Welcome to the March thread everyone.

The idea of the thread is to earn a bit of extra cash. There are a few ways to do this. I'm sure some of our regulars can add to this. But here's some ideas.

Does any one else do Qmee? I have not had any surveys since yesterday afternoon - there is normally a queue of them first thing in the morning. The little notification window flashes on to tell me there are new surveys, but on my home page there is nothing?

Yes, I've had one that I've been accepted onto this morning but from around 4pm yesterday I didnt get any and none again now since about 7am.

Weekends are usually quieter for surveys.

Finally got an invitation to N1le! Anyone know how long it takes to get added onto the tool? Also how long does it last? I did a similar project with lionbridge, but that finished after a year

I've just done my A* purchases - 8 links, 4 skips. Purchased men's shoes (from china), ladies soft trainers (also from china), the make-up setting spray and dog grooming tool that I think most of us got - hoping to return both of those.

One of my skips was for a blood testing company - I couldn't work out if I should skip it, and it sounded interesting, but once I'd got all the way through to the payment page, it finally said it was a subscription service

@IrritableBitchSyndrome yes, an invoice will be automatically created when they upload your hours (they haven't uploaded any for March yet, I can't remember what day(s) they upload but it's pretty regular). IIRC the hourly throughput is 47, so you get the hourly rate for every 47 you do (however long it takes you). So in theory 800 should take you 17 hours, but it will take you more or less depending on your speed.

@0htooooodles N**e is fab, I think I've been on 7-8 months now. I don't think it took too long to get access.

@0htooooodles just looked back at my emails to see when I actually started (only 6.5 months ago so hopefully a bit longer left than I thought!), and I got access a week after getting selected. Think it varies a lot though!

Do potato people book leave when you want time off? I want a week in June and thought I would let them know early.

I get a message though saying "the option to request time off is currently disabled by your manager". Should I message them?

@lynsey91 you don't need to book leave. You will still have to do the minimum for that month.

@lynsey91, as it’s just a week then it’s fine. I think so long as you meet your minimum requirement and log in to work at least within 3 weeks then you’re fine.

Did anyone else have problems with pllck today? I got some done this morning and then came to do more at about 4.30pm and it just would not work. Deflating because I’ve definitely not hit £10 a day today.

For the FB survey N*len and the others, i used to get email invites, so i aways followed the link from the most recent emais. However they have stopped sending invited, but the projects are still listed in my projects. Can i use the links in the old emails, or am i not invited anymore?
Also, how do you get new projects? I have the same 16 projects on my list for 2 months.

@Elcantador you can buy I'd take a picture of the final screen, just in case. If they don't add it to the invoice, you've got evidence.

So envious of the N!l3 starters. I loved that project and miss it. Nice consistent year of earning. I finished a year ago and keep hoping I'll miraculously get back on it.

@lynsey91 unless it's longer than 3 weeks or you aren't going to meet the monthly minimum, you don't need to tell them. Enjoy your break.

@WhatsitWiggle I got the same blood test. Sounded exciting until I realised you don't get anything unless you subscribe.

I bit the bullet and bought a new laptop as mine is on its last legs. Hoping it makes things less glitchy.

I also looked at a Neevo task that looked decent pay but took ages. Haven't finished the test has anyone done the text id task?

So my Chey has also disappeared completely, and last night I got an email congratulating me for passing the AU Pllck quiz. They are so random! I may contact support about Chey though because I have definitely done it and want to get paid.

@Elcantador I always use the old link because I do it on set days regardless of the emails. Otherwise I can't keep track of all the surveys. Haha.

Has anyone tried playspot? It's an app where you supposedly earn money/vouchers for places like amazon for playing games. I've seen a few ads for it recently, read the reviews on playstore and on the whole they seem ok.

I've downloaded it to give it a try, you get a welcome bonus worth £5 so that's a good start! Going to give it a go this week and see if it's worth doing.

Anyone else got any experience with it?

Hello. I've been lurking for a while. I got accepted on to N*e a couple of months ago but never actually got put on the project. I emailed and they said I just need to wait. However, I have just been accepted on to Bar*tt. It say's t $0.75 per task, any idea how long these take, if anyone has don'e it?

@Elcantador I just use the previous e mail link and it works ok, I have to write down which ones I have done as some are twice a week, some once a week, gets confusing

@Februarycat I've set up reminders on the calendar on my phone and set them to recur every other day/once a week/every Mon and Thurs for example, I would get it so wrong if I tried to keep track myself

Anyone did B* last night? Was really pleased to discover they had changed it so you don't have to click on all the pages/thumbnails
