Morning all,

Thought I'd start a new thread for June as I couldn't see one that had been done yet. Ignore if I've cross posted!

Nooooo...I just tried doing the H*P*th task on App and I am so slow and have no clue if I am doing it right! It will take me weeks to complete so I am not sure if this is worth the time. Has anyone done this successfully??? Feeling a right plonker!

Aw, thank you! I thought Appen sounded good but my experience so far is that it feels very alien hahahahaha! I am enjoying prolific and find that simple to fit in and hope that I may get approved by Rev....Appen will need to be 'different' if I am to persevere as I have probably chosen project that aren't especially suited to me - doh! I am loving the idea of an extra £10 a day; it really would make a difference to me. :) Great support on here too.

If it helps I recently signed up to Rev and it took 2 days to hear from them saying I’d passed the test and another 6 days for them to approve my ID. Still haven’t done my first test yet though as not has much time to read through the guidelines!
Also I’m sure there’s only 1 male speaker.

Well I've failed as I didn't realise you had to describe the speaker ! I just put speaker 1 and speaker 2! I'm rubbish at reading guidelines ! Oh well .

@tootyfruitypickle I put speaker 1 and 2 (and 3) and i passed. You didn’t need to describe them and they didn’t give their names.

flloyd The Hp task took me friggin ages, and I only did it because I'm truly skint or I wouldn't have bothered. Uu* took a more reasonable amount of time.

I was doing H*** for an hour last night and have barely scratched the surface. The email said it would be half an hour, blatant lie.

They better not reject my work. The Clickworker 'record a phrase' projects hate my voice and my work always gets rejected and I don't know why because I do it in the expected conditions and speak clearly. I genuinely wonder if it's my Birmingham accent.

I think it took me almost 2 hours in the end.

@Flloyd. I did H last month. It took ages but it was my first job so hoping I might get quicker as I get more familiar with the site. On a positive note, it was approved. I’ve no idea how to submit the invoice. That’s my next challenge.

@rhij86 Yes, I saw that, & wondered what had prompted it.

There was a pinned message a week or so ago about hate speech emojis, which contradicts the new wiki section on moderating emojis! Anyone else notice?

Forgot to say, the pinned message disappeared a few days later, I assume deleted, how are we meant to follow guidelines when they don't even agree?

Potato have always said no phones or tablets. They must have caught someone out.

They do random checks sometimes to make sure people aren't skipping/refreshing or working with more than 2 tabs open too.

All the messages sound arsey at the moment. Things don't sound peachy at HQ to me.

Ada, I recently saw another poster with your name but with a swear word in the middle & wondered if you had changed your name but now I see it must be someone else.

I never have more than 2 tabs open to work on, but sometimes have a third one open just on the home page to see the amounts in the queues, I assume that is ok.

Payment page, I should have said, the home page has nothing on it.

Same here, took an hour at least. Thankfully got mine paid fully but definitely took longer than 30 mins!

UHRS on Clickworker is my biggest earner at the moment. I aim for $10 a day (it works in dollars) which is £7.18 but some days I just go on and on and can earn $50. Sometimes it goes quiet and you struggle to find jobs that pay more than 1 cent but other times there are jobs that pay 12 cents for each task taking only a few seconds and it quickly adds up.

I've managed to hit my $10 a day target for 3 weeks straight. If I could manage it every day in a month it's an extra £215 a month which is huge to me!
