rhij86 · 01/06/2021 11:51

Morning all,

Thought I'd start a new thread for June as I couldn't see one that had been done yet. Ignore if I've cross posted!

I'll post the links for all the sites shortly, but for now here's a link to the last thread: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/legal_money_matters/4252763-2nd-Part-of-Mays-Earn-10-a-day-thread

All welcome, new and old alike - let's start the summer off with a bang and get earning those pennies! Hope everyone has a good month.

@YonderTweek Haha..
Brilliant timing!

Lifeisforalimitedperiodonly · 19/06/2021 00:34

I was accepted for Rev a few weeks ago and I am too scared to start! I listened to a few and there was lots of chatting before the topic started and I didn't know what to put. Do you put that it is general chatter or crosstalk or whatever and then start the proper transcription?

Baby89 · 19/06/2021 07:50

@Redcrayons, I did submit order details with package costs.

AnotherOne4 · 19/06/2021 07:51

Morning all Smile I'm up early to begin the new SD week. Just logged into chat, and I see we have someone from support finally! They state they are logging in and checking twice daily from now on. So that has to be a good sign that the project is continuing, right?

YonderTweek · 19/06/2021 08:38

@AnotherOne4 Yeeeeessss! That would be brilliant!

AdaShelby · 19/06/2021 09:21

@Baby89 did the ticket say they wouldn't reimburse you for the one you bought in error?

I've never had a ticket from them but always wondered if they would pay or you'd lose out if buying the wrong thing.

It's a good project but not one to get stuff wrong on from reading the chat.

Hey all
Haven't posted on here for a bit but wanted to share something I found out today in case it helps anyone else. I've been looking at how tax/NI etc will work for em when I get made redundant and then go on maternity leave but it's not leave as I've not go a job...confusing.

Well anyway it turns out I can keep my tax-free childcare for DD1 (we are going to keep sending her two days a week for various reasons) if I register for self-employment, which I'll need to anyway, as long as I've been self employed for less than 12 months which of course I will have been. That will save me £40 month out of my SMP (and my DP for his half), not a huge amount but every little bit helps!

I applied for Rev a week or so ago and haven't heard anything so I guess that's not going to go anywhere.

That's fab! My day job is very part-time but this £10 a day clicking brings my income level up enough to qualify for the tax-free childcare for after school club for my youngest. It's only a fiver saved a week, but every little helps!
AnotherOne4 · 19/06/2021 12:36

SD is a real struggle today. Hardly anything to work on

Catatemyhomework · 19/06/2021 13:08

@AnotherOne4, it is painful Sad

AnotherOne4 · 19/06/2021 15:02

@Catatemyhomework I should have completed my six hours by now. I've barely done two Sad
Hopefully when US wake up, they'll chuck some more data on there. lol

TheSunisShiningToday · 19/06/2021 15:03

Hello. Can I join this thread please. I’ve been lurking for a while and have read the previous threads. Everyone has made fabulous amounts. Well done.

Thanks to this thread I joined Prolific. It’s a great site and I’ve made about £30 for each of the last 2 months.

I’ve joined Appen and find it very confusing so might need help from some of you lovely ladies.

I keep failing the test on Intellizoom. No idea what I’m doing wrong. Any advice on how to pass it?

AnotherOne4 · 20/06/2021 13:21

Welcome @TheSunisShiningToday Smile Shout if you get stuck on Appen - there is always someone who can help and point you in the right direction.

Do Intellizoom give you any feedback on why you are failing? I failed first time, but passed second time. Are you speaking out loud and saying everything, even silly things, like what you think or how easy/difficult you found it. Sometimes filling in with fluff is better then silence.

TheSunisShiningToday · 20/06/2021 16:36

Thanks @AnotherOne4.

I’ll shout if (or to be more exact when!) I get stuck with Appen.

No feedback from Intellizoom. I’ll think about what you’ve said and have another gol

AnotherOne4 · 20/06/2021 16:40

@TheSunisShiningToday If at first you don't succeed, try and try again.

This wkd has been a total bust on SD. Total waste of time Sad

flloyd · 20/06/2021 17:11

@Novelusername

Frenchdoors1 Thanks, I'm doing it outdoors but then it breaks it down further in the app and I wasn't sure exactly what to put, I hope it's ok so long as it's outdoors and noisy enough for them. I haven't signed up to qmee so I'll check it out, many thanks!
I have just signed up for App and have been given the U*ok task - I have no idea what I am getting into lol! I will give it a go though and hope this can be the start of some more funds coming in. Has anyone else found this task especially tricky? I do understand the instructions - can I re-record if need be? Thanks for any feedback to help galvanise my confidence! :)
TheSunisShiningToday · 20/06/2021 17:44

@flloyd. I’m new too and I’ve just done that task. I did a similar job last month which was approved so this gives me hope.

Yes, you can re-record. There’s a button with a backward arrow and if you press that you can re record.

Rgy3250999 · 20/06/2021 18:43

@TheSunisShiningToday Do you mind me asking how you found out your task was approved and how long it took? I have just completed my first task and I’m constantly checking my account and emails to see if I did it correctly! I’ll just be glad when I’ve got some feedback on the first one 🤞

Thank you! I am going to give it a go tomorrow - eek...

TheresALight · 20/06/2021 19:05

Hi everyone, hope you've all had a good weekend!
Has anyone done a mystery shop style task for Youtest where they ask you to split payments over different cards? Any good? It seems like a lot of faff at the till, can't imagine being able to do it without annoying the cashier.

jumpingforjoy · 20/06/2021 19:14

Has anyone been added to a new task on potato? If so can I pm as I have a question!

Hope everyone is doing well, welcome newcomers. I've been here for a while under various usernames and it's been a game changer, I paid for my ivf from this Smile.

Not been on much recently as I have an actual job at the moment but it's only a contract so I'm trying to keep my hand in!

rhij86 · 20/06/2021 20:42

@jumpingforjoy no but I'm curious and jealous! Haha

Redcrayons · 20/06/2021 20:44

No new tasks for me either. Very curious to know what it is.

swiftt · 20/06/2021 20:54

Well, baby girl made a dramatic appearance on Wednesday after a prolonged labour with a failed epidural ending up in an emergency c-section. But she is the most chilled wee baby, so I’m hoping I’ll still have the odd hour here or there to get some work done. What have I missed? SD? Riv finished?

rhij86 · 20/06/2021 20:58

@swiftt Hope you are recovering well!

Riv has finished, SD is slloooooowwwwwww
