By the way, in case anyone was wondering what was really going on with Prolific, it's because someone posted a video about it on TikTok that went viral and was seen by millions of people. It caused a massive demographic skew in the participants, to the point where Prolific actually refunded some of the researchers.

Yes, that's why. Lots of people are experiencing this problem. Nobody knows if it'll sort itself out or not.

I assumed the prolific problem was due to university summer holidays. Things picked up for me last week on prolific and testable minds.

Oh also, anyone doing matched betting, do have a go at the bookies free daily games. I won £50 yesterday from a couple of free spins 😅

@AnotherOne4, that’s so true. Since Aug, I’ve only been on potato and not earning a lot in comparison to how long I spend on it. As a result, I didn’t bother with it in September.

I asked at my day job to change my contract so I’ll start working full time (since we’re still wfh 80% of the time anyway). I’ll start that on Monday. I reckon that’s better in that at least I know it’s constant.
Hopefully Appen picks up again.

After reading your post @Tohaveandtohold, it got me thinking. I'm sure there were a few peeps on here who were going to try this full time over the summer. I wonder how they got on.
May and June were amazing months for me, but it all went downhill very quickly after that. I couldn't live off these earnings, I only wish I could!
I still do try everything, and log in most days.

@AnotherOne4 I was one that decided to try it full time over the summer. Looking back my totals were roughly
June - £1000
July - £1250
August - £700
September - £700

I need to average 1k a month really or we'd need to start cutting back on things, which I don't want to do. I had some money set aside from when this was a sideline so I topped up the last couple of months with that, but I've just put the rest of it towards a trip away so will have to pull my socks up again.

@Buster27 wow you did well for Aug & Sep. Was that on potato?

@AnotherOne4 No, I've only been hitting the minimum on there recently. Most of it was from Appen transcription projects (mainly for**ter ones).
