Morning! Since its a sunny day here I thought I'd say sunny hellos. Unless of course anyone else has beat me to it and I've missed the new thread.

MultipleMama · 11/10/2013 15:56

Evening ladies.

Packing up some our stuff for Germany and I came across notes exchanged between DH and I dated 7 years ago along with a CD that DH made of him singing my favourite songs. I put in the CD and now I'm a blubbering mess. I love when DH sings to me and the DC. I may persuade him to connect with hia old school friends in Germany and put their band together.

Couldn't hold Apollo today but they've approved DH's hold tonight. I cannot wait to witness it :) Apollo is having his PDA surgery next Thursday! So scared.

Artemis is now on SCBU and doing well. Kills me to have to divide my time even more but if it means they're getting stronger and she's almost home. I don't care :)

bubby64 · 11/10/2013 18:36

Trips- I agree with all the others, a swift kick in the meat and 2 veg is very much deserved!
Shabs- agree about the cold wet weather, I hate it too.
Mama- glad a cuddle is on the cards. I know the thought of surgery is scary, but these little ones are much stronger than we give them credit for.
Chops, if you are going for a winter holiday, can you pack me in your suitcase, mind you, it would have to be a very large one to fit me inGrin
Soks - I did hamhock in honey and clove glaze tonight, with baked potato and leeks- cold weather winter food!

bubby64 · 11/10/2013 18:38

Mama- DH singing to me is what made me realise I was in love with him - He sang the Matt Monroe song "Around the World" the old romantic, he has a very good singing voiceSmile

MultipleMama · 11/10/2013 18:57

DH has an amazing voice but doesn't like to shout about it anymore. He lost a bit of confidence after voice surgery but he's slowly realising he can sing just as he did before.

He sang "Ain't no sunshine" for me on our first date. He now sings it to the kids at bedtime. Cheesy as it sounds it was love at first sight. For me anyway - I was persistant Wink

Morning everyone...........yes having my Sat lie in! Awake since 6am with a mouth as dry as the bottom of a budgies bird cage! Serves me right, bit too much vino.............I was abit disappointed with the food, my cooker is playing up, thermostat has gone on one oven and the other on gets too hot and I had to keep turning it down, juggling stuff around. Still girls seemed to enjoy it and puds were cleared! Trouble is dk gets tired and by 11pm he starts throwing out the cat and rattling milk bottles etc, course we took a lot of notice and last friend left at 12.30am!

Glad you enjoyed yourself last night despite your dodgy ovens. Wink

I had planned to have lie in DH and DF had planned to take the DC to the park with the dog but the twins woke up screaming and clingy at 5am so that was my lie in over! Today's plan of attack is park, arts n crafts, Library and then hopefully DH & I can head to the hospital if not, we'll head just head up tonight.

DH held Apollo last night and his alarm went off which freaked the hell out of us especially DH. His heart rate had dropped but after adding another blanket it starts to climb back... so weird! Other than that their hour together was perfect :)

triplets · 12/10/2013 07:57

Had a lovely lie in (once I ignored the 3yo laying on top of me 'cuddling').
Just off to get up now I suppose.

Tonight I'm making Vegetable stew seasoned with Rosemary and then top it off with garlic dumplings.

Sunday ras

MultipleMama · 12/10/2013 10:41

Damn phone.

Trying to get the twins to eat more cooked veg rather than just sticks with sauce so hoping hiding them in gravy with dumplings will do the trick!

Tomorrow for Sunday roast I'm gunna make roasted veg & goats cheese wellington Cinnamon honey Roasted root veggies then Whole wheat Chocolate Coconut donuts for desset hope that will tempt them to eat their lunch and try different things!

I'm gunna make us all fat. Kids are doing crafts... what should I do?! Haha.

bubby64 · 12/10/2013 11:51

I had my lie in as well! dh took his car in for MOT again, hope it passes this time,
Trips, glad you enjoyed yourself despite DK's not so subtle hints. perhaps you can gently remind him that of course, older people need more sleep, so he can go to be early on his ownGrin Grin
Ruby- nice to see you, dont worry, you can drop in whenever you canWink
Mama- that little tyke is keeping you all on your toes, isn't he.Wink

MultipleMama · 12/10/2013 13:46

Bubs - hope th x

MultipleMama · 12/10/2013 13:59

Stupid, stupid phone! Bloody posting before I'm done.

As I was trying say...

Bubs - I hope the car passes it's test! And the little tyke does like to keep us on his toes. I swear he waits until we're there and then plays tricks on us. Was talking to the nurse and say he's usually asleep and hardly any trouble. DH thinks he's on a Vendetta!

Sok- Ahh those 'cuddles' which basically means lets jump on mummy and wake her up. Only my kids fall back asleep and leave me awake. Once I jumped on K's bed and woke him up. Needless to say he wasn't impressed but his expression was so worth the 10 minute tantrum at 6am!

triplets · 12/10/2013 23:36

I am sooo tired after last night but no chance of getting any sleep, Rebecca has her friend here and they sooo noisy, must have asked them a dozen times to be quiet. She wonders why I usually say no to sleepovers!

triplets · 13/10/2013 07:31

Morning..............eventually all quiet just after 1am........why are girls so much noisier than boys? Of course they`ll be in bed until mid-day. Got some baking to do, my brothers 60th birthday bash tonight.....ovens dodgy so its going to be fun!

MultipleMama · 13/10/2013 07:44

Good morning. Today I woke up to find the house quiet like too quiet. And I woke up alone. Weird. Looked out the window and found them all in wellies and winter gear splashing in the puddles and mud. Guess who'll be put in charge of cleaning them up...

Think I may indulge in a long shower and actually make myself look decent or maybe I should just put on my coat and wellies and go join them... yeah I'll do that Grin

Sokmonsta · 13/10/2013 10:17

Morning.

Lots of rain here this morning. Twins back down for a nap and bigs arguing over silly things.

Roast lamb for dinner. Mmmm

MultipleMama · 13/10/2013 14:54

Took me over an hour to clean 4 flithly children and dress them. We had a 5 way shower so I could clean too and save time. They had so much fun.

Dinner was a success the boys loved the goats cheese :) however I did drop the tray of roast Veg when I felt a phantom kick in my stomach. Scared me half to death! Luckily I prepared extras. Also the vegan donuts turned out pretty good too.

We're going leaf/conker/acon picking after the twins wake up so they can make pictures to hang in the A-teams woodland themed nursery (germany home). I'm more excited than them.

Off to see the A-team at 8pm. Can't wait for Artie's cuddles :)

bubby64 · 13/10/2013 16:33

Car didn't passSad silly things such as indicator light too pale (old lens, colour has faded), washer not working( one tube needed replacing) and back brake sticking (needs grease on mechanism) All easy to fix, but bits needed to be ordered. Never mind, it's an old car Nissan micra 1998, but easy and cheap to fix and run, we hope it will have a couple more years life in it yet.
DH went out last night with an old mate, didn't get home til past midnight, but, due to his AS he has so few real friends, it was nice he was enjoying himself. Mind you, he now realises that with the things they used to get up to together in the bike club , he is lucky he is still alive! Regularly 130mph down Colchester bypass with pillion passenger, trying to get from 1 pub to another before closing time!

triplets · 13/10/2013 23:01

Evening ladies, just back from the birthday bash, loud loud disco, pleased kids but not dk....................wo o black Betty shal lam lam......wo o black Betty shal lam lam :o...........I had a good time :o

MultipleMama · 14/10/2013 06:26

Aw glad you and kids had fun Trips!

Still can't have any more holds of Apollo just yet. He's still needing the ventilator to do most of the work for him, his infections are still there but his Grade 2 is slowing down. Oh and he lost another oz. Sigh.

Artey is doing great, her oxgyen is still needed on a night but her feeding is coming on great and her cuddles are amazing!

At least you can fix the car, bubs
MOTs can be so nit picky about things.
