Thought I'd start a new thread for June as I couldn't see one that had been done yet. Ignore if I've cross posted!

Well ladies I'm still plodding on...... I'm in full time work now but still do my mystery shopping/approval on the side. I'm also doing mobile hair braiding when I can fit it in so lots to keep me busy. Have been keeping an eye on the thread too when I can and it's so nice to see all your totals and people getting more work.

@Heyha Thank you so much for the advice! I applied through Rev and am now waiting for their reply. I also tried WWW but by Jove the online audio test was hard! I only scored 60% Perhaps my Rev application did not go as well as I thought if I scored so low with WWW! Since I only have 2 more tries, I don't want to waste them. I can't even imagine how tough the offline test must be!

Next step will be Appen. I also just found out that you can do subtitling work for some of these companies, including in foreign languages so I am going to give this a try. It'd be nice to use my other languages.

can someone tell me what the REV application process is like. I fancy giving it a go but don't have an up to date CV and no transcribing experience.
The project i was so happy and relieved to get on has no jobs available don't want to fall back to square one.
Payoneer was a pain in the butt for me too, took weeks of back and forth with my ID's etc. Mostly my own fault I never bothered updating everywhere with my new name after i got married so the ID they needed was a different name etc. sorted now and getting my pay but it was held until they were happy that I'm me

Newbie here - signed up to Rev today just for the captioning side, did the application so am just waiting to see if I passed to get onto the wait list for work!

Signed up for Appen last Thursday and got accepted onto a couple of small projects but then I received the Payoneer request to set that up so I went ahead and did that - I now have the account and all looks fine but the link between Appen and Payoneer seems to have broken down.
When I log into Appen it is just stuck on a “do you have a Payoneer account” registration page and they keep emailing me saying if I don’t set it up within 7 days of joining Appen they will delete my account!

Very stressful because I’ve done everything I’m meant to. They did say wait 3 days for it to be processed but I’m now on day 4.

So who knows??) I emailed them today so waiting on a reply.

Anyone else have issues getting past this part of the process or have I just been unlucky? I guess I can call them tomorrow if no update by then.

I did it last night @Tattiespuds as I could do with only doing short files sometimes and WWW have lots of longer files, which are great most of the time but some weeks I can't find one short enough for me to do it properly in the time I have. It was a few multi choice questions on grammar and on their style guide (which you can have open while doing it) then a little practice transcription within Rec'd software. Took me about 30 mins but I'm not sure I did a great job of the transcription but as it's quite different to what I've learned to do with WWW. Well worth a look anyway, wasn't too stressful.

Just an update after day 1 I have managed to earn £7 on Prolific! I just kept seeing the surveys refreshed on my laptop as I use it for work and managed to back £7. It’s not the £10 a day but hey only £3 off on day one I feel really pleased :)

@universal83 It’s really picked up for me this weekend I did loads. I’ve got £20 waiting to be approved. I usually do £10 per month.

@Redcrayons so it's not always this good then lol? I've got £9 waiting to be approved too but £7 approved

@redcrayons I had a decent weekend on it too, made close to £40 on it since 1st June, usually make about a tenner a month!

@Heyha I've just applied for Rev. Didn't realise how bad my English is so I don't hold out much hope.

I can't believe Adr**c is gone, I genuinely feel quite upset. Need to get a grip don't I?

@Tattiespuds I can't believe there is no content either - maybe they will load some more. [fingers crossed] I have only been on it for a week due to log in issues!

@superpinkgirl I only been on just over a week, same reasons. I'm hoping they do, I was really enjoying it.

I have products on the A**r tool! Yay! I hope I get the email too. I was gutted when I missed the May round. Haha.

Hi, I just found this group today. Now that I occasionally get some free time in the evening I was hoping to earn some money.

I have signed up to Appen and will do some more in a bit.

I have a few questions if anyone can help...

1. What is your favorite money maker and why?

1. What happens with paying tax? Do you do a self assessment or do you not need to pay tax?

1. How many hours do you work a week on average and how much do you earn?

Sorry, may be a bit personal but I really want to make a go of this and this group seems really lovely.

Ooh I surprisingly have am** items too. I wasn't expecting to have any as I was only able to complete an item from the April round a couple of days ago as I had to wait the 8 weeks for it to not turn up. I do only have 3 products though and the first one is low value/not worth returning and not something I want so I've not got high hopes in terms of money making this month but I do find it fun regardless

Hey @Ohpulltheotherone I am having the exact same issues at the moment!

It says that my work details/job title are being verified in Payoneer and Appen weren’t very helpful when I asked earlier today.

Going to call Payoneer tomorrow and hopefully get it resolved

@Buster27 I'm really intrigued what is this coded A app or site that you are both not spelling out?
