Fingers crossed for all of us needing/wanting big wins. I'm away this evening so if Agent Millions knocks later the chances are that the DC won't even answer the door!

unicornhair · 31/08/2023 15:59

I hate these last days waiting for the results! I struggle to stay up to midnight but might try as it’s a Friday this time.

Ambleen · 31/08/2023 17:17

Thank you Defiantlynot41

Coldbit · 31/08/2023 17:38

I always say I'll wait for the app results but I always end up checking the list the day before

Swarmingbees · 31/08/2023 23:00

Am just wondering what is the largest win anyone has admitted to on any of these threads.

My largest ever win is £100 and I have had Bonds since I was born !!

Escapingtherealityoflife · 31/08/2023 23:48

I won £1250 one month but it was made up of several smaller wins.

One of the £1 million winners only bought their bonds in April!

Mine was £225 - made up of lots of bonds. I don't think I've ever won more than £100 on an individual bond. Somebody got something like £25k a few months ago I seem to remember. That's a lovely amount. Enough to make a big difference to one's life but not so much that you would feel uncomfortable telling people about your win.

FiveShelties · 01/09/2023 02:59

Sadly I do not feature on the list - hoping for lots of smaller wins tomorrow.

Hi I've just wakened up and had a nosey! Think this is August's list unless I'm still half asleep?!

Frances0911 · 01/09/2023 04:41

I've got £3,000 going spare, is it worth investing in premium bonds, what's the most I could possibly get back?

OneFrenchEgg · 01/09/2023 04:51

Ok I gave in and looked. Something i noticed is that in the right hand column which is the amount purchased that 'won' as opposed to total holding, it's almost always £5000 plus. I only ever buy £100-£500 at a time usually monthly. Should I maybe wait and buy a bigger amount less often...

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/09/2023 06:44

Weird it says aug in above link but def sept winners

On £3k you won’t get loads back to be fair but I like it as it’s a fun place to keep some savings. On £3k you won’t win every month but it’s exciting when you do.

lemonyellows · 01/09/2023 07:29

I'm waiting until tomorrow as I know I'll just be disappointed looking at the list 🙄

Rupiduti · 01/09/2023 07:40

I find the list really confusing, I don't know how best to search!
I only have a small amount in there £2k. But think I'll add in a random figure to make it easier to search next time.
I don't think I've won anything!

WowIlikereallyhateyou · 01/09/2023 07:54

With it being a Saturday tomorrow, do we have to wait til Monday for results?

You can download the spreadsheet and filter it by area.

SunnySailor · 01/09/2023 08:14

Nothing for me on the list. Fingers crossed for better news tomorrow.

JayAlfredPrufrock · 01/09/2023 08:14

@WowIlikereallyhateyou
I very much hope not. It’s been a long enough month as it is.
My app says 1 day to the results.

I’ve had that then increased to over 4k slowly and in nearly 3 years I’ve won 4 times. I didn’t win at all in 21. All £25 but last July I won’t x2 £25. On looking back that’s pretty crap but rates were v low.

However some people on the thread are luckier than me with similar results. It’s a lottery really. More you have the more you have chance to win.

I could now get a better return. I’ve a savings account getting it. But I do like the fun side of it.
