Hello folks, spooky season is upon us!
Last month I did crisp only and earned around £650 - waiting for the invoice to arrive for the final figure.

I've just been selected for Am'r this month, but I think this will be me last month on it as I don't think it's really worth the effort anymore. I'm going to have a browse on App though and apply for some more things. In true app fashion though, the website is currently down... fantastic. Haha.

Hope we all have a great October! 🎃

I've slacked off Crisp so much lately but determined to make a least 300 a month on the run up to xmas, and it seems quite busy in the evenings the last few days

LolaMontezz · 04/10/2022 12:00

It's definitely picked up over the last month. The PPI content has been much higher of late. I got a good session in this morning with it Smile

ThinkingDifferent · 04/10/2022 12:12

Thanks for the new thread

ruralwanderer · 04/10/2022 12:38

@LolaMontezz thank you for starting the new thread! Grin

£589.85 for me last month which I'm really pleased with as I didn't work the last week of the month. 80% of my earnings were from Search Sciences. The rest was a mixture of Crisp, Intellizoom, Prolific and a measly £13.04 from the local college for refreshing my invigilator training ready for the next educational year.

I've applied for a 30 free hours code for my youngest so need to make at least £153 a week from now on so that is my goal for this month and beyond.

LolaMontezz · 04/10/2022 14:03

Just finished Am'r purchases for this month, two pairs of pricey trainers and some exfoliating gel stuff. Will prob keep the exfoliant as I use that anyway. Undecided on the trainers, will see if I like them when they arrive!

OP posts:
MarigoldMoonStone · 04/10/2022 15:22

I had the trainers twice too! Waiting for my partner to look at the site to see if there are any on there he actually likes

Mulhollandmagoo · 04/10/2022 15:35

Lurked around this thread for a while now, thinking to get started this month, if anyone has any tips for a complete beginner? lacking in confidence a tad.

Also, apologies for asking but what is AM'r?

Spirogyra · 04/10/2022 17:11

LolaMontezz, thanks for the new thread, I also only do Crisp, & earnt about the same as you last month. I usually don't remember what my exact total is, or add on the bonuses for NM2 shifts, but remembered it this time as was pleased how much busier it was with lots of shifts available, did the max of 8 a couple of days, & there's even been surges which didn't happen at all for a few months!

Hoping it continues to be busy

Baby89 · 04/10/2022 21:19

.

Mulhollandmagoo · 04/10/2022 22:17

How does crisp work? I've been on tonight looking into it, but I can't see any freelance remote mod work 😳 I don't know if I'm looking in the wrong place

8DPWoah · 05/10/2022 23:12

I've had a shocking month, WWW has been dire and haven't managed to do any App apart from the FB surveys. I have got onto a transcription one tonight but I'm always sceptical as have got on to loads of project recently that have never had any work on when I looked.

I haven't done any SSci work since beginning of Sept and that was only a small amount so I'm not quite retiring just yet 😬 in fact I think I'm going to have to go back to 'normal' work, £150 in a month isn't ideal!

LolaMontezz · 06/10/2022 07:55

I applied for loads of App stuff yesterday, not holding out too much hope but a bit extra work would be nice in the run up to Xmas

OP posts:
Mrsmch123 · 06/10/2022 10:15

whats Search sciences🤷🏻‍♀️Googled it but nothing came up🙈 I fone not bad on appen to begin with but it seems to have died down.

Buster27 · 06/10/2022 11:19

Thanks for the new thread. I finished on £725 (Crisp, Appen, Vinted and Prolific) which was a bit below my £800 target, but it was a bloody awful month. We had two sick bugs go through the house.. I somehow avoided one but it turns out it's not easy to work with children projectile vomiting and a man shuffling about in a dressing gown 🙄Hoping for a healthier October! We are away for a few days and have visitors coming (that we had to turn away last month due to aforementioned sick bug) so won't be working all month but going to aim for £700. Saying that I'm off to a bit of a lazy start so need to crack on!

anyoneanyoneanyone · 06/10/2022 11:27

What is crisp?

ruralwanderer · 06/10/2022 12:03

Welcome to all the newbies - it's great to see new usernames joining us Grin

@Mulhollandmagoo Prolific, Intellizoom and Testapic are the easiest ones to get started with as confidence builders. They don't tend to have long waiting lists either.

Am** is an Appen project - unfortunately we can't go into detail as to what it entails but if you join Appen, it may show on your project list and that will give you more information about it.

To join Crisp as a freelance moderator, you need to click the link at the bottom of the Careers page (search for "freelance moderation work").

@8DPWoah , I hope you have a better month this month Flowers

@Mrsmch123 , Search Sciences is writing internet content - I absolutely love it and it makes up the bulk of my earnings each month but several other posters on this thread have tried it and found it's really not for them. Best to go back through the last few threads to read a bit more (or feel free to PM me Smile)

@Buster27 sick bugs are the worst! Hope you have a healthier household this month!

Mrsmch123 · 06/10/2022 12:49

@ruralwanderer foubd it and signed up😬hopefully get some work from it

AutumnScream · 06/10/2022 22:19

Hi joining in, i badly need to earn this money. Im on prolific and have racked up £9 in about a fortnight 😂 need at least £400 to pay off a credit card debt as quick as poss.

nubnubnub · 07/10/2022 13:51

Hi everyone. Can anyone point me in the direction of a starting point please? I'm so overwhelmed with information I don't know what to begin. We've been screwed over by the mini budget and mortgage has gone up £300 a month so need to earn some extra pennies. Thank you so much for you time.

ruralwanderer · 07/10/2022 14:59

@nubnubnub the quickest and easiest place to start is Prolific although as @AutumnScream has found, it's not going to make you a fortune. I'd recommend installing the browser extension so that you get notified when new studies are available to maximise your chances of grabbing the good ones (I managed a £5 one earlier which only took 14 minutes Grin )

nubnubnub · 07/10/2022 15:03

@ruralwanderer thank you very much. I feel like I am lacking in the basics- what do you actually do for these websites? Sorry for the stupid question.

ruralwanderer · 07/10/2022 15:10

They're all different so you need to review a couple of different sites and get a feel for what appeals to you. Try to work to your existing skillset to make it as easy as possible.

Geamhradh · 07/10/2022 15:49

Rejoining you if I may. Was here on the very first thread and most of that year but dip in and out and with CoL as it is, thought I'd better dip back in!
I'm on Prolific and was on Crisp for 2 years before getting booted for not doing enough. Have reapplied now so may be back on by 2025 Grin Could kick myself for not keeping it up...
I'm on Appen and did the beloved Nle back in the day, and a couple of Amr. (I'm the one with the cowboy boots and peephole bra if anyone can remember!!) Have done a few more tests for them over the past week.
Going to sit down and go back through your recent threads to see what else has come up while I've been gone!

Geamhradh · 07/10/2022 15:50

Bizarre and random bolding going on there!
