Its never too late Rubester! Think of all the wasted talent of us sah mums, trouble is fitting it in with kids, school etc, my dh could cope in the evenings so I could become a buxom bar maid or a personal escort, what d`y think Shabs seeing as you have seen me in r/l?:o

OP posts:
shabbapinkfrog · 01/03/2011 14:32

Oooohhh I reckon personal escort - but only to very tall, very young, very handsome men Grin

.....they also have to be able to say 'Oh dear, would one care to fark off!!'

HarrogateMum · 01/03/2011 18:54

Evening girls....................feeling really really upset, fat beyond belief, hate my neck which seems to have aged o/night and got a very itchy rash on my leg which is driving me insane. My beautiful daughter I have heard is being bullied at school, she has not been herself for about 4 weeks, really worried about her, up to London tomorrow to get the results from the lung surg, it could be brill or really bad................just fed up with it all atm, advice please re bullying:(

shabbapinkfrog · 01/03/2011 23:02

Oh shite poo Trips. I left paper and a pen in Toms room - I told him to write down how he was feeling about school. I was also allowed to write things on the paper but not allowed to tell everybody what he had put. It worked for us, very well. Maybe worth a try.

I think you should go and see the Pastoral officer at school. Bullying is the most revolting thing. When you have talked to Rebecca - I would keep her thoughts and feelings between you so she will gain your trust.

Just hugs and talking I think - my dear friend.

Good luck for tomorrow xx

triplets · 01/03/2011 23:19

Hi Shabs, I like the pen and paper idea, will give that a try. Its so worrying isn`t it? Now what can I do about my neck:o

Tweedledum and Tweedledee????????

On a more serious note we went to Kings today for DH result after the lung surgery. We knew the tumour they removed was malignant, but we were worried about the excess fluid which could contain new cancer cells. Well its all clear no evidence of cancerous anywhere, yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Next hurdle is full body ct scan on Frid, result on the 17th. I found today incredibly stressful, waiting to hear the news, travelling on the train, waiting and waiting for trains that were delayed or cancelled.Left London at 3pm and got back to our station at almost 8pm, then had to fly and pick up kids as James had a meeting at school about his options for gcse, got in the hall just as they were finishing! So a long day, full of tension, started off with me going up to school to talk about the suspicions I have that Rebecca is being bullied. So we had the best news..............then why are we both so low, snappy with each other when we should have been celebrating? I don`t understand why I feel so dead inside.

Trips - so glad to hear about the all clear. The human brain is a very complicated thing isin't it? It holds years and years of memories. It plays tricks on us. It says to us 'how fantastic that my hubby has got the all clear BUT......now I have to deal with the worry of my three teenagers. I have to sort out their problems. I have to be in their corner. Then the brain says - what if we go to the next appointment and they say 'well we did give you the all clear but now this problem has come up!!'

Dont think all that travelling helps at all. Your nerves must be shot to bits. Not wanting to be late for the appointment, fretting about the children and are they all OK. etc etc etc

One day at a time sweetheart and worry about stuff when you have to. Try not to cross 'those bridges' long before you get to them. Wish I could help out in some way xxx

Trips - Summer will soon be here. You are not turning into your Mum - you are wading through the crap mud that life chucks at us - and, IMO, doing a bloody good job xxx
