I'm out at work all day but my husband is working from home. What would happen if I won a million and Agent M arrived at our house? Would they inform him? Probs not but then he'd be wondering why there was an excited looking man on the doorstep

I'm aware I'm overthinking this but I'd hate my husband to find out my good fortune before I do. If the agent is there to give him good news then he'd better let me know asap

I’m looking forward to Agent William’s visit today. I hope he times it well though as I have a Very Important Meeting this afternoon and the teenagers never answer the door.

I know is definitely me this time as our mortgage fixed rate ends today and so the majority of our PBs are being withdrawn next week.

I think they ring first @DurhamDurham and it is all secret - they can meet you away from home if you prefer. Not sadly basing this on experience, think I read that somewhere!

There was an account on the NS & I website of a winner. He said that they called him in the day so they could meet him at home after work.

Happy Agent Millions day! I've lurked on here for a while but never posted. I always thought I would post if I won something worth talking about, which hasn't happened yet. Hoping someone on here gets the door knock this afternoon!

I’ve always wondered about the actual logistics of the Agent Millions visit. Do they just hang around if everyone’s out and they can’t get hold of you by phone? Lots of people wouldn’t be able to answer their phone if they’re at work. What if you’re on holiday and they can’t get hold of you? I assume that if they really can’t trace you the prize just sits there waiting for you to (hopefully) claim it at some point.

I hope so as we are on holiday!

Hi, this seems like a fun thread. I bought my first PB last month so I understand I won't be entered into the draw until 1st Oct. Does this mean that if I elect to have winnings converted automatically into new PBs then they won't be entered for the best part of 2 months. Seems a better idea would be to put the winnings into an account that offers daily interest for the first month. Or am I missing something?

I'm pretty sure winnings converted to bonds go into next draw.
