Tho guessing if answer the phone to agent millions and they say are you in later

you know you’ve won a million.

Is it always a million if they come round? Just in case I ever get the call and get disappointed if I get a lot less!

Fuuuuuckit · 11/10/2022 10:46

God, can you imagine getting a call from them, asking if you're going to be in later.

I'd be like a jelly and constantly up and down check g the door bell was working!

AutumnCrow · 11/10/2022 12:06

But how would Agent Million have my mobile phone number?

Nadal · 11/10/2022 14:21

You put your contact details in your online account.

Blondeshavemorefun · 11/10/2022 14:26

I often get emails saying make sure details are up to date. And show my mobile number

Interesting Telegraph article on premium bonds by Paul Lewis.

The second link should work.

Of winning the million. But, unlike the lottery, someone has to win it. Yes there is a very small chance that you will win. But two people will each month.

zighead · 13/10/2022 19:38

You can read the archive @Benjispruce4 that @ThisIsNotAFlyingToy has posted below the official link.
Interesting article, I'm not tempted into moving mine into a savings account as I love the build up to the draw and the chance to win prizes. I only have 22K but really want to have 50K before I retire.

Ames85 · 13/10/2022 19:44

An interesting article. I need to give up hope of a big prize really as it keeps me holding on when I shouldn’t. When I work out the monthly amount of interest I lose playing the premium bond lottery compared to the decent fixed rates around now, it’s too high for my liking. I just don’t need to be holding this much in cash. I wish I didn’t want to be a millionaire 😩

Benjispruce4 · 13/10/2022 20:07

Ah I see, thanks. Wish I had t read it now.

Usually those who have £50k

so not me lol

tho had the odd lower winner

I had hoped I would have won £25 this month with the bigger Keizer but alas not

hopefully nov and dec will be my months

Anyone waiting for the November draw ? I get too excited everytime as if I am going to win the million and start daydreaming. Is it just me ?

I do it too. I opened the app yesterday to see exactly how many days of dreaming I have. 😂

MagdaMok · 19/10/2022 07:59

Here too 😁 it's definitely how many days yet? And hope you will get this one phone call on last working day of the month 😎

OneFrenchEgg · 19/10/2022 08:12

Next results on 2 November on the app. Definitely I start getting exited , no idea why I've won £25 in about two years 😂

janett2 · 19/10/2022 09:35

Glad I am not alone 🤗
I usually wish for million till the month end. Once I realise that agent millionare has not visited, I wish atleast for 10000.

On the day of the draw I wish atleast for a 100. 😄

After the results are out, will be satisfied with 50 😆 This is my dream cycle 😁

bonzaitree · 19/10/2022 09:46

Interesting article.

Main draw for me is the fact you can take money in/ out instantly so it's good place to keep money you're going to spend in a couple of years and it is 100% safe (mine is for a new house).

Also you at least chance of winning something decent as opposed to the money sitting in a bloody bank account with a measley amount of interest creeping in by the penny. Just depressing that!

boatgirl81 · 25/10/2022 09:07

I am starting to get excited now, 8 days for the App and I guess 6 days for the knock at the door?
I started small with premium bonds, we had our first house deposit with icesave and when that collapsed and we thought we would lose our life savings. I really appreciate the security you get with National Savings.

fromdownwest · 25/10/2022 12:25

Full holdings, unless it’s a good one this month it’s all going into my 2.99 HSBC account pending my Jan tax bill

Might as well leave it in there until 2nd December and see if you win the Christmas draw. I think that's what I'll do.

Ames85 · 25/10/2022 17:31

I’m excited for the draw. I’m on the countdown straight away each time. Gutted to have less and less in each time though as it just can’t compare to my mortgage anymore unfortunately
