Earn £10/Day Marching into March

Welcome to the March thread everyone.

The idea of the thread is to earn a bit of extra cash. There are a few ways to do this. I'm sure some of our regulars can add to this. But here's some ideas.

www.connect.appen.com this is a site where you can sign up for micro projects and some longer term projects.
www. crispthinking.com social media moderation
www.lionbridge.com projects
www.utest.com user testing
www.prolific.co surveys
www.intellizom.com short one off tasks
www.clickworker.com short one off tasks

I'm sure I've forgotten loads. If you want to look over previous months, there are loads of pervious threads in this section.

I took the first pollock test but there was no option to work and it was still showing the exam so I thought maybe there was a mistake and to take it again. Didn't realise straight away that it's a different exam with different guidelines 🤦‍♀️ I failed it but wasn't even given a score which is annoying. I have the option to retake but the test seemed pretty stressful so I'm just not sure if it's worth it

First big payment from Appen today - very exciting! Any tips for getting a USD balance out of Payoneer with the least fees - looks like transfer directly to bank is the most straightforward withdrawal method or is there a better way?

Rad2016 · 12/03/2021 15:26

@Winterjoy that's lovely. It's such a good feeling when you see the payment for all your hardwork. I've not done any Payoneer transfer in a long time so all my money still in there.

rhij86 · 12/03/2021 16:12

@Winterjoy I have mine transferred to paypal and the loss of £ on transfer is minimal (25p this month albeit I only earned £12.58 haha)

It's also fairly instant (not sure on the timescales for bank transfers), when I woke up this morning I had a series of emails from Appen, Payoneer and Paypal all saying I'd been paid, and the money was already in my paypal account.

So happy to receive my work statement this afternoon - due to a bereavement in family I can help my parents out with costs, with this money. Once more I’m reminded how grateful I am to this thread and the posters on it.

Rad2016 · 12/03/2021 19:39

@evtheria so sorry. Hope you're OK. No matter how little it's made a difference. We've been saving up for a mortgage and this has definitely made a difference.

rhij86 · 12/03/2021 20:29

@evtheria so sorry Flowers

YonderTweek · 12/03/2021 20:58

@evtheria Sorry for your loss. Flowers

These threads have really made a difference in the last 9 months or so. I found myself jobless when the pandemic started, and me bringing in some extra money a month has really taken the pressure off my husband. I also feel better for actually doing some work and earning some money instead of just faffing around all day. Grin I'm supposed to be looking for a job but there are zero jobs going where I live, so I'll quite happily stick to this for now.

AnotherOne4 · 13/03/2021 10:30

How do you make money on Intellizoom? Whenever I log in, there are no surveys available.

evtheria · 13/03/2021 10:59

@YonderTweek @rhij86 @Rad2016
Thank you for your kind words. I only posted because I had initially started with a plan to just make a bit of money for nice treats/disposable income, but one year down the line it’s turning out to be a bit of a lifesaver. Just wanted people to know their help and advice does more than they know.
Anyone who’s lurking but not made a move: please give it a go for a few months! You’re not selling anything, and (nearly always) don’t need to use a single penny of your own to begin.

lilmishap · 13/03/2021 11:32

Payoneer is telling me I can't withdraw my £48 but won't tell me how much I need to have in there. Anyone else had this?

Frenchdoors1 · 13/03/2021 12:20

lilmishap I would give them a ring because you should be able to draw that out. There may be a reason at their end 🙂

ruralwanderer · 13/03/2021 12:22

@AnotherOne4 , have you fully completed your profile? I get very regular emails from them and usually screen in on about 50% of the ones I'm offered.

Dancingdolphins · 13/03/2021 12:47

@evtheria Thanks

Totally agree about these threads. I paid for IVF from money made here!

Dancingdolphins · 13/03/2021 12:49

In the first 12 months I was on crisp I made over 9k.

AnotherOne4 · 13/03/2021 13:34

@ruralwanderer - Yeah I've just checked my profile is at 100%. Do you leave yours logged in all the time or just wait for the email notifications?

@Dancingdolphins - wow!! You made alot. This is what we all aspire to be like Grin

Can I just say, I totally agree with @evtheria - the people on here who post and offer advice and suggestions are AMAZING! You guys really are a lifeline. Thank-you all!

Dancingdolphins · 13/03/2021 13:43

@AnotherOne4 I had to hammer it at odd times of day and night before I got shifts Grin. Definitely couldn't manage that now!!

ruralwanderer · 13/03/2021 13:46

@anotherone4 I've find that if you ignore it, you get fewer invites so I make a point of logging in daily as well as clicking every invite link I get in order to stay active.

AnotherOne4 · 13/03/2021 13:49

@Dancingdolphins - it's still impressive! I don't expect everyone to make that kind of money (or come even close to it) but the one thing I've learnt: if you just keep chipping away at something it all adds up. The pennies definitely turn into pounds Grin

@ruralwanderer - I'll make a point of logging in everyday and see if that makes any difference. Thanks Smile

YonderTweek · 13/03/2021 15:45

@AnotherOne4 Stupid question but have you done the test survey? I didn't want to do it for ages and I was wondering why all of my surveys dried up. Haha. Then I finally did it and when I passed it I've been getting loads. I find that I often don't have time to do the speak out loud ones as there's always someone around, but I click on them anyway just in case. I go mad for every single card sort because it's easy money. Grin

AnotherOne4 · 13/03/2021 16:19

@YonderTweek - funny you should ask that. No I haven't Blush Only because it states you need to use your camera, and I don't want to do that.

YonderTweek · 13/03/2021 17:16

@AnotherOne4 Ahh, you need to do it if you want any more surveys. I put it off for months and had zero surveys in that time. I was adamant that I did not want to do it, but actually it was really quite easy and I rather enjoyed it. You just natter at your camera about what you're doing when you're completing the task, and that's it. Only takes a few minutes. I genuinely thought I would loathe the talk out loud tasks because I really didn't want to do anything with my camera, but these ones are really easy and actually quite fun. I just don't think about the fact that some poor intern will have to watch me go "ok, erm, uhh, this site seems ok to me but I got confused here..." and I enjoy my easy money. Grin

AnotherOne4 · 13/03/2021 18:28

@YonderTweek - do you have to have the camera on? Blush
I did try and do it just now, but looks like my laptop microphone isn’t working properly. Just trying to see if I can fix it Confused

AnotherOne4 · 13/03/2021 18:49

Ok so after trying to fix the laptop microphone for nearly an hour, I went and plugged some apple earphones in and the microphone on that seems good enough.

I've done the test Shock, it's just in review now. I'was so nervous doing it! haha

CocoPrivileges · 13/03/2021 18:49

Agree with @YonderTweek that the Intellizoom surveys are easy money and quite fun too! Usertesting is another great site that's very similar and well worth signing up for. It usually pays $10 a go.

The tasks are sometimes extremely straightforward - in one recently I had to go onto the Waitrose website to see if I could cancel a delivery, which must have taken less than two minutes. Sometimes the instructions are a bit convoluted and things don't work, but it doesn't matter - just keep talking, explaining what you're trying to do and what's happening.

The vast majority are just an audio recording though there might have been one or two tasks where I was asked to use my camera. I once got $30 for chatting to a researcher about my experience of using the Tesco app - I could talk for hours about that! Grin
