@YonderTweek thank you for your help. Can I ask of amr is auto admitted for invoice or do I do it myself? Appen sent me a ticket saying my Amazon mystery box cost 29$ and didn't include the 6.99$ postage. My first amr purchase was 2 Amazon mystery box- wasn't even a box and in error I brought 1 for 69$ instead of the 29$ and surprise surprise both had the same knock off ear bud head phones in. Also got baby clothing, watch, earrings and a football shirt.

@Baby89 Amur is auto submitted. They put the fee on first then a few days later add the reimbursements as a bonus.

I’ve never had a query back from them, so can’t advise on that. Did you receipt show the price?

hi all, jumping back into this, i've just been doing surveys for a bit but need to up my game. I've just gone through appen and applied for a ton of projects so up to date there now.

Please can anyone tell me where/ how I apply for Rev?

Hi all. I'm quite a novice at this and am just looking to earn a bit of pocket money on the side so I've only signed up with Prolific. But, I just can't seem to get any studies. I've made around £80 to date (been doing it around 3 months now) andni have the prolific assistant on while I'm working but even if I immediately click on the study when it comes up, it's usually full. It always seems to alert me when there's 1 place remaining. The ones I do catch tend to be very low earners (often less that £1). Are there any tricks to success on prolific that I'm missing?

Just Google 'Rev' it's transcriptions, Captions & Foreign Subtitles.

I'm not on it but I'm sure others will come on and let you know anything else.

You are doing everything correct with Prolific. The studies so go very quickly and it also all depends on your criteria to how many they send.

@Leaveitonthefloordrobe I don’t think your doing anything wrong. I often have the same - alert with one place remaining.

Hi, I hope you don't mind if I join in. I've watched these threads a while and have been meaning to make an effort to make some more cash, but now I really have to as I'm not sure how I'm going to make the rent next month. I've done voice collection Hrpth for Ap & did some voice collection for Nvo, did the Rev test a few days ago. I'm currently doing Ap Uuok but am a bit confused about the environment settings I have to register. Can anyone who's done it help me please? On a quiet street outdoors - is that outdoorsquietloud or outdoorsloudquiet?! Thanks for all the info on these threads, I'm hoping it's going to save my neck.

Thanks Anotherone and Frenchdoors , I'll just keep waiting then. I had a period of being able to jump on quite a few and many were worth over £5, but it's been quiet for a while. Profile all up to date. I'll carry on doing what I'm doing. Every little helps!

@Novelusername Hi, the Utk should say which environment to use. I had an email yesterday to do it but I don't have the items that they state so I can't do it but the instructions will be on the project page.
Also I had another email today to do it on a mobile- same project but without using Bluetooth, this one says to do outdoors.

Have you tried Qmee, it's something but not much and I guess it all adds up.

Can you do Rev?

@Frenchdoors1 ta, I've done the application , fingers crossed, I fail most things but I tried hard on this one !

@tootyfruitypickle Ooh good, hope you pass, a lot of people on here have done well on Rev.

Also if anyone is interested there is 'Take Part in Research' and 'People for Research' These are down to criteria too and sometimes it may take a while for you to get chosen but once you're signed up they sometimes send emails or you can still check the website to see what is available.

It will be online chatting with a group or surveys. Apply for as many as you can.

The thing with these though is you are only allowed to do 1 project every 6 months.

Thanks, I'm doing it outdoors but then it breaks it down further in the app and I wasn't sure exactly what to put, I hope it's ok so long as it's outdoors and noisy enough for them. I haven't signed up to qmee so I'll check it out, many thanks!

Is this the end of SD then? Today has been tragic. 😭 I was supposed to properly blitz it today but there's no way I'm sitting there all day waiting for the occasional task.

Please don't let it be the end. Would love even just one more month or even just until the end of June. I can't spend all weekend trying to chase dribbles of work. Last weekend I did 6 hours on Saturday, 6 hours on Sunday and 6 hours on Monday. Not much of a weekend, but such a sense of achievement and great camaraderie with my new found friends in the chat and on here!

@Catatemyhomework the chat is a nice place to hang out. I was there yesterday for a bit, and I wasn't even working on SD lol. (I've even had a few conversation with you on there.The Brits do seem to represent well in the chat)

Like you, I worked all last wkd too. I was hoping to do the same this wkd, only because I like to get my hours in early. But we shall see......

@AnotherOne4, yes I go on there when I'm not working on the project. The other Appen chats are very slow! Yes, I have enjoyed our conversations on the chat!

SD picked up a bit this evening so I got a little bit done. I started working out my total for this week and suddenly panicked that I'd done more than 20 hours again. I just added everything up and it was 19 hours 59 minutes.
