I just can't stop hoping for a big win and if my husband moans that it's not the best investment I just remind him that someone once won the million with only £17 total holdings!!!

Haha I’m excited too but in my defence it’s only my second draw and I won £50 on my first one!

Same here, Nadal - ever since they upped the prize rate, I've had nothing

But that can only be because they are saving my numbers for a big win this month, right?

I'm hoping for something this month after a few months of getting nothing.

Apparently the chances of winning are now 1 in 24000 instead of 1 in 35000 so fingers crossed!

I’m not very clever when it comes to stuff like this so please be kind.

if the odds are 1 in 24000 does that mean that if I have £24,000 in bonds then I should expect one win.

I've managed to increase to £6400 and hoping to keep adding each month. No pension/savings so it seems a safe place to stash cash and not spend it on groceries etc. It's less easy to dip into.

First month on full holdings! So lets hope it is a good one!

We have £33,500 would be more but I raided it to lend a family member some money (until probate lands) and also to bridge the gap for the first few months of retirement.

House is bought. I am back to £39 in PB now. Waaah

If it's 1 in 24000 I should be winning twice a month....instead I have had a total of £125 and only won prizes 3 months out of 8! We both have max holdings and have had £400 between us all year. That's pretty unspectacular.

I don't think you got it wrong, I just think there are average winnings and ours are well below average!

Perhaps we should poll - who has max holdings and how much have you won this year? I suspect my paltry £125 may be amongst the lowest!

It's just pot luck.

You may be unlucky or extra lucky but if you have more holdings then you have more opportunities to win on your side but there are no guarantees.

Can someone please give me a quick tutorial on PB

I want to put £50k in PB when I sell my DM house. Do I just buy online and how quickly can you cash out again? Is there risks from cybercrime?

No risk at all. Easy to cash in. Money in bank in a couple of days.
