@savvy7 it absolutely is and tax free, Feel free to share your expertise. It's not something I do so I always forget about it.

Loving these figures everyone.

Will do a proper tally at some point over the weekend but I think I came in at around 330... not bad considering it's been near impossible to get anything done as planned in the evenings!

@seizethecuttlefish @TheLolaMontez thanks for the solidarity with the kiddos - you can usually find @Dancingdolphins and I rocking in a corner somewhere (not so) slowly going insane 🥴

Hoping for a better month this month - between projects with work so should hopefully be able to peel some potatoes during the day, at least for a week or so.

Buster27 · 01/04/2021 20:25

Thank you all, just a shame it's not feasible to make that every month! But for anyone on App and not getting much work at the moment, hang in there. If you hit a good project it can be really good.

@MoreMoneyPlease the large bulk of it was from a transcription project which don't look like great pay, but the pay is per item so if you're fast you earn more and if you're slow you earn less. I was well over £10/hour on this one (helped by being added to the quality checking team which has higher earning potential) but I've slogged through a few transcription projects now so I'm familiar with the system which helps.

@savvy7 That's a good amount! How long have you been doing MB? It's not been a good earner for me recently but I've gotten quite lazy with it.

feckinarse · 01/04/2021 20:48

Hello! thanks for inspiring me with the last thread.
Last month was really the last two weeks of it, as that's when I started. I earned about 15 quid from qmee, 15 quid from prolific, and 50 quid from Rev. I'm getting quicker and quicker at transcription, now, but it's still not terribly well paid per half hour, really). Rev was the first one that i got fully accepted to (turned down
by Way With Words!) and I'm waiting to be accepted into some $ppen projects, hopefully.
I found clickworker and got all set up and then.. .couldn't work out how to sign into the UHRS! I emailed support and they said "oh, that's not us, that's a microsoft thing' and MS is utterly useless at helping peeople get into their passwords So... eh.
Hoping @ppen pick up, sticking with Rev, and doing anything I can on prolific, which is really interesting. I've also just got started with matched betting (the actual games are tomorrow so I guess I see profit then) and that's fascinating. I have the next 2 weeks off so I forsee spending some real time earning on rev and trying to work out matched betting properly. Hopefully I'll be a dab hand at it before the Grand National!

Ejsk · 01/04/2021 20:59

Hi, can I ask, on clickworker it’s asking for tax number for payment, is that just my NI number? Thanks 😊

Rad2016 · 01/04/2021 21:01

Those waiting for do the exam on M**ps on Lionbridge. How do they expect one to read this 240 document? Goodness!

savvy7 · 01/04/2021 21:05

For beginners to matched betting, save the student and team profit have good guides. And team profit have a live chat facility where you can get support, all free.of charge. I had always shied away from it as it sounded complicated and but once I tried it out a few times it is mostly quite easy and I never do anything I don't understand

Baby89 · 01/04/2021 21:39

singsingbluesilver · 01/04/2021 21:57

A quick add up and it looks like I made £280 in March - all from Prolific, the FB tasks on Appen and Qmee. That's pretty good but I wish I could get on something better from Appen - I am getting fed up of surveys, but I do enjoy Prolific studies.

whysotriggered · 02/04/2021 00:18

Well done to everyone on all your totals.

I think I made about £750-800 last month which I am happy with.

Good luck for April

YonderTweek · 02/04/2021 07:48

Thanks for the new thread! And happy April! It's really starting to feel like spring now. Daffodil

I am in awe of some of your March totals. Well done all! I'm still waiting for my hours to be added from my main project so I don't know how I've done yet. I worked so hard on K**x though so hopefully it'll pay off. I am pleased that my FB surveys etc already seem to be at around $135 dollars, which is not bad for just filling in a quick survey every now and then.

Anyway, hope you all have a lovely Easter and that the Easter Bunny brings you lots of chocolate eggs. Grin

CoconutQueen · 02/04/2021 08:13

Hello all, I'm new on this thread. Have just registered with Appen, but it already is giving me an error message when I try and sign in, saying "your email and password combination is invalid" !!!

Have literally just registered. Am definitely using the correct email and password. Any advice please?

AnotherOne4 · 02/04/2021 08:22

@ CoconutQueen - are you on the correct Appen site? You need to be on Appen Connect (when I first started I was on the wrong one and couldn’t figure out what everyone was talking about! Lol)

MrsWombat · 02/04/2021 08:51

Has anyone been doing the Appen mini news surveys recently, and had them appear on their invoices? I'm going to start doing these again, and keep a record.

CoconutQueen · 02/04/2021 09:26

Yes, still saying invalid email or password on Appen! Very frustrated - what on earth am I doing wrong?

superpinkgirl · 02/04/2021 09:32

Wow! There are some amazing totals this month. I made about £70 on potato, I usually make more but as I had a telling off it put me off! I haven't had my complete invoice for Appen yet but am hoping for about £350.

I'm also in the toddler, baby gang! it's not easy!

CoconutQueen · 02/04/2021 09:42

OK I am into Appen Connect now! Thanks for your help - didn't realise I needed to register all over again with the Connect site; thought I could just log in if I'd registered on the other Appen bit.

Buster27 · 02/04/2021 09:50

Chey* now showing on app invoice for anyone else who did it (voice recording one).

Winterjoy · 02/04/2021 10:37

@MrsWombat

Has anyone been doing the Appen mini news surveys recently, and had them appear on their invoices? I'm going to start doing these again, and keep a record.
@MrsWombat I did them in March but took it a week at a time intending to stop if they didn't appear on my invoice. They all got added... the only thing I'll say is that I didn't do them last week as the day they would have been due on the invoice next Tuesday, and I needed to submit my March invoice yesterday due to the deadline for another project.
Winterjoy · 02/04/2021 10:41

@savvy7

Is matched betting not a legitimate way to earn additional money? I'm clearing easily over £400 a month tax free with very little effort
Wow @savvy7 that's a great amount - are you making it on reload offers? I'm struggling to hit £100 a month matched betting now I've taken up most welcome offers.
savvy7 · 02/04/2021 10:48

I did the sports welcome offers, then reloads, have been gubbed in some form or other by some sites, then did casino welcome offers. I didn't really take to the casino reloads offers as there is a risk involved. Prefer to stick with the sports.

I then took up a trial of Oddsmonkey and have just renewed with them, mainly for arbing.

I haven't tried out all the different ways to make money - never done Bet365 2 up for example, so am sure there must be more £££ to be made.

flamingo40 · 02/04/2021 11:16

I really need to join this. Tried last year with the paid surveys. Just didn't earn hardly a thing... looking closely at this now.
Any pointers appreciated

MrsWombat · 02/04/2021 11:19

@Winterjoy Thank you. I will persevere!

I enjoyed Matched Betting when I did it. I signed up for Profit Accumulator and did all the welcome offers. But I got gubbed and didn't make much from the reload offers. I would definitely recommend signing up for PA or Odds Monkey and doing all the welcome offers, then seeing where it takes you. Nowadays I make more money testing the gambling sites on uTest. Grin

lannister · 02/04/2021 14:57

@Buster27 WOW! That's a phenomenal amount. Well done! For those asking about matched betting, if you sign up to profit accumulator there's a forum with threads dedicated to making £300 pm or £1000 pm & even ones on how to make money if you've been gubbed etc..

StanleyR38 · 02/04/2021 17:23

Can i just ask about registering as self employed. The pending Ap*n invoice is going to get me past my first £1000 of self employed earnings. Do you only count earnings from things like Intellizoom, Utest, Ap*n and LB?

Think i read somewhere that you don't have to count earnings from surveys? So wouldn't count anything form Prolific for example?
