stupid site....just thought id join in....

Nothing to report here i have definately not eaten 4 KK donuts today. No sireeeee Bob, not a maple one for brekkie, a choc cake one for elevenses or a cinnamon powdered sugar apple filled one and absolutely not a custard filled choc topped piece of heaven this afternoon....

dingdonglapinroseonhigh · 15/12/2006 16:00

oh sounds like heaven LVB&T

dh has just taken the DTs out to get a christmas tree, so am enjoying a bit of peace before the overexcitement kicks in when they get back. Site seems to be just the same as before now

Kelly1978GotRunOverByAReindeer · 15/12/2006 17:39

oh I'm hungry now. I love the maple and choc cake ones, they are my favs. Do you put them in the micro sot hey are all hot a gooey...

largevirginbirthandtonic · 15/12/2006 18:32

Microwave.... >

Overrunderthemistletoe · 15/12/2006 19:53

Hi every one, well done Mars, sorry you got so little sleep Kelly, Largegin, sorry about your camara.

On my own tonight, but may not have time to chat much because of
of this

HarktheHarrogateMumisSinging · 16/12/2006 16:50

this might be a bit unfestive - but looking for other peoples experiences.....after I had the twins I had completely stopped bleeding after 2 weeks (sorry to bring down the atmosphere with medical talk!!), Maddy is now 2.5 weeks old and its really heavy still, do you think I need to see a doctor?

Been feeling very low as well, after talking about how everything was going really well. Its very difficult to cope with three when you are on your own during the week. FG I dont know how you do it, I just feel like its groundhog day every day and that I cannot cope with it.

DorisSingsAreYouListening · 16/12/2006 19:55

HM - I've lowered the tone a few times (I think the garlic one was the worst, but the pile treatment may be up there too) so I wouldn't worry! I bled for 10 weeks after DD, but only 5 weeks or so with the DTs, and it was very light. This time round I didn't do so much going out and chasing around as I did with DD - are you having to be very busy? Maybe that's why it's continuing? If you're concerned I would go see the doc immediately, or ring your midwife, particularly as it's Christmas next week. I can quite understand the concern - I had a bit of a chopped liver moment about 1.5 weeks after DD was born (read slithery blood clot) and was hysterical for the rest of the night until I saw the midwife the following day. You could also try NHS Direct, but I reckon a midwife would be quicker/better. Hope that helps. Also know how you feel about doing kids on your own - I've only coped so well this time because I've had lots of friends over to help. Can you get some friends round to cook/clean up for you at least once a week? Gives you something to look forward to. If you can get single/childless friends. Most people love to be asked, I've discovered.

Pixi - I've checked my email and I have the details. Is morning OK? I think Mars was available in the morning. I'm not likely to turn up before 10.30 (I find that if I aim for 10 I may get where I'm going by 10.30...). Sounds great!

Sorry about everyone's sleep deprivation, and non-sleeping children. I'm with FG on the repeat, repeat, repeat, bore them witless routine. It's worked with DD and so far is teaching the DTs what they're supposed to do (I know they're still only little and have many months/years to be nightmares yet!).

Kelly - I'd love to pop in one day! You're south west of London aren't you? In which case you're on my way to South East London where the PILs are! I'll let you know next time I'm on my way up!

Best go talk to DH who is being a little pissey tonight because he's tired. Been in the shop all day. And then came home to a daughter who wanted to talk to him! And two small boys who cried... Such a hard life. That's why I'm upstairs here, and he's down with the TV... Hey ho, must be diplomatic woman... Lucky I did politics at uni.

Is this long? Again? Surely not!

dingdonglapinroseonhigh · 16/12/2006 20:15

Oh HM you poor thing, it sound hard - I have to say that's the main reason we decided twins was enough for us! I'm sure you are coping brilliantly, if you're anything like me you will need to be forced to sit and do nothing for a while and let the washing & ironing mount up a bit, live on ready meals for a while (incidentally, when the DTs were born we had our xmas lunch courtesy of tesco finest, it was quite delicious!) and just accept the fact that you need time to get used to it all. I think having 2yr old twins running around and a nb in the house must be incredibly hard. I will come and see you and cheer you up if you like

dingdonglapinroseonhigh · 16/12/2006 20:17

btw not sure about the bleeding, only the one experience and bleeding wise it wasn't that bad, I would see doc or mw if you're concerned though, better safe than sorry x
