New thread for when old one is full and for October - exciting time as lots more prizes for October - less £25 ones but many more £50

Friday 30th is last working day of the month so maybe one of us will get THAT VISIT - saying won a million - blondes faints

wouldn’t it be lovely if we all won something even £50 in October

First win ever since starting to collect 14 months ago. Slowly built up from 1000 to 7000.
£50 win.
I thought they might email but only found out by going online to look at my account.

They will also email you in a few days time Smile

£75 not to bad

Hearthnhome · 04/10/2022 16:56

PanicAtTheBigTesco · 04/10/2022 15:44

@Hearthnhome I would definitely advise DD to move hers into a LISA (or move £4K a year gradually if she has more than that), I understand it's not as excising as the chance to win big but 25% guaranteed is not to be sniffed at imo.

Yes that was my advice. But she is I am also trying to step back and make her own life decisions. She is at Uni so I am still putting money away for her, but I let her make the final decisions on where they go.

So difficult to step back though 😂

Nadal · 04/10/2022 16:57

@Hearthnhome LISA for someone in her position definitely. She could always leave a small amount in PB just for that "what if" hope.

Igmum · 04/10/2022 17:06

£25 here. Every little helps. I'm working my way to those big prizes Grin

applecharlotte12 · 04/10/2022 17:19

2 x £25 on £18k this month. That's £175 in total since April which is great but I had £100 for the 18 months before that so overall return is prob not great!

LuckyHedgehog · 04/10/2022 18:30

Nothing for DD this month, but 1 x £25 for me and 1 x £100 plus 1 x £50 for DS - so much better than the £25 we won between us last month (on 3x full holdings).

WalkOff · 04/10/2022 18:42

Nothing on 25k - £25 this year is the sum total. Statistically that's really unlucky right?!

Grrrpredictivetex · 04/10/2022 18:53

4 x £24 on £34,000.

Benjispruce4 · 04/10/2022 19:35

Not a sausage here on £20k bonds.

Longdistance · 04/10/2022 19:42

Not a sausage here either. Hey ho, there’s next month. Though I won 2 x £5 and s lucky dip on the lottery.

WobblyLondoner · 04/10/2022 20:59

£75 on full holding, whoop whoop!

WobblyLondoner · 04/10/2022 20:59

Best thing that has happened to me in an age frankly.

Benjispruce4 · 04/10/2022 21:01

What is ‘full holding’ ?

Pemba · 04/10/2022 21:10

Full holding is £50,000. The most that a person is Allowed to have.

Benjispruce4 · 04/10/2022 21:17

Thanks.

Magissa · 04/10/2022 21:18

3 x 25 my first win in more than six months. 21k holdings.

whirlyswirly · 04/10/2022 21:28

£125 here on £45k. £950 to date this year! Pretty chuffed with that

DrMadelineMaxwell · 04/10/2022 21:31

£100 and £25 for DH on £45k
£0 for me on £16k

Cakeybake · 04/10/2022 22:27

£25 for me on around 30k. DH got nothing on similar holdings. Every little helps

ScarlettSunset · 05/10/2022 00:10

Nothing for me this month. Rather disappointing given the increased prizes. Had several months on a row of no wins now Added a bit extra in September so hopefully will have more luck in the November draw.

TulipsTwoLips · 05/10/2022 02:48

£100 on £4700 holding. Really pleased with that.

PurplePositivity · 05/10/2022 06:25

Nothing for me this month but DH won £100, really pleased with that.

PBond · 05/10/2022 07:16

I forgot to check yesterday! 😮

We didn't do amazingly well considering the change in prizes.
Me FH 1 x £25 £450 YTD
DH FH 1 x £25 £150 YTD, but only just moved to FH
DC 10k 1 x £25 - only their second prize all year!

Hopefully next month will be better

MissHopeful · 05/10/2022 09:34

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/10/2022 09:45

@MissHopeful so far you are this months winner

so many of you won. But the poster with £40k who hasn’t won anything for a while does seem bad luck

but would £40k get £70 a month in savings so £840 a year in interest

This was definitely our best month ever. Some months we’ve had nothing but we had a big smile on our faces yesterday morning when we saw the results.
