Welcome to the March thread everyone.

The idea of the thread is to earn a bit of extra cash. There are a few ways to do this. I'm sure some of our regulars can add to this. But here's some ideas.

I'm sure I've forgotten loads. If you want to look over previous months, there are loads of pervious threads in this section.

Mine are teens and tweens but only one at school today due to staggered starts, so I'm still doing breakfast, lunch and dinner for all. At least the weather is bad so not missing anything there. I might try and have a little afternoon ziz as feeling knackered!

@allpinkypink24 - alot of it is have a go and see what you like.
I'd say start off with Prolific, as it's nice and easy.
I'm liking Qmee, Clickworker, Neevo. The high earner seems to be Appen, but I'm still getting my head all around that one!

@AnotherOne4 thanks : ) I tried 20 cogs a while ago & I wasn't keen on that one as it involved setting up lots of subscriptions. I also tried lifepoints & I found the surveys extremely boring... I know it's not going to be all fun & games though ... based on what I've just mentioned are there any ones to avoid? I'm PC literate & have office / admin skills.

After the lifepoints & 20 cogs I gave up hope & presumed they must all like that.

I wouldn't mind going back to surveys I guess ... the ones on life points were 1p per survey. The 20 cogs also wanted me to play online games which I have no interest in.

allpinkypink24 - I'm not sure there are certain ones to avoid as such, but I didn't like Lionsbridge. But we all have our own likes/dislikes.

If you have a Facebook account, I'd say sign upto Appen and apply for the Facebook jobs - I think there are three. They are nice and easy, and a nice way to dip your toes into Appen.

@pinkypink24 ooh you've just reminded me I have to activate my sim card to complete a cog I've been dragging 20 cogs out for a looong time now (sitting on 10 completed, 2 pending), finding it tricky to complete offers as I do matched betting so already have accounts for the online bookies/casinos which seems to be most of the offers!
As others have said there's a good variation on here of what people like and what works for them, I'd just give things a try to find out. I personally find Appen the best earner but it just depends what project(s) you have.

All eight of my am** purchases have arrived - got all UK based companies this time for a change. Best do the reviews so I can return a few

Thanks to everyone for the heads up on B*, I'd deleted the email assuming the work would all be gone but logged on this evening and got 1.5 hours in 😁 will do more tomorrow if it's still going as I actually like the new format and had no timeout issues.

Is anyone else getting absolutely bombarded by App with Poll* emails? I did the test again yesterday and failed again 🤷‍♀️

Funnily enough since I kept raising tickets about them not putting the survey tasks on invoices I haven't been invited to do them this month 😂

B*ne finally dried up. That was a good few days. TBH I have no idea how many hrs I have done.

@Rad2016 oh is it done now? I was hoping to get a couple of hours in this afternoon, just finishing a report for work. Ah well :)

Is anyone else having issues with the appen surveys showing on your invoice? I'm sure it says they would be uploaded every tuesday, but I've got nothing showing yet for last week

I checked just few mins before breakfast it was still there, by the time I finished eating it was gone.

@rhij86 you'll need to raise a ticket for each survey, they are well aware of the problem with the autoinvoicing but it seems they are being reactive rather than proactive. That's the two New* ones anyway. The UU one I don't do any more as they haven't ever bothered answering tickets.

@Heyha thanks - I'll raise the tickets this morning. Wasn't sure whether to give them a little more time or not.

Has anyone been able to complete any Neevo tasks lately? I'm getting emails semi-regularly about available jobs but every single time I click through I get the no tasks available message. I've had this before when I've been late to respond, but the last few months it's every time - I'm starting to wonder if theres an error on my account

@allWinterjoy - I had it this morning (and I think the other day too). The email this morning said there were 3 tasks available, but when I went to work them, nothing was available.
It's pretty annoying because I do get a little bit excited when I see the Neevo emails, as I like their work.

Is anyone making any money on Clickworker at the moment? I've signed up to Crisp and Appen but seems to be a slow process so wanted to get going on some work while I wait Would appreciate any info, thanks

@notgreenfingers I only make money on CW when they have the eye movement tracking tasks available, which is not very often. I know some people do ok with it, but it's very hit and miss. If you do get on it, just make sure you check the payment properly before you start a mammoth task. I once spent hours rating audio clips thinking I would make at least a few euros, and it turned out the whole task only paid 60 cents. I was not best pleased.

I just got an email from the Pllck people and they said I can keep transcribing. Yay. They did tell me to do the AUS ones though because the UK one is full. I just need to find time because I've been doing K**x 8 hours a day this week. I'm just so pleased to have some work this month.

Thank you for the tip about checking the task payment! Will see if I get anymore responses before I decide, as it seems like it may not be worth going through the process of registering with them if they don't have tasks that are worthwhile for the amount they pay

@notgreenfingers, like YonderTweek I have all but given up on Clickworker. Too many bitty tasks for not enough money when I can earn better with Intellizoom, Appen and Crisp.

Anyone on appen ca*ble how is it like I have had repeated emailed verify apple info but don't have anything apple is it worth buying just for the project ? Thanks

After all the P*k emails I decided to finally go ahead and take the test, which I passed but is there no work currently? Nothing comes up. Thought I might replace F**r with it because I hate the new platform for that.

@tinyradish still work showing for me - are you getting into the tool? If you've only just passed the test you might just not have access yet.

@Heyha and @tinyradish, where do you find the P**ck test? I keep getting invites to do it but when I click on the learning centre it just takes me back to all projects!
