I did the clickworker 60c thing too. Fuckers, I thought it was per task. And to top it all it was the most tedious thing I've done since starting this work - I hated it! But worth it for 60c per task so I persevered. Gah! Totally exploitative. And there was another rating task I looked at out of interest which involved rating 97 audio clips too, for 0.04 euro. Of course you would assume it was per task, but what do you bet it's for the whole set of 97 too?! Less than 4p ffs!

@Flube, your link doesn't work, could you please PM it to me in case this thread goes? I'd like to keep contact as this thread has been so helpful for me!

There are lots of those 'exploitative' tasks still up on CLW so assume that everyone is voting with their feet and not doing them. Maybe the client will see the error of their ways and upgrade pay if they want the job done.

@ruralwanderer PM's often get lost.

Neevo's dried up for me too. I still have a few of the 3 versions calls to do, apart from that it's just the occasional validation of those calls when there happen to be a couple of tasks in the jobs.

Let's hope so, @NewModelArmyMayhem18. What bothers me is that it really wasn't clear that the rate quoted was for the whole 97 tasks. To be fair, even at $3.20 it would be a shocking rate of pay for the time it took. I had to laugh when I realised I was only being paid 60c for the whole thing. Live and learn! I will be giving clickworker a wide berth from now on.

@peelpeelthebanana I think they are misleading in how they are presenting the tasks. Have to say though that when I tallied up 60 cents X 97 I did think it was genourously paid. Oh the irony!

Neevo has definitely dried up. At least most of the jobs that have been empty for weeks now have finally officially closed and disappeared from the dashboard. I'm hoping that means they might actually get paid soon!

I did the 97 CW tasks for 0.04, also assuming it was paid per task. It wasn't . Avoid!

Well it seems like we all thought we were getting more than we did on CW

I had a clickworker task flagged up by my virus scanner so didn't do it. I'm glad now as it sounds like it might have been the rubbish pay one.

I'm still raging about the CW task. I can't believe it! But I guess it teaches me to read the details properly in the future (it was definitely misleading though!). What winds me up is that you couldn't check the details once you had clicked on the job, and there was no way of coming out of it before you had done all of them, so I just thought "ooh, let's make a few quid" and got on with it. I have now deleted their app and I'll find something else.

Oh yeah, Neevo is rather quiet at the moment. I hope they have more stuff coming our way soon!

Also can anyone recommend any other transcription sites please? I wouldn't mind doing more transcription in case Rev doesn't work out. I quite enjoy it (I have a linguistics degree so I'm a language nerd anyway) and would like to do more. Are there any good British ones about?

No Neevo work for me. I did all the tests to get on to the audio validation task and I had only one or two tasks before there were none available.

I finally got it. Only did 15 mins and it was out. I guess you have to do an hr at least to be paid.
