Which should I focus on first? Riv or SD?

Evening all! Payoneer finally accepted my ID and I’m now all set up on Appen!

I have my first job which is effectively talking into my phone - but it seems a LOT more work than what I thought. I’m about a quarter of the way through which took nearly half hour and now I’m worried I just won’t be able to finish it. Will that reflect badly on me with Appen? I know some sites penalise you for not finishing tasks but this seems insane for the money!

Yay, glad you got payoneer linked! I think if you're not able to finish the task, send them a message letting them know. They'll remove you from the project but always say it won't have any bearing on being accepted for future projects.

@UsernameNotAvailableApparently Mine was also approved yesterday and I’ve got my first assignment which sounds the same as yours. It takes me several minutes for each one to think of what I’m going to say. I started yesterday and did half but left the other half to do today. Wasn’t too impressed at how long it is taking but also reading the chat on that job, people questioning when they actually get paid since it’s not one you invoice for. I hope I’m not doing all of this for nothing.....even a few pennies is better than nothing! Just hoping my silly sentences actually pass 😀

I've done a couple of those ones so I know what you mean.
You will get paid I wouldn't worry about that, it's just how they do things with these ones.
