Morning! Since its a sunny day here I thought I'd say sunny hellos. Unless of course anyone else has beat me to it and I've missed the new thread.

I loved every minute of mine, the atmosphere in the delivery room was so lovely, there were a team of 10 for each baby! Its a day I`d love to re-live :)

Chopstheduck · 30/09/2013 14:09

I loved my section too! Seemed so serene, especially after the efford of pushing Jack's big head out a few years earlier Grin (He was 9lb 7!) Good luck with it mama, will be keeping everything crossed for you and the dts.

MultipleMama · 30/09/2013 14:11

Hope ours is lovely. We've discussed it and we've asked for the least amount of people in the room as possible; I hate having crowds of people around me, staring at me. We've asked for DH to watch & photo the delivery if possible but told the Doctor who's preforming the ELC that we want to be told their breathing and I want to see them even if it's just a glance.

I know it's pointless planning but it eases my mind knowing I have some things in place.

Chopstheduck · 30/09/2013 14:30

tbh i didn't really notice all the other people that were around. But I did have this gorgeous anesthetist with the sexiest voice ever, and I was only really concentrating on him! SmileGrin

MultipleMama · 30/09/2013 15:13

Chops - Let's hope I get a sexy one too Grin

Chops I had the most sexy anesthetist (can`t spell that word) too, his name was Howard and kept stroking the back of my hand

shabbatheGreek · 30/09/2013 23:20

Danny born first (already had the dreaded epidural in place) - head first with the help of those massive old fashioned forceps that I think aren't used anymore!!! 14 minutes later Gareth arrived - feet first...saw his tiny, very blue feet before the rest of him!!!

Morning girls xx

MultipleMama · 01/10/2013 07:53

Just a quick little message before everything goes chaotic and will update before I head to bed tonight.

This morning I welcomed two beautiful babies into the world :)

Sokmonsta · 01/10/2013 12:35

Congratulations mama. I hope all is well with you and your babies. Love and best wishes xxx

Posted their birth story during lunch. Gotta wait for my consultant to check me over before heading up to see them. They're so beautiful.

Oh, we named them Artemis Sophia and Apollo Sevastyan :)

shabbatheGreek · 01/10/2013 13:25

Congratulations, wishing you and your precious babies all the luck in the world. Smile x

triplets · 01/10/2013 17:39

Wow Mama what a surprise Shock hope you are ok, oh boy !!

MultipleMama · 01/10/2013 17:56

DH is with them now as I scoff my face with food. I'm worn out and overwhelmed. Apollo is so tiny is hand is the size of DH's fingernail. The machines are everywhere and the ventilator is awfully big :( Artemis likes to scrunch her face and kick her leg while sleeping. I held her today:) so precious and fragile. I never knew how much time and care it took just to place her on my chest. DH has already decorated their incubators with Halloween stuff.

Thanks for all well wishes xx

Chopstheduck · 01/10/2013 18:41

Congratulations Mama!! Big welcome to Apollo and Artemis xxx

shabbatheGreek · 01/10/2013 20:56

Mama - I know I am very nosey BUT why have your relatives collected placentas and cords? yes I am being nosey - sorry.

MultipleMama · 01/10/2013 21:04

Not my relatives, my friend. My dad just made the call. She makes hearts out of the dried cords and she makes the placentas into Raw encapsulations :)

shabbatheGreek · 01/10/2013 22:14

Shock I have never heard of that before - interesting stuff!!

Wow Mama, how exciting, wonderful news, and lovely namesSmile Fingers crossed that your little ones continue to fight on and improve. I know how you feel about how big all the equipment looks, I remember it from my 2, but you will be surprised how soon you start to almost ignore it when concentrating on your babies.

bubby64 · 02/10/2013 00:26

Well, despite some very trying times and frequent disagreements, today dh and I have madevit to our 24th wedding anniversary. Lets hope gor at least 14 more!

bubby64 · 02/10/2013 00:27

Miss typing there, should be 14th, not 24th!!!

shabbatheGreek · 02/10/2013 06:50

Morning girls xx Happy Anniversary Mr & Mrs Bubbs Smile xx

triplets · 02/10/2013 06:54

Goodmorning and congratulations Bubby Thanks
How are you all this morning Mama, hope you got some sleep. Must say that was TMI for me about the cords etc put me off my b/fast! I am surprised they let dh decorate with Halloween stuff, they were sooo strict in our SCUBA unit with the tiny tiny ones. Better get up, boys are off sailing in Dover harbor and is very windy!
