Wow, congratulations to all of the winners 🙂.

FedUpWithBriiiiick · 03/08/2022 22:57

Good job all the winners 🎉

Katyy · 04/08/2022 14:39

Hi. I always check on the 2nd of every month. The last two months it’s said no wins, but then two days later I’ve had an email today I have won £25. Anyone else ?

fedup078 · 04/08/2022 15:27

@Katyy it's the 2nd working day so you have probably been checking too early

Katyy · 04/08/2022 17:01

Thanks I checked this month on Tuesday the 2nd it said no win. Then had an email today to say I’d won 25 so don’t know what’s going on.

CornishTiger · 05/08/2022 20:28

£25 on a small holding £780 I think in name child’s name

InTheCludgie · 05/08/2022 21:30

3 x £25 for me this month. My time with the PBs is almost over, we had an offer accepted on a house so all being well my holdings will be withdrawn in a few months at the latest to put towards the deposit (keeps fingers crossed it all goes off smoothly!).

icecoffeeisland · 05/08/2022 21:59

£25 this month on £50,000. That's £275 / 0.55% for the year so far, which is pretty rubbish. I won't be cashing any of my bonds in though, I still want to have the best chance of winning a big prize. And I'm hoping they'll be another prize rate increase soon, after the recent interest rate hike.

Underroad · 06/08/2022 09:54

I’ve had £4000 in mine for a full year and FINALLY won £25 this month. I was feeling like it was never going to happen.

StorieAnna · 08/08/2022 13:34

Just opened the post. 2 x £25 on £10,000 invested in April. First win. Quite excited even though small gains.

boatgirl81 · 08/08/2022 15:17

Do we know if the rate is likely to rise again in line with the base rate rise?

No, a letter.
Form to complete on whether to reinvest the winnings.

FlippertyGibberts · 08/08/2022 20:21

I've got my PBs set to automatically reinvest my winnings.

Same here. Obviously when I win the ££££ I'll have to keep the balance <sigh> after leaving full holdings.

UrsulaPandress · 08/08/2022 21:17

My dad used to get cheques in the Post once he reached maximum holdings.

My biggest win of £500 was a cheque.

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/08/2022 21:19

I loved getting cheques in the post

I now reinvest

should have done that originally

I may have had more pb by now but they usually brought a Chinese takeaway for £25

I was wondering this. I am new to PB and unsure how they set the levels. I suppose they need to remain competitive.

tripledecker · 09/08/2022 10:52

It's tempting now to move my full holdings into a savings account which is paying 1.95% but I do enjoy hoping I've won a large amount each month.

I’ve got just over the same amount for two years. Well actually it’s increased up to that amount. I won once in December 2020 £25 and in July I won two x £25. I do like the fun side though of hoping/waiting etc
