Thought I'd start a new thread for June as I couldn't see one that had been done yet. Ignore if I've cross posted!

Oooh what have I missed? Feel like I’ve been AWOL for a week! Is our fave SD still got plenty of work?

Just an update - I had my wee girl, Grace Violet, early yesterday morning delivered by emergency c section due to a super slowly progressing induction, multiple failed epidurals and back to back labour. Was all a bit hectic but she’s here safe and sound and I am just totally besotted with her. I hope to resume the monthly activities here as soon as I can. 🤞

@swiftt congratulations! Sounds like the little lady is keeping you on your toes already!

SD still has content, so does riv (occasionally) - but more markets seem to be getting emails saying the project is complete for them, so don't think it will last much longer :(

Middle of the night is def the best time to peel potatoes, I did 2.40-4 thanks to DS1 being awake and made £15 plus the shift uplift for the hour

Should have gone on in the middle of the night when DD woke me up! I wouldn't be bothering with potato if it wasn't for the fact I have three screens so can just keep it on in the background. I've had a few things come up on Utest recently which have been decent, but otherwise pickings have been slim.

@colourchanginglipstick yeah I have 3 work screens so potato sits on one while I crack on with my day usually

Hello you lot.

Was here from the first thread onwards under different names, but dropped off due to busy real life job.

I'm the one who took receipt of the country and western boots and peephole bra on Am*r if that rings a bell. 🤔 Am also in Italy.

Jumping back in now summer holidays have started. Reapplied for all things Ap, (except for Pretty Woman underwear purchasing, too stressful)

Pleased (in a way) to see it's not just me for whom potato has been shite recently. Made a grand total of £90 over three months!

Prolific has been good last few days though- £17 since Monday.

Just tried WWW but sheesh those audios. Might give it another go when feeling more inclined. I also failed (last year) another audio transcription wotsit, despite being a court transcriber here, hey ho.

Nice to see Gacha, Cuttle and anyone else who remembers me.

I also got the China Appen email. I’m a bit concerned about the install tool thing, specifically the bit that you need to reinstall your computer to uninstall it. Mine is a second hand laptop, I couldn’t reinstall it even if I wanted to.

Anyone seen the project work and knows what’s involved? I might consider for an ongoing project.

I've just been Googling reviews for App C*a and I can honestly say that I won't be doing it....

@Frenchdoors1, I'm worried now. made an account. Although I've not taken any tests / assessments yet. Definitely not installed any software so hopefully will be ok.

Also got the Appen C*a invite.. I also did a bit of googling and it doesn't sound great. Not sure whether to bother applying as it sounds like I'll probably bail out of it anyway.

So I’ve googled and it’s a no from me. The tech side is really worrying.

@Redcrayons yeah, was just having a look at the stuff they emailed and I see you definitely need to install the software for this project so it's a no for me too. The pay also sounds even worse than what I read last night!
