Yay! I'm in this round too. Smile I have seen people talk about this email about a similar project, or A**r changing its name etc, but I haven't got anything. I'm curious now though!

Right, off to get my five products. I see the first one is probably a skip already...

Heyha · 06/04/2021 08:28

Thank heaven for the App surveys and the invoicing thing being fixed for my $30 this month 😂 I'm having the same thing as others with Poll** AU so guess doing the assessment was a complete waste of time.

Am really hopeful of WWW- nearly finished getting set up and their communication has been really good, and personal. I've got a little pot building up on Populus Live but I think I'll be drawing my pension by the time I've got enough to cash out. Might have a look into Prolific this month as a lot of you seem to have good experience with it. I keep getting utest emails but I've realised I find that a bit scary so haven't actually done one yet!

Catatemyhomework · 06/04/2021 08:40

@Redcrayons, I am the same. My first time doing Am*r too. Haven't started yet. Going to reread everything. Maybe we can help each other!

Dancingdolphins · 06/04/2021 08:50

Also on Am**. First two a right bunch of shit!

Newbies - make sure you note down the job ID! I pop the job id, website and price into a spreadsheet as I find it useful for returns (if I can make any) and for remembering how much they owe me!

Nightfeedwatcher · 06/04/2021 08:55

Another newbie here needing some help please!
I’ve signed up for prolific but have just had this message when verifying my account...anyone else had this?
Also when I go to delete account it’s saying my email doesn’t match up so I can’t even do that Angry

minnimiss · 06/04/2021 09:04

Is anyone doing Am** and has the ad for the flower wreaths? I'm unsure if I need to buy one of can brows Etsy?

CoconutQueen · 06/04/2021 09:05

I had that same error message after filling in endless questions for Prolific. Also said they can't give access. I just got v pissed off about the time wasted and deleted my whole account with them!

Dancingdolphins · 06/04/2021 09:11

@minnimiss does it go straight to the flower wreath page? If so buy it. If it goes to a catalogue or the main Etsy page you can choose something else.

Nightfeedwatcher · 06/04/2021 09:14

Same! Only it won’t let me delete the account now saying my email doesn’t match up, even though it’s the one I signed in with...
What else did you sign up for I’m just signing up for click worker too

unicornpoopoop · 06/04/2021 09:20

Well that was the worst round yet 😭

£100 earrings I can't return as they're earrings.
£100 of the ugliest shoes ever had to skip as out of stock
A dress that's only suitable if you're a member of Towie clubbing in Marbella
A calendar all the way from America
And a £40 squishy plush toy

The only one I may be able to return is the dress

seizethecuttlefish · 06/04/2021 09:25

Only 5 on Am this month.

@minnimiss exactly as @Dancingdolphins says. Fingers crossed it just takes you to a general page and you can shop away.

Catatemyhomework · 06/04/2021 09:31

I haven't started my purchases yet. I'm anxious about doing it wrong. Hope there's one decent thing to buy although not inspired from you guys on here so far this morning!

superpinkgirl · 06/04/2021 09:36

I only had one item from A*ur this month (pair of trainers) the other four were skips, one of which came up with deceptive page error, I now have a pending transaction of £30 trying to come out of my account which says card not present! Great! - now on hold to the bank! Angry

minnimiss · 06/04/2021 09:40

It takes me to a catalog of flower wreaths but within the general etsy site, so from that page I can access the whole of Etsy by clicking the links along the top to homeware etc which is why I'm a little confused.

AdaShelby · 06/04/2021 09:40

Am££ was shit. I had to skip 3 the other two were fake trainers that won't be worth returning and a cheap pair of earrings that I can't return either. Very disappointing.

YonderTweek · 06/04/2021 09:41

Oh yeah my first one was a scam and I had to spend ages screenshotting things to be able to prove that it was skippable. Angry The next one seems to be some junk from far far away. Haha. I would love just one decent item this month. Last month was ok in terms of returns so I shouldn't complain really.

Yes to making a note of the Job ID! I always screenshot the whole page with the advert and the job Id. I also save my reviews (write them on Word first and then paste - this is handy in case the tool misbehaves so I won't lose my stuff), and I screenshot the ADAP page once I've inputted all the reimbursement info. I have become quite organised with this. Grin I have folders for each A**r month and they're full of info. But it's easy to keep track of what you're doing and I've not had any issues getting my money back yet. Would recommend.

AdaShelby · 06/04/2021 09:43

@minnimiss you have to pick from the catalogue.

AdaShelby · 06/04/2021 09:43

@minnimiss you have to pick from the catalogue.

Dancingdolphins · 06/04/2021 09:47

Am* was a pile of crap this month. 3 skipped - one an obvious scam for trainers, two didn't load. Bought a shirt and a pair of tracksuit bottoms that looks like they won't survive the posting and a dress which is nice but not worth returning. What a waste of time!

unicornpoopoop · 06/04/2021 09:48

I also have folders 😂
And a spreadsheet.

I find when inputting the info it often crashes if i take too long so I put it on a spreadsheet first. Also I include the submission number you get when doing the reimbursements now. And notes. It all helps to have it in one place and it refreshes my memory for doing the reviews.

Each photo item is renamed as either website or invoice with the ID number in its own folder.

Spreadsheet with these headings

ID, URL, ITEM NAME, PRICE , DELIVERY, TOTAL, EXPECTED DATE, DATE RECEIVED, SUBMISSION NUMBER, NOTES

I know it sounds like a lot but I found it really speeds things up doing this.

Oh and they've also started asking for payment type, so I've now added that to the spreadsheet too as the first time it came up in my reimbursements I couldn't remember how I'd paid for any of them!

redgirl1 · 06/04/2021 09:57

I’m on Am** this month for the first time. I’m almost scared to look. I hope I get something decent.

MarigoldMoonStone · 06/04/2021 10:00

@peabrainer
Yes you will get an email with a link for Nw*n and you can complete it twice a week - I do it on a Monday and Thursday. Very very simple to do.

I've only done my first one on A**r so far, some cheap horrible trainers from a website that offers no information about how long delivery might take - fab!
Next one is taking me to a website where you have to buy a minimum amount of some cheap items. Website not displaying well as think your meant to do it from an app on your phone - don't think that is a good enough reason to skip tho? Also have to contact the seller before buying so think this one will be a pain to do :(

MarigoldMoonStone · 06/04/2021 10:01

@unicornpoopoop - I have a very similar spreadsheet haha - definitely recommend!

AdaShelby · 06/04/2021 10:04

@MarigoldMoonStone you can't buy more than one item so skip it.

MarigoldMoonStone · 06/04/2021 10:14

@AdaShelby Thanks but unfortunately I checked the guidelines again, think they have been updated, and you can now buy the minimum amount as long as you don't go over the $150
