shabbapinkfrog · 27/10/2010 12:35

just got back from Manchester - oh its a god forsaken city......all piggin' new buildings and hardly anyone who speaks Mancunian, except for one or two tramps hanging around!!! Bus journey takes 25 mins from bolton to Manchester - except for this morning when it took over an hour Shock The kids have gone into Bolton shopping and Im going to meet them there later and do the horrendous journey back into Manchester. Paige and Tom did the lovers run to each other and there was lots of girly screams and giggling going on - and that was just Tom!! x

I AM KNACKERED!!

HarrogateMum · 27/10/2010 18:12

Sounds like fun Shabs. Are you back yet. Is he lovestruck!??

shabbapinkfrog · 27/10/2010 19:41

We walked out of the house at 8.30 this morning and walked back in at 6.30 this evening. The kids have had a whale of a time - when Paige's coach left Tom had a good cry. He is exhausted and has coped without me all day - took them into Bolton by himself and did everything right. He is a little star xx

TopsyAndTimsMum · 27/10/2010 19:49

update please shabs

Went to town this morning, my mum had a mamogram but threw a strop about waiting so long and left without it being done Angry.

Then dh picked me up and we went to the forest. Was great, they had a bonfire and loads of tents with free activities Smile. Then dd1 got a lot of sand in her eye (thanks ds1) and needed treating by st. john's ambulance angel.

Having much needed day at home tomorrow, before family descend fri/sat.

TopsyAndTimsMum · 27/10/2010 19:50

lol shabs you beat me to the post!

triplets · 27/10/2010 22:23

So, here we all are...........well some of us! Shabs sounds stressful all this first love malarky, how will I cope with three??? So far not one has shown any interest in the opp sex, don`t think I could cope. We have been really busy today, lots to do before the op, then 6 weeks recovery, then Christmas so we need to get organized, been clearing out sheds to make space etc.Troble is the kids have just sat glued to either tv, ps2 or lap-top and boy have they fought and screamed at each other all day, trouble is if we take them out as we did on Mon they seem just as bad. Imagine what next week is going to be like on my own, with three trips to London? Life aint easy! What part did Derkster play today Shabs? Glad Tom had such a fab time:)

shabbapinkfrog · 27/10/2010 22:47

Derk stayed home alone and breathed in and out Hmm

triplets · 27/10/2010 22:49

That was useful of him Shabs Hmm

Today has been awful, lots of stress, just settled in my bed, boys still shouting, then Becca shouted out, runs to bathroom and has been sick..................I should feel sympathetic but somehow find it hard tonight, bad mummy!

Hmm Oh how wonderful for you Trips!!!!

Tom has the travel bug now LOL - he is going to my parents house on the bus its about a 20 minute bus ride. My Dad thinks its amazing that I have 'let him loose' but my Mum is not so sure!!

Tom has wanted a hat for ages???? Yesterday the kids went to the massive Primark in Manchester - he bought Paige a tshirt and bought himself a 'pork pie' hat - he looks very cute in it - and, dont y'know - Paige chose it for him Grin

triplets · 28/10/2010 08:38

refuse to get up.....too long a day and feel sicky..............bliss! Tom has blossomed Shabs, and well done to you, letting him take his little first steps alone is a big stride for you.........I understand xx

Hellooo, I brought some pecan danishes. Anyone?
I can't see any sign of Philip glenister around. Did I miss him?
My friends and I all had a laminated list of 5 people that we were allowed to shag make wild abandoned love to after we were married with full consent of DH's (they had thheir own predictably Kylie-led ones). It seems that us girls are right weirdos:
Mine were Dan Snow, Prof Brian Cox (ex D-ream etc), Jeff Goldblum, Matthew Maconoughey and John Taylor from Duran Duran.

If lotts has happened since this morning I apologise- I started writing this at 10am and got waylaid.

Who would be on your list?

HarrogateMum · 28/10/2010 17:21

Colin Firth - 5 times over.

A bit shit all round but at least we got out of the house! Off up to Nooooo-castle tomorrow to see friends, DINGDONG if you are lurking I will wave at you on my way past....
