June earn £10 a day thread

It's a brand new month so have started a new thread.

I've had few emails from Neevo over the weekend offering work, however I still haven't received payment for tasks I did at the beginning of May so am giving them a wide berth. Anyone else?

So excited to begin the potatoe journey. got most of my logins just waiting on the tool login.
Any tips from the experienced to get me going would be much appreciated.

Hi, I'm fairly new to all of this! I signed up to clickworker but a lot of my low paying jobs get refused for some reason, despite following the instructions exactly and paying attention. Prolific has also been fairly quiet. I'm going onto SSP soon so trying to put a bit of money aside for when the baby is due (Dec)

When you don't earn much in the first two weeks. Don't worry about it. It does get easier and you do get better :)

Potato is total waste of time. Pay is ridiculously low. Dont put in all the time learning their protocols for 3p per item. Do something else

@user1486472583 fairly one sided review there. It's brilliant for me 🤷🏼‍♀️. I'm happy making £10/11 an hour. It's only crap if you can't do a decent amount of items per hour.

I’m making around £10 an hour on Potato. Sometimes more if there is a surge. You would have to go very fast but it’s not impossible, and once you’ve been there a while you can do shifts. You couldn’t earn a full time wage on it but it meets the £10 a day criteria with knobs on.

Also making around £10 an hour. I like it as you can work when you want and I don't find it boring so it goes quite quickly.

Does anyone know what's going on with B++e and W+++i on Appen? I asked to be removed from Wouri as I can no longer commit to 20 hrs on it. The reply to my ticket says I have been removed from B++e. Now I'm worried I'm going to be taken off both (and kicked off Appen because I am not doing anything for them if I'm not doing those). Stress!

@margaritasbythesea,I think the rosters for W and B have been merged so everyone who was previously on either project now works both.

@margaritasbythesea I would let them know they've removed you from the wrong one and ask them to go back on as I'll be really surprised if we ever get enough work for 20 hours plus a week. If we do you could always send in an unavailable ticket so you won't get penalised, and still do what you can.

Thanks. I've written to them. I know I probably should have stayed on both and it wouldn't have been a problem but I get very nervous if I overcommit. We'll see!

how do i invoice the potatoe people?

ive had a statement of hours. Can i just copy that and send it through. My first month I didnt really do a lot and was just getting a feel for it

@Wheelyyyy Take a look at the Wiki for full instructions and their address etc but you basically send them an invoice either through paypal or a normal one to a certain email address. You would write each month as a separate line on the one invoice.

Fell off these threads a while ago but omg I actually got accepted for a job on appen finally!! I knew you lot would understand my excitement :o

Now make DS2 stay asleep so I can Sohn up properly for it :o
