New thread for when old one is full and for October - exciting time as lots more prizes for October - less £25 ones but many more £50

Friday 30th is last working day of the month so maybe one of us will get THAT VISIT - saying won a million - blondes faints

wouldn’t it be lovely if we all won something even £50 in October

Well either way unless we have had a known on the door - none of us on here have won a million

but

maybe just maybe we will win £100k or £50k or even £10k would be nice

I will be happy with £25 though 😂

OK my extensive research Googling has led to this:

“How quickly are Premium Bond winners notified?

Premium Bond winners are drawn on the day before the first working day of the month. Big winners of prizes over £5,000 will be notified on this day. The rest of the winners will be announced 24 hours later and notified by email or text.

Millionaire winners will be given the news in person at their home address by a NS&I representative on the day before the first working day of the month. Those who’ve won less than £5,000 can expect to receive an email or text on the first working day of the month. Prizes are usually paid within seven working days.”

Well we just had a doorbell ring.

Husband had apparently been sat in the dining room thinking "Oh it's not too late for the agent to come round" and got a bit giddy as the bell went.

The man delivering the parcel probably wasn't expecting someone to open the door and then look so disappointed.

I think the app updates the day after the normal list comes out. Most people on here know before I do. Because I just on the app when it’s updated.

It gives me an extra day of dreaming about a decent size win 😂

I heard that all the bigger prizes get notified via phone call but only the millionaires get the actual visit. I wish they would detail it all on their website, like exactly who comes and when etc!

You know the prize list thing? Well when it says that someone won £10k on £30k holding but that the bond was £15k, what does that mean?

@PriamFarrl holding is the full amount held, bond amount is the size of the block containing the winning bond number.
Eg you might have £30k in total but the winning bond number might be from a time you bought £1000 worth one month.

You can look online from tomorrow so 1hr 15m if it’s behaving itself and shows big to 1000

and then app shows all and smaller £25on Tuesday

If you scroll back I've put a link to a newspaper from August 2022 I think which says they get notified the day before the first working day.
