New thread for when old one is full and for October - exciting time as lots more prizes for October - less £25 ones but many more £50

Friday 30th is last working day of the month so maybe one of us will get THAT VISIT - saying won a million - blondes faints

wouldn’t it be lovely if we all won something even £50 in October

£100 for me on FH. £250 last month. £175 for DH and £25 last month on FH👍

£25 on just over 20k. I was hoping for a bit more as I got 0 last month but better than nothing. If i get £25 in the next 3 draws I will have won £300 over the year which is the same as I would have got if I'd gone for the 1.5% Chase account which was the other option I was consider so at least I haven't lost out.

£100 on £12K - most I’ve ever won at once so am pretty chuffed with that!

They must have heard me pondering if it’s better to take them out and put into a cash savings - they’ve done enough to pull me back in for a bit longer!!!

£125 on £28K, which makes up for nothing last month. £475 this year, so not so bad.

I'm at 1.7% this year, which obvs could be better.
DH is around 3% with his full holdings. He thinks that putting money in gradually in at least £5k chunks is the best way to get better returns - with a better spread of bonds - no idea if this is true?

I got £225 on full holdings which I am very chuffed with.

£175 on £40,000 holdings. Wasn't expecting much because I cashed in £10k this month, but it's my biggest win in the two years I've held PBs.

If you call them they are very good at tracing them. If they were bought in your children’s names and you know roughly when then it should be straight forward.

Don’t get excited that you are sitting on millions though. I’ve recently traced some bonds that were from 1956 and they hadn’t won a thing in all that time.

On holiday & had a message to say I’d won, but haven’t got my holders number with me ! They are reinvest so can’t see anything in bank account to see what’s pending. Now had a ‘secure message’ which again I can’t open without holders number. Anyone else had a ‘secure message’ ?

I have won nothing for 6 months and thinking about increasing my£10000 elsewhere but got my first£100 today plus a £25 which gives me an average of£25 per month over a couple of years
