I think I got just one wrong. I wonder if they have so many take the test that now they only bother signing up people who pass 100%. So might be worth having another go until you get them all right! (Write down your answers so you don't forget)

Februarycat · 29/10/2022 16:00

@LeSquigh two years for me!

@LeSquigh two years for me!

Not what I was expecting to hear! Never mind, hopefully when it comes it will be worth it. Just pleased to have got the magical 19 😆

Lauren1983 · 29/10/2022 22:35

I passed the crisp test Jan 2020 and still waiting!

The way crisp is run is a disgrace, I've never worked for such a terrible bunch of cunts.

I hoped the American buy out would improve things but nope. They should be embarrassed about how they treat their staff.

👏

Just dipping my toes in here. In 2019/2020 I started doing online surveys and some appen projects to earn a little bit on the side. Never earned enough to pay any taxes on it, then I stopped when I got a new job as we didn't really need the money anymore. I'm now pregnant with #3 and hoping to pick it back up again. I'll probably be going on mat leave some point in March next year so I'm hoping to get started now in the hopes I'll have some work by then as I know it can take a while to get projects and actually earn. I believe you're allowed to work self employed while on mat leave, although I'll need to look into this incase it's changed as it was 2018 I looked into it!

I still have my appen account and still get emails for them so I'm going to go and apply for whatever I can there. I'm also going to apply for crisp, I'd heard of them in the past but was put off because people told me it was very hard to pass qualification and then takes ages to actually get any paid work. I might apply for other transcription projects as ice done some transcription work before and found it easy enough. I can also start doing surveys too, although I just use a few websites as I found most of them to be pants and not worth the time for the peanuts they pay. I doubt I'll earn anything this month as there's only 2 days left but its nice reading everyone else's posts just to see what's out there.

ruralwanderer · 30/10/2022 20:35

Welcome to the newbies, great to have you all on board! Wine

Flakybrain · 30/10/2022 22:52

Thank you! 😊 if I could pick up some work that would be brilliant lol

Geamhradh · 31/10/2022 07:37

There seems to be little rhyme or reason with Crisp waiting lists tbh.
I first passed the test in lockdown- April 2020 and was working it almost immediately. Then I got booted for not doing the minimum at some point last year.
Have passed the test again and settled down for a very long wait!

Prolific seems to be picking up- £14 last week.

Flakybrain · 31/10/2022 10:53

Yeah I’m on a waiting list for prolific for the past couple of weeks

rainbowzebra05 · 31/10/2022 18:47

Posting here for the sake of being able to come back to it, very aware there's likely to be a new thread tomorrow!

I keep jumping in, getting scared, then backing off. But I'm on mat leave atm and really need to pull my finger out! I'm hoping to return to work for the required period and leave at the end of that. Trying to retrain, but getting some money in through things like this would be a big help too! My current part time wage is about £600pm so im hoping to hit at least £300 a month to cover half of this as a safety net.

I'm only just restarting after having the baby 7 weeks ago. I run an etsy store so hoping that'll pick up over Christmas, then I do a few freelance bits normally which adds up to £20 a week during term time. Aiming to stick with appen until I actually make some money this time (I gave up previously), and make a good go of utest. Also reapplying for crisp, I was accepted previously but found it confusing and stopped, and will be applying for s sci and prolific.

Would be interested in seeing how others are managing in updated income lists if anyone's still doing them! October for me was:

Etsy: £13.45

But I've only been back open for about 3 days!

rainbowzebra05 · 31/10/2022 18:50

Oh, I also made £20 on vinted, but it was selling things that are unused and cost about £150 last Christmas, so I'm not really sure that really counts 😁

howfartospar · 31/10/2022 20:03

Not had any intellizoom tests for ages. I normally get 4-6 a week but it's gone very quiet.

usernotfound0000 · 31/10/2022 20:17

I've been quiet for a while but haven't done too badly this month.

QMEE - £40
Atta poll - £6
Vinted - £80
Facebook marketplace - £60

Need to have another clear out and get some more stuff on Vinted next month.

WhatstheprobBob · 31/10/2022 20:37

I did well for me this month, definitely need to crack on even more with Crisp next month tho. It’s just sooo boringggg but needs must.

October earnings:

Prolific: £15
Crisp: £100 approx
Appen: £250 approx

LeSquigh · 31/10/2022 23:49

I’ve only just started and have found Prolific the easiest to get up and running with. Keeping the tab open when I’m at work and have made £12 in last three days so a good start. I miss out on a lot though as most are desktop only which I don’t have at home.

I am finding Appen really confusing and have applied for a few things but got nothing yet. Hopefully will become clearer when I get something!

Have passed Crisp and am now playing the waiting game.

ruralwanderer · 01/11/2022 07:26

I'm about to start a new thread (which will run on until it runs out of room) but thought I'd pop my October earnings here too.

Due to COVID making me feel absolutely rough and lacking in motivation, having the kids home for half term and searching for a replacement car taking up time that I should have spent on Crisp, my totals are the worst that they've been in a long time:

S Sci - £362.12
Crisp - £67.24
Intellizoom - $18 (~£15.61)
Prolific - £20.45

Total - £465.42

I must do better next month or my 30 hours free childcare will be at risk.

I've just trawled this thread to see what S Sci is but can't find out. Can anyone shed some light? Thanks.

Februarycat · 03/11/2022 14:06

@marywana Think S Sci is writing articles when I check it out

SlurpSlooChortle · 06/11/2022 10:24

Is there a November thread?
Qmee have changed the pop up that tells you when the survey has submitted and it looks so fake!

SlurpSlooChortle · 06/11/2022 11:18

Thanks @ruralwanderer !

Fluffyslippersohyes · 03/05/2023 21:29

I know this thread is old, sorry.

Does anyone do Nielsen receipt and product scanning?

How many points do you need to get a reward? I can’t seem to log in to the bit of the website.

thanks
