It's a brand new month so have started a new thread.

I've had few emails from Neevo over the weekend offering work, however I still haven't received payment for tasks I did at the beginning of May so am giving them a wide berth. Anyone else?

@dirtyfries I hope that's a misprint on their part. 10 € is like 8p so 5€ is just not worth it. They are super busy at the moment so it's worth filling out the forms. They are legit paperwork wise. It's all about assigning your id number and ensuring you get paid. Just make sure that 5€ is a typo 🤔

Hello! I'm new to this but giving it a bash as I'm shielding and have no life!

Started 20cogs but their website is very buggy on my phone.

Any one got any do's and donts for a newbie? I've read through the different places to try on the may thread.

@Azerothi how long ago was that? I read through my lionbridge contract and without going into too much detail, it said they cannot stop you from working on other projects

I'm still arguing with Neevo over the money they owe me and have added a scathing review to Trust Pilot too. Does anyone know if there is an ombudsman for this type of work that non-paying companies can be reported to?

I know! Well, I don't obviously, because it was my first month but I did the invoice on Saturday so not even a working day.
I opted for Paypal if that makes any difference.

@TheCanterburyWhales Yes, I think paypal speeds it up as it's all done on the one system. I've opted for bank payment so it took ages last month, think I got paid on the 23rd, but hopefully quicker this time now I'm on their accounting system.

@MrsWombat I do bank payment too and it was late last month. Better exchange rates than PayPal for me.

@ruralwanderer I don't know about an ombudsman, but you might find uploading screenshots of their crap excuses to twitter more effective.

Can anyone help re an ombudsman? This has happened to quite a few people on this thread, would be great if we could figure out how to make them pay for work that has been done..

I think the issue is that they are not overseen by anyone and some are off shore. There isn't really a business ombudsman as such. Are Neevo not based outside the UK? Not sure where that leaves you...

My earnings have been pretty much non-existent since having Little Montez, I have done some cloudworkers but not much.

Hi everyone! I've not been posting on these threads lately cos I've not had much to report! Been ticking along on appen with a project I've had almost a year now. I've not done any b* cos the email always says that the set will go quickly - is this not the case?

Neevo have started paying a bit better now they want more of those customer calls!

What's inspired me to post is that I've finally had an email from potato. What is everyone earning on there? How much work is there a week?
