Morning, Shabs xx

I'm playing Ice Hockey today!! Cannot wait to get in my gear and on the ice. Getting as much time as I can on the ice as I don't know if there will be one close in Germany!

shabbatheGreek · 14/10/2013 08:43

By the Christ - ice hockey - are you mad woman Grin

My 'undercarriage' still hurts from delivering my twins and they will be 32 just after Xmas.

......and my 'plumbing' is still not working properly

MultipleMama · 14/10/2013 09:51

DH thinks I'm mad but he married me so he has no point to argue. Haha. Besides I'm only in the net and I can help lose what's left off my baby weight :)

I feel fine, a few twinges during certain after hours activites. My 'undercarriage' is back to normal. It's had it's MOT! However we've decided to give my body a break for about a year. My consultant agrees as not only have I had 3 PGs in 3 years but 2 sets of twins in under 2 years. We've discussed #7 but when DH starts planning dates I glare and he stops haha. Far too soon to be discussing that!

:D

Currently have a Queen sing off with DH in the car. Currently he's winning 2:1 damn him and his good vocals. Yesterday, he sang "I want to break free" while holding Artey and dancing around the cot with her. The nurses think he's a hoot. One of the most upbeat irritating fathers on the ward!

bubby64 · 14/10/2013 22:25

Mama - I totally agree with shabs, you both need those fashionable jackets with sleeves that belt up at the back!!Shock Grin Shock
Trips - glad you had a good party, sod your dkWink
slightly better news re job - union rep pointed out to me I work on a job share basis, so, since they have already said they don't want to shut our dept down, they can't easily get rid of just one of us, all they can do is say the jobs hours are reduced . It may piss off my job share colleague, but I have decided to stick my heels in and say even if they reduce the hours, I still want my 1/2 of them, as reduced hours are better than no hours at all!

triplets · 14/10/2013 22:54

Now Mama, being the oldest and the wisest on here Wink I need to give you a good talking to.
So soon after giving birth to your fragile babes you go ice skating? Who is going to look after 6 children if you end up in plaster?
Hanky panky already and thinking of number 7? Are you insane woman?
I am sure there will be an ice rink in Germany, when your poor young body has rested and recovered!
Btw why did your dh have to have voice surgery, nothing serious I hope?
I don`t know Mama, I thought I had packed a lot into my life, you make me feel down right idle.................do you ever stop?

There endeth my sermon................for tonight :o

shabbatheGreek · 15/10/2013 06:44

Morning girls xx

triplets · 15/10/2013 06:50

Good morning Shabs............morning girls........its sooo dark this morning.................boo hoo, miss those lovely sunny mornings, they were here only two weeks ago! Off to lunch with my brothers today as its Barrys big 60!

MultipleMama · 15/10/2013 10:20

#7 has been diascussed but will not happening any time soon.I'm listening to my consultant on this one. He's done me good this past year :) I wasn't playing a match just attending a practice, so was doing exercises and a few in net nothing defensive that required physical contact. And cleared by my consultant too, told not to overdo but practice is okay.

DH had cysts on his vocal chords end of last year but they had caused irriation and scarring before they were removed. He's fine now but he had to have speech therapy and vocal training.

Running late to the hospital as the twins are exetremely cranky and wouldn't sleep with the boob. Praying that Apollo is a little more awake today, I wanna ses his beautiful eyes :) xx

MultipleMama · 15/10/2013 14:28

Why do we keep medicines and the lark in the top cupboard away from children but have bleach, washing liquid under the sink in reach... K figured out how to open the child locks last night. Smart little bugger.

FIL sent me a few pictures today. He's completed K & A's rooms and BIL has finished the bathroom (we now have jacuzzi bathtub!) and has started on the kitchen with friend :) so lucky to have a supportive family xx

There's no change with Apollo but Artemis's has gained 5oz! She's now 3lb 6oz :) Happy 2 week birthday babies :)

triplets · 15/10/2013 22:56

Well done England!! What a match, now go to wait until next June! Had a lovely time today, I am so lucky to have such lovely brothers :)

MultipleMama · 16/10/2013 00:05

Good day for us, too, trips. Germany are through to the '14 cup! :) Not really a fan on football but DH's DF and DB are so we gotta keep up haha. Glad you had a good day.

Long day today. Night ladies.

shabbatheGreek · 16/10/2013 06:49

Morning girls xx

Sokmonsta · 16/10/2013 07:49

  • physical and metaphorical.

Ah! There you are Grin

Morning ladies.

Mama. Hope Apollo showed you his beautiful eyes.

Don't understand football, it's lost on me. Great British bake off on the other hand...

Today is lunch with mother dear, tomorrow is dh's birthday. Awkward sod doesn't want/need anything so it's been challenging coming up with a gift for him. Which so far is nothing from me and nice coffee from the dc. He's forgotten I paid for tickets to see Mickey flannigan next month so I could argue that's his birthday treat... And then I'll make him a cake later. He's out tonight so gives me plenty of time.

What's everyone's plans today?

Crap. Missing text is 'peering through the dog'. I always manage to do that accidentally.

Morning ladies.

Me too, Sok. I really thought Ruby would be the one to go this week. She looks so miserable and her effort looked half assed. Can't wait for the final.

Apollo still hasn't opened his eyes for me and nurses said he hasn't either just that sleeps or kicks his legs. It's his surgery tomorrow. So trying to cram as much visiting in as possible.

Sokmonsta · 16/10/2013 10:16

Dog?? FFS fog.

Keeping you all in our thoughts ready for tomorrow mama.

Yes. Ruby's presentation was appalling. I was shocked she went through. Honestly thought this would be her last week. Think I get more worked up about gbbo than X factor!

MultipleMama · 16/10/2013 14:11

Same here. I like emily she's so creative but I have hunge that other lady will win. I can't remember her name. My favourite was the scientist and his octopus bread!

Artemis has been such a lively madam today. Always sticking her tongue out and flapping about like a fish. She's gunna be show a lively baby once she's home :)

bubby64 · 16/10/2013 21:21

Hi all.
Mama - prayers going out for little Apollo for his surgery. Great to hear Arty is doing so well
Misty, rainy day here today. Got my hair cut and coloured, birthday pressie from DH, Mike made bolognase sauce at school, so that sorted tea, and boys insisted on me opening their presents tonight instead of tomorrow, as I'm working. J got me a beautiful enamel frog on lilypad keyring (I collect frogsGrin ) and M got me a nice necklace, both of which they choose and paid for themselves. They also had DH buy a cake, which we had tonight. They had also decorated the living room for me.
Got my choir concert Friday, where I have a solo, so bricking it!

MultipleMama · 16/10/2013 21:34

DH is staying overnight in the parents room as it's Apollo's surgery. I would too but the twins are restless and breast feeding them is the only thing that's bringing comfort to them (I think they sense my unease and worry). I'll be going up in the morning and DH has the day off work, DF has offered to do the school/nursery run. Surgery is a 10am. Think positive thoughts for us and little A :)

MultipleMama · 16/10/2013 21:36

Happy birthday, bubs!! X

shabbatheGreek · 16/10/2013 23:38
